Victoria couldn’t change me until our year 3,
I intentionally decided to loosen up a little because in one of our arguments, she said if I continue to be hiding away from people and events, I might not be able to get a husband on time or forever.
So I started being free and following Victoria to some events and sit outs.
Ordinarily, I don’t look so attractive
so anytime we went out together, all the men keep running after my friend while I stand or sit one side and watch them…
I began to think, if there is something run with me?
Since I got admission into the university, no man has ever seriously asked me out exception of one old lecturer that wanted me to rub his back for lust but I refused and
when I refused his proposal, he angrily said that👇
“You are not my spec, I just wanted to manage you…..
Get out of my office with that your black ug*ly fa*ce, your kpekus must be as black and ug*ly as your fa*ce….. I don’t want it again”
I cried seriously that day but there was nothing I could do about it……. He tried all means to make me carry over his course but couldn’t because I was clearly very intelligent and everybody knew about that.
Am I truly so ugly that no man has ever genuinely asked me out?
I called out to Victoria and asked her to describe me…
“Describe you how, where is this one coming from?….. Abeg leave me, I no get energy for that kind thing”
She replied me looking confused
I quickly explained the fact that no man has ever asked me out apart from that old lecturer and he didn’t even ask me out, he just commanded me to make out time and rub his back
As I was explaining, Victoria quickly interrupted👇
“Who do you expect to ask you out with this your big skirt like mama dash me, black sweaty face, low cut, no ear rings or make up….? You just dey keep yourself strong strong….
even me when be babe like you, I no fit see anything for your body wen person fit admire”
I started crying but she begged me not to cry, promising that she is going to help me get better.
The next day being Friday evening, she called me over and dashed me a lot of nice cloths, jewelries and did nice make up on my face and
asked me to wear one of the red small gowns she just gave me and look at myself in the mirror
Immediately I dressed and stood in front of the mirror,
I smiled and shouted wow, who is this? I have never looked this beautiful before…. Thank you so much Victoria
She replied “no wahala, stop thanking me, I can do anything for you my friend… Now that you are done, let me quickly get myself ready too so that we can go to my boyfriend’s birthday party together”
I immediately declined the proposal of following her to her boyfriend’s birthday party,
But with so much pleading, I finally agreed.
When we got to the venue, everyone looked at us with so much admiration, they observed the changes in me and started congratulating me for looking beautiful
Some men including Victoria’s boyfriend’s best friend Jerry came closer and started asking me out.
When I rejected them all, Jerry went to Victoria and begged her to convince me to be his girlfriend.
