At Jeff’s house, Tricia was in the sitting room watching a movie with Jeff’s mom when a call came in from one of the award winning film directors.
“Hello.” Tricia said as soon as she picked the call.
“Am I speaking with Tricia Balogun?.” He asked.
“Yes. But please who am I speaking with?.” Tricia asked.
“Good day Tricia. This is director Lawan Adeola from DGN. I hope you are good?.” He asked.
“Oh. Yes sir. I’m good and you?.” Tricia asked.
“I’m good Tricia. I called in regards to the movie audition you took part in two months ago.” He said.
“Okay?.” Tricia said feeling anxious.
“Congratulations Tricia. You’ve been offered the lead role in our upcoming block burster movie titled his obsession.” He said.
Having heard this, Tricia jumped up and shouted in excitement and disbelief.
“What?. Are you for real?.” She shouted in excitement.
“Yes Tricia. You know, after the audition, we the casting directors sat down and deliberated on which of the female actresses who took part in the audition, could actually bring the female lead character to life. And as God may have it, you captured our hearts with your excellent performance and acting skills during the audition process. And that is why we’ve decided to offer you the female lead role. Cause we’ve seen that you alone can bring the female lead character to life.” He said.
“Oh my God!. Thank you so much sir. I’m really grateful for this opportunity. It has always been my dream to work with you. I’m truly overwhelmed right now. I don’t even know how to express my gratitude and excitement. But i promise not to take this opportunity for granted.” Tricia said with tears of joy looming in her eyes.
“We are trusting you to give us your very best Tricia. Let’s make this movie a hit.” He said.
“Sure sir. I promise to give it my all. I’m really grateful.” Tricia said feeling grateful and excited.
“What’s the excitement all about?.” Jeff’s mom asked as soon as Tricia got off the phone.
“Mom, I’ve been offered a lead role in an upcoming movie, that would be directed by one of the award winning directors in the movie industry.” Tricia shouted with tears in her eyes.
“Wow!. This is great news. I’m so happy for you my child. This calls for celebration.” Jeff’s mom said.
“Exactly mom. I’ve always wanted to work with director Lawan. Most of the movies he directed are top notch. And most times, he ends up getting an award for his exceptional directing skills. I’m so excited mom. This project is going to boost my acting career.” Tricia jubilated in joy.
“You know what?. Why don’t you tell Jeff about it?. This is the perfect opportunity for you two to go out on a date. I’ve noticed that you hardly go out. And Jeff is always at the office. And trust me, if this continues, then your marriage will be nothing but boring. Cause all these little outdoor activities are needed to spice up your marriage.” Jeff’s mom said.
“Ermmmm….” Tricia said scratching her head.
“Why are you still hesitating to give him a call?.” Jeff’s mom asked.
Just then, Jeff’s call came in.
“Mom it’s Jeff. He is calling.” Tricia said with excitement written all over her face.
“Then what are you waiting for?. Go ahead and pick his call.” Jeff’s mom said.
“Hello…!.” Tricia Said as soon as she picked Jeff’s call.
“Ermmmm…, Tricia?.” Jeff began.
“Yes Jeff. Is everything okay?.” Tricia asked.
“Well, the thing is, I forgot an important file that contains some important documents needed for a business negotiations with some of my foreign investors.” Jeff said.
“Oh no. What do we do now?.” Tricia asked looking worried.
“I don’t know if it would be okay to inconvenience you with this. But the truth is, I need your help. I need you to help me bring those documents to my office. Cause coming back home will only keep my investors waiting.” Jeff said.
“Okay. That’s not a problem. I will be coming over with the file.” Tricia said.
“Thank you so much Tricia. I would really appreciate it if you do that for me.” Jeff said.
“Don’t worry about that. I gat you on this.” Tricia said.
As soon as Tricia got off the phone, Jeff’s mom pulled her hand.
“What’s going on?. What did he say?. Why didn’t you tell him the good news?.” She asked all at once.
“Mom, Jeff has asked me to bring an important document to him at the company.” Tricia said.
“What a pleasant day it is. It seems like the heavens are with you today.” Jeff’s mom said.
“How do you mean?.” Tricia asked totally curioused.
“How about I help you kill two birds with one stone?.” Jeff’s mom said giving Tricia a mischievous smile.
Tricia scoffed and asked, “What are you talking about mom?.”
“Go get dressed. You are not only going there to give him those documents. But you are going there, to make your husband fall for you all over again.” Jeff’s mom said.
“Mom?. You keep speaking in parables. What exactly are you saying?.” Tricia asked totally confused.
