“Okay, fine, I will do it for you since you have assured me that there won’t be any harm or effect.” I said calmly.
“Don’t worry sweetheart I promised you that there’s no such okay.” He said while hugging me. So what did you cook? I think I can eat now since you have made me happy.
I went to the kitchen back and served his food in a plate and placed it on the dining table calling him to come eat. instantly I felt some sharp pains beneath me as I noticed a water coming out. I screamed Fred name as he ran to me helping me up. Could it be that the actual date I was given is not correct? because on my card it’s written that my DD (Delivery date) is on the 25 of this month and today is just 20 how come it then comes now.
“Don’t tell me this is your month of birth, like is it upto 9 months already? He asked looking so sad.
I purposely didn’t answer him and continues to scream telling to the hospital.
“Why should it be now? like how come?”. He kept grumbling as he helped me into the car.
Hospital 🏪
I looked around the ward as the cry of my baby woke me up. I felt a sharp pain below my abdomen and remembered I was told I could only deliver through CS (caesarian Section) because I couldn’t give birth to my baby myself. At least the joy of it is that I’m fine and my baby is also fine. I carried my little baby boy on my arms with joy as I caressed his head gently as he sucked.
I was told I won’t be able to eat until I fart out so I will have to be on empty stomach. I asked one of the nurses about the whereabouts of Fred as I was told he hasn’t come this morning after the announcement of my delivery to him yesterday.
“No problem”. I said as she left after helping me to placed my boy back into his Cort.
I then remembered where he told me he would be taking me to, thinking if he had gone to look for someone else or going around to sort it out another way round. I was about sleeping when I heard a footstep and hearing Fred voice thanking the nurses.
“sweetheart, how are you doing?” He asked smiling at me.
“I’m not really good because I’m still feeling the pains” I said looking sad.
“No, come on! don’t be sad. I was told you can’t eat anything nor drink until you fart.” He said.
“I know. but I prayed I fart on time because I’m really thirsty.
I then asked how he is going to do about the sacrifice he talked about as he said I can do it anytime I’m ready to.

Fred 😈
I don’t know if there’s other way I can get the sacrifice done because I didn’t see any pregnant woman since Chioma had delivered.
“Baba, what else can I do? can she carry it without being pregnant?” I asked him sweating all over.
“Fred, you should know the consequence that would follow if you use someone that is not pregnant.” He said sniffing his nose.
I don’t care whatever might happen to her, because I don’t love her at first. I was only trying to make her feel relaxed with me so that I can be able to use her. She thinks I am dumb and doesn’t know the person responsible for her child. I will make sure I cleared everyone around her, that might want to help her or showing concern for her. Just like how I ki*lled her grandmother who refused to accept my money all because she might have seen the type of guy I am.
“Baba, don’t worry she will be discharged tomorrow and I will bring her here next tomorrow evening. But make sure she doesn’t know about the consequences ooo because she might want to question you”. I said as he grinned telling me not worry that it will go out well.
I asked him if there’s anything he can give me to use tonight because of the big plan I need to carry out tonight.
“Don’t try it oo or else your life might be ended tonight.” He answered.
“No problem baba. I will wait till I bring her then.” I said as I leave his shrine.
Chioma
I really felt the absence of my parents and grandma as they could have been here to help out in nurturing my child. But all thanks to Fred mother who came and helped out.
“I thought your husband said you two are going out? ” She asked as I nodded my head saying Yes.
“With this your condition and at this time or you don’t know is evening already? I hope you will be able to go because you shouldn’t stress yourself much at all.” She said as I laughed telling her I would be back in no time, that it’s something important.
Fred came out from the room holding a bag as he told his mother that we would be back soon.
“Okay ooo” She said as we Left.
We arrived at the said place as Fred came down telling him to give him a minute and went inside. I looked around that place with a pondering heart and started praying within me that I shouldn’t see evil. I have never in my entire life step into a shrine talk of coming around it. If not for the love I have for Fred and because the said sacrifice will be for our own good I wouldn’t have tried it at all.
“Come in sweetheart”. He said as I looked beside me not knowing when he got there.
“Are you sure there won’t be any repercussion darling?” I asked looking terrified already as he acclaimed I shouldn’t be scared that I should just trust him.
“I will be there with you sweetheart. it’s not something you will do behind me.”He said as I followed him inside.

SOME MONTHS LATER
It’s more than 2 month I did the sacrifice for Fred and it seems what he said is true as his business and money income increases. Infact, he got a house for me at lekki worth of 45million as my birthday surprised.
He is the best gift God has ever given me ever since I encountered him. I am happy because my son is living a glorious life. Well, we christened him David because God came through for me because of him. Fred mother and his two sisters including his friends were able to make it on the christened day at our house. I’m not the type that keep friends or associate with people in the church as only few came along with my pastor.
One day I was dressing up for David when my phone rang and it turns out to be Aunty Susan. My heart skip repeatedly hoping her husband hasn’t confessed to her. I picked it and was surprised with what she said without even greeting or anything.
“My husband is dead and he told me about you.” She said as I spranged up telling her it’s of the past and I have forgotten him and also forgiven him.
“Do not lie to me Chioma, did you deliver the pregnancy you had for him? because…..”
“No! I didn’t,” I answered immediately.
She begged me not to be offended for what she did as she would like to see me in other to begged me physically or perhaps I can give her my address so that she can come over.
“Don’t worry ma….I….. will….c..o..me when I’m chanced.” I answered stuttering as my baby started crying.
“Is that a baby crying?” She asked.
“Yes. it’s my baby and my husband baby.” I answered.
“When did you marry? like…..”
“Don’t question me Aunty Susan! I just told you it’s my husband baby, so you should know I got married.” I said in an angry voice as she apologized and ended the call.
So, she now has the mind to call me now to begged after the insult I received that day. I can’t even let her come near me so that it won’t result to her asking when I got pregnant and how I ended given birth by calculating the months.
I backed my baby and was petting him in other to sleep as I walked passed the secret door. I stood at the front and wondered what could be inside, even for the fact that I asked from his mother about that place in which she said she doesn’t know anything about the room.
I walked to the front and walked back as my instinct kept disturbing to just go check what is actually inside. I tried opening it and it was locked. I looked around and couldn’t find the key. I eventually gave up and was heading back to the room when my leg hit a flower vase as it fell. I was surprised seeing bunch of keys falling out the vase along with the sand that was use to mud the flower.
I quickly took it up and packed the sand back into places.
“What could make Fred to hid bunch of keys here without me knowing.
I went back to the secret door and tried different keys on it as it wasn’t opening. I tried the smaller key again and it suddenly opened.
“Thank God!” I said with a heavy signed as I open the door.
My eyes suddenly became blurry as I couldn’t believe what I’m seeing.
“Jesus!!! an image sculpture of a pregnant woman carrying a Calabash with a rope used around her.
I started shivering immediately imagining different things on how he told me he can’t do blood money and how I should trust him. I looked around the room as I saw a different gun tied with red cloth. I closed the door immediately locking it back and placing it in the flower vase covering it with sand.
“Yehhh!!! Jesus! this is what Fred kept away from me all these while. Now I know why he lied to me about not entering the said room while he claimed it to be his father secret room.” I started lamenting running inside my room to pick few of my baby items to run out of the house.
“So, I have been used by Fred, ha! ha! human being are wicked ooo I have been used by him!!! if I had known I shouldn’t have followed him to go for the sacrifice oooo
“See where love have landed me. when I thought I have been living with a good person not knowing that he is a monster cloth in good form.
As I carried my baby bag, my phone rang and it turns out to be Fred calling.
“Why is he calling?
