“Who are you?” Elvis finally asked, ending the hateful stare in between them.
Axel scoffed.
“I should be one asking instead. So, who the f*ck are you?” He eyed him.
I looked at both of them and laughed.
They turned to me, wondering why I was laughing absurdly.
My laughter slowly tuned low and I rolled my eyes, annoyingly, rubbing my tongue down the edges of my mouth.
“So annoying” I muttered.
“What?” They asked, simultaneously.
“Let go of my hand now”
“Rose? it’s me, Axel…”
“I don’t care! You both,, leave me now!” I snapped, and pulled my hand away.
I inhaled deeply, and dusted my hands by clapping them.
“Gosh,, too many flirty hands touched me in just a day. So annoying” I said, walking away.
Axel looked at me, perplexed. He sighed and turned to Elvis whose eyes were still on me.
I stopped walking and look back.
“Hey, Elvis? You coming or not?” I asked, in a yell.
“Coming!” He replied, and ran to meet up with me. Axel watched us till we walked out of sight.

We finally got out from the department president’s office after some few minutes.
Since, we were done,, I managed to walk away from Elvis.
“Rose?” I heard him call.
I inhaled deeply, agigated before turning back to him.
“Yes, Elvis? Any problem?” I asked.
“Don’t you need my number?” He asked.
I blinked my eyes, in surprise. Why would he say something abnormal?
“What do you mean? Do you think I’m the type that asks guys for their phone numbers? Pathetic” I scoffed.
Elvis chuckled.
“Cute” He mumbled.
“Pardon?” I asked.
“What I mean,, is,, don’t you need my number so that you would add me to the class group on WhatsApp. i don’t wanna miss any useful information,,, you know” He smiled.
“Oh,, that. What’s your number then?” I asked.
“No,, give me your number instead” Elvis said.
“And why?” I asked, shaking my head.
“You might not do it later on. You might get tired or even busy. So, I just need to chat you up to remind you” He said.
I scratched my forehead and nodded.
“Okay then… My number is 01….,,” I said.
He smiled and quickly pressed it down into his phone before saving it.
“Okay then… Bye. You should rest today. Tomorrow, I’m gonna take you to our first lecture hall. Have a good evening” I said, slowly leaving.
“Rose?” He called again.
I sighed.
What does this guy want exactly?
I turned to him and forced a weird smile.
“What is it, again?” I asked.
“I…am not like those guys” He muttered.
I blinked.
“What?”
“I don’t flirt” He muttered again.
He walked closer to me, and roughed my hair.
“You are cute, Rose” He smiled, and finally walked away.
I swallowed hard and felt my heart jump. I held my bag strap tightly which was over my chest. I looked back at him and saw him walk away from sight.
“Who’s that guy?” I muttered.
“And why does he keep making me feel this way?” I thought, and squeezed my chest.
Lily’s Room**
“Isn’t your roommate back?” I asked, as I opened the mini fridge. I took out a canned beverage and closed it back.
I walked to the bed, and opened the can, drinking its contents.
Lily sighed and shrugged her shoulder.
“Don’t know. She’s a f*ck girl”
“As if you aren’t a f*ck girl” I laughed.
“I’ve changed. Vin left me remember?,,, there’s no guy to make me feel wet anymore” She said.
I laughed, and laid on the bed.
“What are you making by the way?” I asked.
“Porridge. Care for some?” She asked.
“Yes. When I’m done,, I need to zoom off back to my room,, I have assignments and projects to cover up”
“Oh,,, thats my assistant course rep over there” She teased.
“Fo.ol,,, keep mocking me,, okay?” I chuckled.
My phone beeped and I took it from my pocket. It was a WhatsApp message from an unknown number. I click on the message and saw;
It’s Elvis. Save my number now, flower winks
I smiled, and saved it. I didn’t reply him. I just added him to the group and went to check status.
I click on Axel’s status and boldly, he wrote;
*BROKENπππ*
“Pathetic” I scoffed and just then, Elvis’s status popped in. It loaded and a bright picture was loaded. It was a picture of me, eating doughnut then at the field.
Elvis secretly took the picture when he went to get us sprite from the vending machine. The picture was unaware but it came out beautiful and perfect.
He captioned it with, A Flower Indeed.
I didn’t notice when I smiled.
“Cute” I whispered.
I replied to it, of course
Thank you, Elvis. It came out so well. Gonna save this.

I laughed.

I messaged.

I slowly bit my lips and dropped my phone down. I looked at the ceiling and touched my fast beating heart.
“Could he be different?” I thought.
“Hey! Lily! What’s up with the porridge?” I suddenly yelled.
“Almost ready, goat” Lily replied.
“You are a chicken!” I laughed, and then looked at the message on my phone again. I smiled, meekly.

“I’m home!” I shouted and went in.
I raised my eyes up to see Elvis…
“How did you know i-
I paused when I saw him sitting close to Julie on her bed. She was knotting a tie on him. He was smiling at her before his eyes fell on me. Julie turned her head and smiled at me.
I tightened my hand on my bag strap, and felt odd things going on with my eye and around my stomach. I felt so sad?…
“I guess all guys are the same afterall” I said, and walked out,, slamming the door.
~ Season 2 Just Started and its gonna be great and certainly worth it, just like Season 1.
