Adebimpe spent two weeks at the hospital due to the illness. She was unable to do anything, it was Josiah and Mr Charles that do come often to check on her to the extent Josiah almost had a clash with Mr Charles because of how he do visit Adebimpe. The doctor gave her some medication to be taking while at home. The cause of what happened to her wasn’t detected because it looks strange. Her body looks so rough like chicken pox growth from the skin. But thankfully the treatment she was given helped her to regain strength. She was told not to stress herself in anyway in other not to make it worse, the doctor said it looks more like spiritual and it’s by God’s grace that she survived it. All along she definitely knew the de vil in her house that would have wanted her dea d. She has no other thoughts than Faridah. She’s the only one who has been having conflict with her in the house. She has no choice than to call her daughter and informed her about her circumstances. Adesewa didn’t hesitate before returning back home because of what her mother said.

“My dear, please help me with that herbs.” She said to her daughter who sat at the chair opposite her. She gave her the herbs to drink and she thanked her.

“Mother, what should I prepare for you?.” She asked her mother.

“Don’t worry oko mí (my darling) I will let you know when I’m hungry and moreover I can’t even wait to bounce back to my normal self so that you can return to your school.” She said.

“Noo na mother, your health is my first priority. If you’re well, my school is nothing to be worried about. My prayer is for you to get better.” She answered.

She smiles and told her to come closer as she peck her forehead.

“You are a darling and I love you so much.” She said smiling.

“I love you more mother, you’re the best in The whole world!.” She answered and laughed.

Someone knock at the door and Adesewa opened it for Nkechi to enter.

“How are you feeling now mama sewa?.” She asked sitting on the chair.

“I am fine oo mama Chinedu, thank you so much for your care and I’m really grateful.”

“It’s okay (smiling) what are we family for if not to help each other.” She said. I brought this medication soup for you and I’m very sure it will help also.”

“Thank you mama Chinedu may God bless you for me.” Adebimpe said.

“Amen ooo ehn’ I even want to tell you something but I don’t want Adesewa to be here.” She said and Adebimpe order sewa to excuse them.

“So, what is it?.” She asked wondering what she’s about to say.

“You see something mama sewa, I have wanted to this ooo but I don’t know how you might react to it.”

“Please say it. I might learn one or two things from it.” Adebimpe answered as she drink the soup she brought.

“It Is about this thing that happened to you, because if by looking at things. Mama Rihannat behavior looks so glaring about what might be going on in this house. And you know how she has been behaving with us in this house.” She said trying to manipulate her mind to fight with faridah.

“Thank you! I know, I know that she’s the one behind my predicament. Can’t you see how she feels less concerned about what happened to me? I have been wishing for my quick recovery so that I can deal with her very well. Just leave her ooo ….”

“Ehn’ehn!.” Nkechi shouted.

“She will tell me what I buy from her that she want to ki ll me before my time. She has forgotten God doesn’t prosper the handwork of the enemy, she thinks she can hunt me down Never! I say Never!! Mama Chinedu. I will deal with her ehn infact she will turn to air that can’t be seen again by the time I squeezed the hell out of her! .”

“very good! I will support you mama sewa! I think that day will be her last day in this house. A senior wife that can’t respect herself instead of fighting her junior to the extent of casting spell ha! Mama sewa that’s just too much! If is me ehn I will break her into pieces, even if our husband tried to separate us, he will also be dealt with.” Nkechi said in annoyance.

“Just don’t worry, at least I’m getting better already. Common to show concern, she didn’t . I know she might be plotting another way to get me, but my God is bigger than her. She will see!.” Adebimpe said aggressively, that one could even see her veins in line of her vibration.

Nkechi told her to calm down but within her she was really happy that she is able to achieve what she wanted.

“I hope you’re hearing from your boss? Mr charms or is it Charles.” Nkechi asked making Adebimpe to laugh.

“It is Charles ooo marma Chinedu. Well, he called me this morning but I just lied to him that I’m already fine .” She answered.

“Ehya!.” Nkechi said while wondering in her mind on why he would still be calling her when her husband has warned him to abstain from Adebimpe. And the man is nice oooo.” She said beaming.

“Yes oo and he has been wonderful, I won’t lie.” Adebimpe said.

“And he is married.” Nkechi asked smirking.”

“Of course!.” She answered not willing to tell her the truth.

“Can I also apply to work in his house?.” Nkechi asked smiling.

“Ehn’ maybe I can talk to him about it Sha when I resume back to work.” She answered assuring her.

“I will appreciate it ooo I also want to have something doing. But I won’t allow our husband to know Sha”.

“Why?.” She asked.

“You know he said he didn’t want to see you associating with him again.”

“Says who? Abeg forget about him jare! He is just blabbering, he knows he can’t stop me .

After some minutes Adesewa entered and Nkechi leave her room saying they will talk later.

“What have you two been discussing since?.” Adesewa asked seeing that her mother has finished the bowl of soup Nkechi brought.

“My dear, all is well.”
