After the sit out, we both visited some resort centers (tinapa and marina resort calabar) before he drove me back home.
Our outing was really fun but I didn’t attach any importance to it because men can hardly be trusted.
The next day morning, Mr Tony came to my house and asked me if I like him and would ever consider marrying him if the need arises?
I replied.
‘Yes I like every human being, so you are not an exception. As for marrying you, I cant say anything now, let God decide that one’
He smiled and said👇
“OK, think and pray about it, if you will like to marry someone like me, when I return in one week time, you will give me your answer…….but for now, I just came to inform you that I will be going back to my village to arrange one or two things but will return next week Friday which will be a week from today”
We both said goodbye to each other as he left.
Minutes after, mama Oluchi came into my room
saying that her brother couldn’t stop talking about me since he dropped me off yesterday so
I should start getting myself ready for marriage because it
Looks like her brother is going home to inform his parent and kins men that he has found someone to marry.
Five days later, Mr Tony drove to my house directly from his village and said👇
“Stella you must be surprised to see me today right?
I know I promised to return in one week time but I could not even stay away from you for up to one week….
I have not been able to get you off my head since I met you last week and I don’t have any time to waste
that is why I have come back here to ask you,
Stella will you marry me?”
Don’t you think this proposal is too soon?
I mean you don’t know me very well and I don’t know you too so how can we get married? I asked him looking very confused
“Stella its not too soon at all my dear,
my sister has told me all about you…..
She said both of you has stayed together in this compound for the past 5 years which is more than enough time for anyone to know their neighbour totally and I believe she must have also told you some things about me?”

“No buts, let’s get married……. I know I introduced myself on the first day we met, but let me do it again,
I am Tony Ezemelu from Ohazara in ebonyi state, based in the united states of America, I just came back to get myself a wife from my country because I love my black root and you happen to be the woman with all the qualities I want.
Now that I have found you, we should start the marriage procedures immediately so that we can have some days or week to be together before I return back to base.
I was only given two months from my place of work in the US
So as soon as you just agree to marry me now,
I will take you to my village so that you meet my people,
after which, I will follow you to see your people so that they can fix date for me to bring my people for introduction and collection of list!”
Hmmmmm I am really confused right now, Mr Tony can you give me time to think about it?
“Okay, I will give you from today Wednesday to Friday evening to make a decision so that if your answer is yes, me and you will travel to my place very early on Saturday to meet my people.”
He responded as he quickly walked out of my room to his car.
As soon as he left, I fell down on my knees and started praying, begging God to help me make the right decision this time around
Then I called my sisters to the room immediately and asked their sincere opinions about mr Tony and how they would feel if I agree to marry him.
They all seemed to like him a lot and would be very happy if God can bless the family with a good and rich man like him.
I sent them back to what they were doing then rushed to mama Oluchi’s house and informed her about her brother’s proposal
She jumped up and started dancing for joy and then asked if I accepted him immediately
I said no, I didn’t accept him immediately but I told him to give me time to think about it so he gave me till Friday evening.
Her countenance changed immediately as she started quarreling me
“See this girl o, why didn’t you accept to marry him immediately?
What is there to think about?
If you didn’t consider him, couldn’t you consider me your friend that will become your sister in-law?
Something I have been praying for since, now my brother likes you and proposed….

Her facial expression made me burst into loud laugh😂
While laughing very hard, I responded
My very own mama Oluchi, no worry na, Friday is not far at all

She smiled, opened her fridge and gave me chilled zobo drink,
As I was drinking, she started gisting me more about her brother, their family and village e.t.c….
