Chapter 11
“Do not leave the house” He said audibly over the phone as he ended the call.
I don’t think he is alright for telling me not to leave. I blamed myself for this messed I put myself. I trusted him so much to the extent I don’t think twice before doing things for him. I carried my baby bag hurrying out of his house.
Definitely, he has noticed I entered the room. I stopped a taxi and told him to go to fajol estate which is where Aunty Susan live. I am just glad that she called me at the right time. The only thing I would do is just to apologise to her for shouting at her earlier. I don’t mind letting her know the child is her husband own even though I have lied to her at first.
I put my phone on silent as Fred kept calling repeatedly.

I can’t believe Chioma could eventually betrayed my trust in her. Why will she enter the room behind me!. I drove into the front of my house and hurried out immediately going inside to meet her and couldn’t see her.

“Shit!!!”. I bluffed out angrily.
I dial the Baba Number to let him know about what just happened as I explained to him.
“You shouldn’t be panick Fred. Just make sure you get her by all means and eliminate her before she exposed you” He said as I asked if her going into the secret room won’t affect me.
He laughed and said I should relaxed as she is the one whose life is even at stake right now that she would start going insane.
“Ha! Baba, you mean this is going to happen to her for going into the room?
“Yes. You know she’s already barren and her blood covenant from the sacrifice she did for you that would result to her sickness. So, just imagine her being barren and at the same time begins to fall sick as her blood dries away till she di*e. “He said.
“But, I thought you said as long as she lives with me my power will be restored and my riches will be increasing?” I asked.
“I said that to you because I knew she is living with you and it makes no sense for you to send her away at that moment because it will become obvious.
I now understand him and told him never to worry since it as nothing to do with me. But I will make sure I find her and eliminate her.
“But, there’s one thing ooo Fred in which you know. if she should have sexual intercourse with a married man, that will be the end of everything you have gathered and your charm will be destroy.” He said.
I answered him that I know and that’s why I’m going to look for her by all means before she ends up with any man. He ended the call and told me to be fast with whatever I intended to do and I must suspend my mission for now.
I don’t think she might even want to have anything doing with a married man again since I have gun down the one that impregnated her.
Chioma
I went on my knees as Aunty Susan embraced me after explaining everything to her. She was really happy that I could eventually come back to her after realizing the bondage I have set out for myself at this time.
“Let us go to the church, because there must be some cursed or repercussion in return. ” She said in which I couldn’t understand what is going on with me again.
CHURCH
I realized I would go off and by the time I come back to my Senses, it’s either I’m looking all tattered or looking at people around me terribly like a wild animal.
“The Lord shall deliver her and set her free in the name of Jesus”. The pastor said holding his Bible at me.
3 Days Later
I couldn’t recognize my child again as I have been tied up with rope because of my wildness. I cried and cried for God mercy for his deliverance.

it’s more than 4 days now that i couldn’t find Chioma, I even went to her madam house at night and couldn’t see them. And I have a very big task to take over tonight and I wouldn’t want to miss the big deal behind it.
“Fredo, how do we go about the assignment of chief Kingsley? are we not going for it again?” Samson asked parabulating with cigarettes in his mouth.
“are you blind or is it that, you don’t understand what is going on with me right now?” I shouted at him.
“But, we can still try our luck tonight na and still make it through. just forget that Baba saying jare, he might told you not to go for operation intentionally just because he wanted you to ki*LL that girl by force. Abi watin you think say I talk jaguwa?” Christina said looking at jaguwa and back to me.
“you know lie na, that man fit lie like that. shey you remember that day too wey will go for that operation for road kidnapping for that politician ehm’ ehm’ watin be that him name ooo…..”
“Mallam Sheriff! “. I answered him.
“yes!! you get am , abeg shey we nor go the operation successful? wey be say we even kidnapped plenty people sef.” He said as others murmured also trying to make me believe them.
“Well, no problem we will go.” I said as they all jubilated and they hail me continuously.
Chioma
She ran out of the church when others are asleep and was walking barefooted on the road behaving crazily. A hand suddenly grabbed her from behind at where she later sat and dragged her into the bush. She screamed, shouted and wailed as the person struggled with her. He finally had his way into her as he struck in repeatedly murmuring some incoherent words.
“I will deal with you today! you can’t dictate for me in my house never!”. He kept saying gibberish until Chioma suddenly push him away from her with force as he falls down flat on the ground.
“Jesus! what am I doing here? who’s this?” She looked around her and realized where she’s as the man staggered up to talk to her.
“A drunkard? on me!” She shouted angrily slapping the man face in annoyance.
The man got up stretching his hand at her telling her to count herself lucky as he left staggering away.
She looked all over her continuously and suddenly remembered she was in church for deliverance and wondered how she ended up being around the vicinity. She wore her skirt back and adjusted her top and covered her face as she made her way across the road to get a bike to go back to the church.

