I sat inside my room and check the time and see that it’s 4:41 pm My grandma seems to be noticing my sudden change when she saw me as I braced up lively doing things agile. She kept saying I know you’re not a small child so, you should know what you’re doing as she looked at me. I assured her that she’s right that I wouldn’t want her to be mad at me, so I’m always careful with myself.
I took my phone and thought for a while on who to call, if it should be Aunty Susan or her husband. I ended up calling Aunty Susan and hoping she would understand me.
“Hello, Chioma how are you doing? this one you remember us today”. She said laughing over the phone.
I laughed back as she told me how she has missed me and all that. I then asked of her husband leg as she said I wouldn’t imagine just when I left their house that she then decided to bring in the young boy she told me about some weeks later, that her husband suddenly started walking to her surprised.
“Infact, he was even surprised that your guidance really helped him out to recover quickly, hahaha.
“That was really good oooo”. I said laughing as I know for sure he wouldn’t want to pretend for long since I’m no more there.
“I will like to see you ma”. I said as she obligated for my coming that she will be so happy to see me also.
She asked about my grandma health as I explained how well she’s.
“That’s very good and will give glory to God. infact I’m so happy for you. I’m sorry for not calling all these while to asked about your well being, I have been so busy, from one work to another. Infact I just returned back from UK for my Conference with the Unik Limited CEO about or partnership business.
“It’s okay ma. We are doing well”. I answered smiling as we chitchat for a while and ended the call telling her I will see her tomorrow.
“I just pray she listened and believe me because I don’t want any issue with her at all. But what if she declined and became angry by sending me out of her house, what would I do then? come on Chioma! don’t think too fast and just try your luck “. I muttered as I walked to the front of my mirror and stand raising my cloth up to see my stomach.
“So, a baby is actually inside this stomach. Chai! is this God not wonderful? I never imagine that seriously, even with the fact that I had squeezed and troubled my stomach so much. Hmm’ it’s well. Chioma you’re now going to be a mother”. I said as tears flows down my stomach.
“If she ends up not Coolvalstories accepting the truth. I will have no choice than just to abort it because this will be a big shame to me and especially to my grandma.
My phone rang as I look and saw Fred calling. I picked it happily asking how he is as he responds saying he is so sorry that he couldn’t reply my messages yesterday because he was really busy.
“It’s okay, I’m not angry at you. You have told me already that you are always busy at night”. I answered smiling.
“I hope you are doing good?”. He asked.
“Sure”. I answered.
“How did your day go? gist me about it”. He said in a lovely voice as I tossed my legs together beaming.
“Well, actually, I didn’t go out today….I did some house work like washing of clothes, Sweeping, ironing, cook……”
“Come on Chioma! those are normal things to do”. He said laughing.
“I know huh, at least I still did something”. I said even though I lied about not going out.
“I know, so how about what you told yesterday?”.He asked.
“What is that? remind me please”. I said pretending not to remember.
“About you accepting me as….”
“Oh…oh..oh! I remembered. Hmm’ well…I have…. thought about it… and… and… well…no problem! I accepted”. I said stuttering happily as he shouted over the phone joyfully blowing kisses.
“Infact you just made my day so joyous and this needs to be celebrated as our first love date.
“Really!”. I asked happily.
“Yes, I’m serious.” He answered.
“You mean you want to take me out tonight?”. I asked happily.
“Of course!”. He answered.
“I thought you said you are always busy at night?”. I asked.
“yes. I said so but, not with going out with you. Most especially now that you have become part of me”. He said as I blushed the more feeling ontop of the world for him being able to sacrifice his time for me.
“No problem”. I answered.
“So, send me your home address and get ready by 7pm to come pick you”. He said.
“Alright darling”. I said.
“What did you just say now?”. He asked laughing.
“I said darling.”
“Wow, I love that sweetheart”. He said happily as he ended the call.
I screamed in joy dancing all over my room using my phone as microphone to sing.

“Is everything alright Chioma?”. My grandma opened my door as I ran to her happily telling her I will be going out with my lover as she looked at me surprisingly.
“When did you started having lover Chioma that I didn’t know? who is the boy? where is he living?”. She asked smiling.
“grandma, don’t worry you will see him when he comes.
“You mean he’s coming here?”. She asked.
“Yes grandma”. I said happily going over to my wardrobe to look for a beautiful dress.

Around 6:35 pm I was waiting patiently for Fred as his car drove over to the front of my house. He came down looking so hot and meticulously handsome. Chai! I have found my exactly type of guy.
“Hey sweetheart” He said coming over to me.
I hugged him and told him to wait in other to call my grandma. She came outside as he greeted her.
“Weldon my son, how are you doing?” She asked.
“Very fine ma, I’m sorry I came this hour. I will come and see you at a perfect time ma”. He said.
“No problem my dear. just be careful and be truthful to my grandchild okay, make sure she comes back on time ooo” She said as Fred went to his car and brought some cash to her to take.
“No my dear, thank you very much. you two can use it for yourself.” She said rejecting the money.
He was surprised as he insisted her to collect it in which she declined. I told him not to worry as she wouldn’t take it since she has declined already.
“Alright” He said smiling as we entered his car.
“grandma, I might not come home tonight oo” I said to her whining down the glass.
“I know you’re joking” She said waving at me as Fred drives off.
He carried to Cubana Suit as he told me to order anything I want. I was so happy forgotten all my problems that moment as I focused on enjoying myself to the fullest. As if my baby knew where I’m as I order different varieties of food in which Fred started laughing watching me as I eat.
“you really likes eating” He said as I smiled at him. You can eat as much as you can”.
“Thank you”. I answered.
I didn’t know why I couldn’t comport myself like, this is not the type of me to be eating like a glutton. I then swallow my thought and remember who is requesting it inside me.
We left there and went to Amusement park after I told him I don’t like clubbing as is not cool place for me when he asked if he should take me clubbing. He carried me back home some hours later when I see that it was getting late.
“I hope you enjoyed yourself” He asked as I get down.
“Of course! I do” I answered closing the door. I wish you can be doing this most times too.”
“Don’t worry I can, if I’m not busy okay” He said as I went over to his side as we both kissed.
“Good night sweetheart” He said driving off.
I went inside and saw my grandma already asleep. I tapped her severally as she didn’t respond. I checked her heartbeat and realized she’s no more breathing.
“Jesus!” I shouted throwing what I’m carrying away. grandma! grandma!!! I screamed lifting up her hands as a piece of paper fell under her left hand.
I picked it up shaking all over as I saw a sentenced written that SHE DESERVES THIS!

“Who did I offend that did this to me! ha! God grandma! grandma!!!! you’re my only family ooo please wake up I beg you!” I said panting knocking on the door of a house beside ours.
