Adebimpe sat in her room looking up the ceiling in tears, the thought of how she ended up getting married to Josiah couldn’t melt her mind. She caused the day her father gave her out to him to marry, the person she should have gotten married to is now living abroad with his family. She has cried unto God secretly, ever since she couldn’t give birth, for him to bless her one but it seems God is not ready to give her yet. So that was why she ended up adopting a child from the orphanage to make herself happy and to keep the mouth of judgmental people shut. Most especially her first wife. Her husband attitude suddenly changed a year she adopted Adesewa as he brought in another wife. The only problem she is now having is faridah, who always nag at her on little thing.

“She thinks she can continue forming James bond all the time. I will show her that my late mother didn’t train me to be useless to anyhow people! I will show everybody pepper in this house. It will never contain us most especially that pretender, ha! Nkechi the pretender. She will be doing as if she doesn’t do wrong in this house if Josiah is around. No wahala, we shall see.

“mummy please don’t fight with anybody again oo “ Adesewa said sitting beside her.

“My dear, just sit there and be watching ooo ma worry! (Don’t worry) see bi Josiah da e nu nitórí o kín shey omó é kó sí problem! (Josiah neglected you because you’re not his child, no problem)

“Mummy, when will I go to school? You know you promised to pay my school fees today.” She said.

“Oko mí (my darling) don’t worry, I have spoken with your father and I’m sure that his going to pay.” Bimpe said assuring her even though she knew it might not be possible.
