She managed to pick her phone and dial Josiah number to come help her to the hospital since non of her co wife could render to help her. Josiah didn’t pick his call probably because he is busy. She cursed who might have done such cruel thing because she knows it’s not ordinary and she felt faridah would have done something to her for the fact that they aren’t in good term.

“And this one refused picking his call.”

She grumbled on the floor noticing her body as turned reddish with different spot coming out. She didn’t want to retaliate yet because she knew she didn’t have the power to. She thought of who to call to come Coolvalstories rescue her, she would have called her daughter but she is in school (polytechnic) and she will definitely be disturb and distracted If she should call her.

“Or should I call Mr Charles? No! I don’t want to disturb him jare and moreover he didn’t know the challenges I’m going through in this house. Ha! Haaaaa (coughing out blood) God help me! I reject any arrow of the devil in Jesus name! Mi ó ní kú bí kí sé yiye! ( I will not di e but live) haaaaa….haaaaa my stomach! Mr Charles…Mr Charles! .” She scroll down her contact grieving and shivering at the same time and dail Mr Charles number. Hello…hel…” She passed out with her phone falling off from her hand.

“Hello ooo mummy Adesewa, Hello ooo.”

No response.

“What is happening? She sounds odd, unlike her. Hello ooo say something.”

“End it then if the person is not responding.” His colleague said.

“I don’t think she’s alright, because she sounds troubled and for her to break off without saying anything again says a lot that she is in dan ger or probably going through something .” He said looking at his phone that is still reading their call. I think I have to go Usman.

“To where na! Are you done with what you’re doing?.” He said awaiting Mr Charles reply who had hurried out without listening to him.

He entered his car without ending Adebimpe call and kept wondering what could be going on. He was expecting someone to at least pick it and say something but all his expectation was cut off.

“How do I locate her now? I don’t even know her house. Mrs Josiah please speak, I’m still on the line. Who is there with you?.”

No response.

He carried his laptop and check where he had her biography and joyfully he found her address. He drove away in speed muttering that there shouldn’t be traffic. In less than 20 minutes he arrived at the front of Adebimpe house and parked his car , he looked at the address to confirm where he is. He saw a woman coming out who is Nkechi. He called her and ask if she knows anyone called mummy sewa in the house.

“Mummy sewa?.” She looks awfully as if she doesn’t understand what he meant. How did she look like if you can describe h…”

“She is dark…. Like chocolate and average chubby.” He answered interrupting her. She has a fair daughter just as she once describe to me.

“oh! Ohh! Oh you mean Adebimpe the guidance of Adesewa right.” She said in a jesting manner.

“Guidance like how (confused) anyways just tell me where she is. Is this her house?.” He asked looking worried.

“Ehn, this is her house (he got down immediately going inside) but wait na….why are you here to see her?.” She asked following him inside to intercept him from entering.

“Excuse me madam, I think she’s not in good State.” He said begging her to let him in.

“What do you mean? So I should allow you enter our house when I don’t know you. Infact our husband must hear about this first before you enter.” She answered at the entrance.

“Our what???…. like our, you mean…. Never mind. Can you just let me in please.”

“I want to pass.” Faridah said at the entrance carrying a bowl of water. Immediately Nkechi move away Mr Charles entered immediately entering the sitting room and look around for Adebimpe. He called her severally and no response. He dial her number and it started ringing. He traces the ringtone to where Adebimpe was lying lifeless.

“You better don’t touch her!.” Nkechi shouted warning him.

“Mrs Josiah! Mrs Josiah!!.” He called her severally and check her pulse, after no response and realized her breathing is short. Jesus !”. He shouted and carried her away immediately pushing Nkechi aside .

“You are not even scared of your life sef instead of risking it for someone else. You didn’t know what happen to her oo.”

“I think you and the person in the house should be apprehended for neglecting her without rescuing her. This is really cr@zy and absurd.” He said to Nkechi who continues to glamour that he can’t carry her away because he’s a stranger. Get your fitly hand off me before I give you a knock out you this psychopath! If you want to know about where I’m taking her to (took out his card) here, have it you can call me or follow me right now if you want to and stop getting me pissed off with your procrastination!.” She entered the car and sit at the front.

“Mama faridah, I dey come ooo (silent and hissed) the mumu no go even answer me sef. Eh’ and my children will soon come from school ooo.”

She kept talking non stop whereas Mr Charles didn’t give a Darm about all her saying as his only desire at that moment is to arrive at the hospital on time.

Adebimpe has been dragged all along by her mother who was pushing her away from the river bank that her time is not up.

“Mother let me go ooo.” She cried wanting to enter the water.

“I said No! Go back my daughter go back! You’re eagle that can’t be hunt down easily. I have always told you never to surrender to defeat. Always fight for courage and victory.

“Nooooo mother noooooo my life as always been meaningless without being fruitful. I have been enduring and wishing for a better day but it seems it’s not coming any moment so just let me stay with you mother.” She said holding her mother in tears.

“Don’t you remember what I always say to you while on earth that you’re like a serpent that the human should be scared of huntng, because you have the venom of power in your mouth to destroy and ki lls, your delay is never a denial. Whatever you seek from your father in heaven, believe that he will do it without you changing your faith or belief. I told you that life is full of competitions the more you tried to win the more you encounter challenges and obstacles. It’s never over until it’s over!!!!!.”

Her voice echo’s in Adebimpe ears as she opened her eyes looking around where she’s. She knew she just got revived by God and her mother. Her eyes closed again deeply in tears. She definitely can’t remember what actually happened at that moment.

“Are you okay?.”

The voice sounds familiar to her but she prefer having her eyes closed to figure out who the familiar voice look like. She opened it suddenly turning her head towards where the voice came from earlier.

“Mr Charles!.” She muttered calmly.

“Thank God…thank God! Are you okay now? Like….”

“Mr Charles, so you eventually came.” She said while trying to control her tears. Thank you very much…. Thank you so so much. May….”

“Shiiiiiii it’s okay my dear, just calm down for now.” He said shushing her .

“My dear?.” She said in her mind surprisingly on while he would call her” my dear” when did we start dearing each other àbî ó tí mó nípà mí ní (Has he knows about me) dear? Dear?? Me! Ha!.