“What I mean is, you are not going to his office dressed like the usual you. You are going there to show him your other side. The super star in you. Trust me, there is no better way to deliver a good news other than this.” Jeff’s mom said. “Now get going quickly.” She said pushing Tricia forward.
Tricia entered into Jeff’s room completely confused on what dress to wear to the company. She then put a call across to precious seeking her opinion and assistance.
“Well, if his mom wants you to look ravishing and breathtaking for him, then why not play along?. You are an actress and I’m sure you have the right wears to put on. Just imagine yourself appearing on a red carpet show.” Precious said.
“Red carpet show?. Then I think I know what dress to wear to his office.” Tricia said smirking mischievously.
She quickly ended the call and rushed into her previous room, where she had kept some of her clothes.
Searching through the wardrobe, she picked one of the dresses she wore to a red carpet show. And quickly, she huriedly changed into the dress.
It was a red, short, sleeveless dress which revealed her curves and her beautiful body structure. The dress complimented her beautiful skin and made her undeniably beautiful.
After that, she quickly wore her 30 inches body wave hair. Which laid beautifully on her left shoulder. Then she went for her black heel shoe and matched it with a black clutch purse. She beautifully did her makeup and wore a nice perfume to smell good.
When she was done wearing her earrings, wrist watch and necklace, she completed her look with a dark sunshade. And without further hesitation, she stepped out looking different and breathtaking.
“Wow!.” Jeff’s mom exclaimed as soon as Tricia stepped into the sitting room. “I can bet you that my son won’t be able to recognize you. My goodness. You look totally different and exceptionally beautiful.” Jeff’s mom praised.
Tricia couldn’t help but blushed effortlessly.
“Thank you Mom.” She said with shyness in her eyes.
“You’ve wasted so much time already. Now quickly run along so he doesn’t get infuriated. You know how Jeff can be.” Jeff’s mom said.
“Alright mom. See you when I return.” Tricia said waving at her.
“Return?. No please don’t worry about me okay?. Take your time. I want you both to hangout tonight. And please don’t forget to give him the good news.” She said.
“Alright mom. Bye.” Tricia waved.
At the company.
Jeff was restless as he kept staring at the wall clock while discussing with his foreign investors and prospective clients.
“What’s keeping Tricia?. This meeting will be over soon and she’s not here yet with the documents. Is she trying to get back at me or what?.” Jeff wondered.
Tricia arrived at the company looking all breathtaking. Her beauty caught the attention of all the staffs who saw her walking into the company. Most of them didn’t know that she was Jeff’s wife due to how private their wedding was. While some recognized her as the actress that she was. But one thing was certain. Her beauty and appearance swept them off their feet.
She was still busy catwalking when Jeff’s call came in.
“Where are you?.” He whispered in anger and frustration.
“I’m already inside the building. So where do I meet you?.” Tricia asked.
“I’m in the conference room which is located at the fourth floor. Make use of the elevator and please be fast about it.” Jeff said authoritatively.
“Yes sir.” Tricia said clicking her tongue.
When Tricia arrived at the door of the conference room, Leo tried collecting the documents from her. But she insisted on giving it to Jeff herself. And without further arguments, Leo let her in.
The sound of her heels drew the attention of everyone in the conference room to her direction. Then the real cat working began.
The investors were completely star struck as they stared lustfully at the beautiful creature that just walked in. Jeff couldn’t recognize Tricia as he was also wondering who she was and what she was looking for in the conference room.
But he was taken aback and became dumbfounded when Tricia took off her glasses and lean towards him from behind. Pressing her boobs against his back.
“Tricia?.” Jeff called out staring helplessly at her in outermost surprise.
“Yes honey. I brought the documents like you asked. And I will be waiting in your office.” She seductively whispered into Jeff’s ear.
Then standing upright, she wore back her glasses and said,
“Sorry for the interruption. I beg to take my leave.” She said referring to the investors who were completely smitten by her beauty.
“Excuse me!.” One of the investors said raising his hand.
Tricia slowly turned back and flipped her hair. Then with a bright smile, she asked.
“Are you referring to me?.” She asked in a calm tone.
Jeff couldn’t help but stared helplessly at her from head to toe in disbelief.
“Yes beautiful. I just wanted to ask if you are married.” He said.
Before Tricia could say a word, Jeff quickly interrupted.
“Yes sir.” Jeff said. Then standing to his feet, he grabbed Tricia’s hand and pulled her close to himself. Then looking steadily into his investor’s eyes, he said.
“She’s my wife sir.”
Hearing these words, Tricia’s jaw dropped as she looked at Jeff in outermost surprise, confussion and curiosity.
