Kayson saw to the immediate freedom of Cecilia when he saw a letter Abigail dropped before she left.
He read the note:

“She left me, Frank”. Kayson broke down uncontrollably in the police station. Cecilia was already released and standing with Frank.
“It’s a pity we arrested an innocent soul. My deepest apologies, Kayson. Women are unpredictable. Be consoled”. The DPO said consolingly.
Frank knew Kayson couldn’t drive. He drove them home. Everyone took a deep breath.
“Why will Abigail do this? How could she? It’s over three months now since she left! My wife was held captive for knowing nothing about her whereabout. It’s so unfair!”. Frank bowled.
“I’m sorry, Frank. I was helpless in the whole thing”. Kayson cried.
“It’s not you, Kayson. God will never forgive Abigail!”. Frank cursed annoyingly.
“I know Abigail. She can’t do anything without telling me. We are best friends since our university days.” Cecilia defended emotionally.
“Are you being serious right now?”. Frank yelled at her. They were surprised at her disposition.
“She doesn’t worth being kept as a friend! A woman who would abandon her marriage and run away with another man is typically a murd3rer!”. Frank thundered.
“This is strange. I know Abigail!”. Cecilia insisted. She nodded as she talked in the affirmative.
“I guess today’s the last time I will hear you talk about her! She shouldn’t influence you with her hazardous traits!”. Frank rebuked angrily.
“See Kayson, enough of this Abigail!”. Frank turned to Kayson.
“What have you not done to make her happy? What have you not done to keep her? What exactly didn’t you do to make her a wife! You were even faithful enough not to cheat! Listen man, utilize this chance and marry Zenab. She has been there for you! She cooks your meal, Washes your cloth, cleans the house and checks up on you always! What else do you want? Marry peace of mind!”.
“Hone-y! That’s unfair! You’re misleading him and it’s not wise!”. Cecilia interrupted her husband immediately.
“What do you know? Get into your room! Now!”. Frank rebuffed her. She felt reluctant but she calmly left the parlour.
“It’s just that I still love Abigail. I can’t believe she did this to me! She should have told me I’m not the kind of man for her!”. Kayson sobbed.
“She didn’t tell you. She just left! Isn’t that enough prove that she isn’t real for someone like you? Kayson, move on! At first, we thought she got into trouble bug no! She abandoned you for another man! Go home and make Zenab happy. That woman uk your house is your reward!”. Frank sermonized eagerly.
Kayson was quiet and pained. He knew he still hasn’t recovered from the shock Abigail put him. He bent his head and cried.

“Aaaah! Madam! Thank God sey you don come back ooh! Everybody dey look for you!”. Musa, the gatekeeper saw Abigail walking through the gate. Abigail was Serene. Her movements were strange. Musa looked at the gate, it was firmly locked. He turned to Abigail bewildered.
“Madam, how you take enter the compound? The gate still dey lock the way I lock am?”. Musa asked her surprisingly.
Abigail didn’t say a word. She walked in and walked out of the gate silently.
Musa stood dumbfounded.
