“Mother please it’s okay!.” Adesewa pleaded.

“No! Adesewa let me deal with this little brat that thinks she can do anyhow. Wait na, why don’t you wait so that I can pieces your brain with this knife and bottle.

Meanwhile, Nkechi purposely stayed indoor listening to what is going on excitedly.

“Make una Kil l una sef! That’s mine desire, but both of you should not ki ll my husband ooo.”

Josiah opened the door in speed unknowingly that Nkechi has been listening all along. The door hit her head hard making her to hold it firmly in pains.

“I purposely did not come out ooo if not she might have turned to me likewise.” She said spreading the bed neatly for him to sit.

“I regretted the day I came across this Adebimpe! She’s the warrior in the house, I don’t know maybe there’s a power dwelling in her that makes her behave like tout at times. Ehn! All of a suddenly, just because of faridah, if you….if you see how she reacted like a lion.” He said panting heavily holding on to Nkechi shoulder.

“See, my husband I think this is the right time for you to send them away oo because if they continue to live with us, who knows what might happen next time? Maybe she might wake up one day to stab everybody, and may God forbid bad thing ooo hmmm!.”

“You better come out! Useless man, come let me tear you apart!.” Adebimpe said at his door banging it vigorously.

“You see; She doesn’t worth a wife ‘. A nagging wife is always a devil workshop because she can be used to torment her husband anytime, and that is exactly what she’s doing. I don’t know why you didn’t send her packing all these years and it’s not that she even have any children for you ooo or you think someone else child can ever be as yours Nkem? Answer meeee (he was so in thought by what she’s saying) just look at me now, since I have been in this house, how many times or days have you ever seen me displaying madness like them? (No response) You know me for sure that I don’t create such bombastic behavior all because of unnecessary reasons.”

“I am just fed up about all these, is it a crime having more than one wife? Tha….

“It is oo my husband! It’s a crime!.” She answered interrupting him.

“Then I shouldn’t have married you then.” He answered

“Ehn…well, it’s good and not still good. At least you’re….”

“Mother, I’m going to my friend house.” Rebecca said and she shouted at her for interrupting her conversation. Since I don’t have anything doing na Mama.” She answered.

“Will you keep quiet! Meshuonu!(keep quiet) so I should allow you to go outside so that they can break your head for me abi? My friend better go and sit there before I whoas (hit) you slap.” She shouted at her in a low voice.

Rebecca grumbled and sat back looking at her mother disrespectful but Nkechi didn’t care about it as she continues her conversation with Josiah.

“I hope you are seeing your daughter okwaya (right) so as I was saying, the most painful part of it that really got me angry is when she told me about her affair with her boss. Like, can you imagine that my husband?? I told you naaa. if I had been a wife that likes fornicating, I would have accepted to her request of friendly her boss friend but…”

“Its okay!.” Josiah said calmly, pulling on his trouser to his waist and zip up.

“Where are you going? Do you want to go outside and meet her again?.” Nkechi asked with no response.

He picked his phone and look out for Adebimpe father’s number and dial it continuously until he picks.

“Hel…”

“Don’t hello me at all Mr kósókó! I have had enough of your daughter and I think this is the right time to send her off!.”

“Ha! Hah! What happened Josiah? Why this early morning venting of speech? What has Adebimpe done this time around?.” He asked.

“I think when she comes back to your house, you should ask her that!.” He shouted over the phone and hanged up. What nonsense! I have endure enough!.

“Very good! Very good my husband, now you’re talkinggggg I’m sure we will surely have peace in this house habba! It’s just too much! Who knows where she brought that strange illness happening to her.” She said pretending to be angry.

Josiah goes back to the sitting room and found Adesewa crying, he ignored her and walked over to Adebimpe doorstep and shouted that she should pack her things out peacefully or else he would be forced to send areas boys to do so for her. Adebimpe didn’t show any remorseful attitude as she dragged her box outside without uttering a word to Josiah.

“Wow…like wow! Definitely, you have been aiming to leave this house for long. You have been expecting me to take action on you so that you can leave.” Josiah said looking at her surprisingly because he wasn’t expecting her to make up her mind to leave that instant. Has your father called?.” He asked and still she didn’t reply. Am I talking to ghost or what??.” He asked loudly.

“Oko mi (my darling) get up let go.” She said to her daughter.

“But mom…”

“Common get up my dear and let go!.” She said to her in haste as she obeyed. She faces Josiah whose mouth is agape looking like a lost child. When you’re ready for the divorce, let me know.” She said and walked out with her daughter.

Faridah and her daughter stood at the entrance of their room watching them leaving, their face got brighten up in joy, her daughters giggling excitedly behind her because Adebimpe has gone.

“Finally, it’s now remaining one to go.” Faridah said in her mind with joy.

Josiah stood at the same place still wondering if truly Adebimpe just walked out from the house.

“I can’t believe this?.” He muttered. She didn’t even apologize!.”

“Why will she apologize? Is it not good for her to leave. My prayers are just getting answered and it’s remaining that prostituted you kept in the house.” Faridah said pointing to Nkechi door not knowing that she’s behind her.

“And it’s you that will leave this house! It’s you that will leave Amoeba, no body! I mean no senseless person can push me out of my husband house. It’s either you leave or we both leave same day.” Nkechi answered standing at her front, raising her body to her face.

She quickly adjusted herself immediately remembering her husband is still there, Josiah looked at them insensitively and hissed at them going back inside the room.

“I don’t think both of you have sense!.” He uttered and dialed Adebimpe father’s number again to know if truly he has called her.

“Hello sir.” He said.

“Have she apologize?.” The father asked but it came as shocked to Josiah.

“Apologize ? You mean you told her to apologize Mr kósókó?.” He asked.

“Yes na! I called her and told her to make sure she settled any issues she might be having with you.”

“Then what was her response?.” Josiah asked attentively.

“She didn’t even let me finish my saying before she hangs up. But have she apologize?.” He asked.

“She left the house not quite long without saying anything to me except the last statement she made that I should let her know if I’m ready for divorce.” Josiah answered.

“Ha! She left bàwó? (How) where is she going to? I’m sure she can’t come to my house, so where will she go?.” He asked.

A thought came on Josiah, fastened towards Adebimpe Boss.

“Yes! I know. I know where she might be going.”

“And where is that?.” Mr kósókó asked with an ending call from Josiah without replying him.

“She thinks she’s wise abi (roaming around the room) Nkechi! Nkechi!!!.” He called out repeatedly.

“My husband what is it?.” She asked looking anxious.

“Did you know where Charles or whatever his name is, is living ?.” He asked in an anger voice.