It came as a surprised to everyone in the church when I came back looking normal. Aunty Susan pastor told us to give God the praise because he has done the miraculous deliverance in his own way. I carried my baby happily as I hugged him thanking God for not making me an insane mother to him.
To crown it all two days later, it was announced on the news and social media that a notorious kidnapper and ritualist was caught during their operation and they have been detained at the station for their judgment. I was the most happiest person on earth seeing that news as I rejoiced around.
It came as a shocked to me when I saw it written that Fred confessed those he had ki*lled which includes my name which refer to my grandma. I jumped up in shocked as I rain curses on him for been responsible for my grandma de@th. Aunty Susan was still calming me down when she saw her husband name written also as we both shouted Jesus!!!.
“What did my husband do to him for ki*lling him? So, his de@th was not stroke. Ha! Fred it shall never be well with you! all your generation shall be render widow in their marriage! you will surely die in that cell, infact you will be sentenced to death by hanging in Jesus name!
My phone rang as I was called to come over to the station because I was been mentioned by Fred that I’m his acquittance, because my belongings was found in his house. Aunty Susan followed me as we headed out.
On getting to the station at KIRIKIRI custody. He was brought out in other to make his clarification if I’m one of his ganged. He looked at me with all his face swollen up already, He asked me if I went behind him to sleep with a married man after I left his house. I looked at him with so much anger and spattered on his face telling him he’s a monster and should be made to rot in hell.
“You acted decently and nice with me all along after kil”*ling my grandma and Aunty Susan husband. And you still have the effrontery to ask me foolish questions! you must be an idiot!! I mean a big idiot! I loved you wholeheartedly, I even trusted you to even Carry the nonsense sacrifice you lied to me about that, it won’t have effect on me! I hate you Fred! I hate you!!!!!” I shouted at him as he looked away without being remorseful.
“You hated me and you decided to push an unknown pregnancy at me! lying that I’m responsible for it when I know I’m impotent that can’t even produce a pin. you have your own plan when I decided to act smarter than you!!” He said angrily as I was shocked knowing he is impotent, we started exchanging words angrily.
I was led out from him because of how I was ranting on him.
“Don’t worry, he will be dealt with”. One of the policeman said.
We were standing at the front of the station when some people came down from a vehicle in which I was told they are his family. I was speechless seeing the lady he showed me on his Instagram whom he said to be his ex girlfriend coming towards us with a nose mask covering her nose. She was holding 2 children as I was expecting to see his mother and it turns out that it’s another mother I’m seeing.
“Could it be that he borrowed or hired a woman after my delivery while claiming her to be his mother to me. oh! Chioma!! you have been fooled totally.
“That’s his wife and their adopted children”. A female police said to me as I looked in surprised.
“So he’s married?” I muttered repeatedly.
I went back to Aunty Susan house and thank God that I was able to come out of his spell. It was said on the news that he got sentenced to de@t by hanging alongside with his fellow.
I was really happy that at last, he received what he deserved. I imagine if I eventually ended carrying the sacrifice doing my pregnancy that what would have become of me now if I loosed my child and render useless at the end of it or probably, who knows maybe I would have been de@d.
I just want to let it out here that you all should be wise and vigilant. it’s not everybody that is prophesying love to you that truly love you. I’m not saying there is no true love ooo but you should be prayerful. because a lot of young men out there are ready to do anything or going to any length to have this money.
I’m glad that I have my son with me even though I was told I couldn’t be pregnant again unless God intervene. if I had abort my pregnancy then, I would have been alone in distress and heartbroken. lastly, to Everyman out there, most especially the married men. Please stop deceiving young girls and forcefully raping them. The same thing goes to women, Yes’ women also rape and I am pleading to you all to stop the act of RAPING my own case might end up this way. But remember you also have a family, and you wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone of them.
I neglected the words of the madman that says DON’T DO IT. If I had listened to him and think about it. I don’t think I would be where I’m today. But everything worked according to God’s plan, just pray that yours should be in your favour.
I’m now in Canada with Aunty Susan as she had offered to sponsored me to go to school and start my life afresh. I have a lot of things to be regretted for in my life but, I have dumped it and face the future.
