THE ADVENTURE OF AKOR
Episode 25

Immediately I saw him coming I ran into my and locked the door, I was so scared and still in disbelief of what just happened… I went and carried my Bible and anointing oil… I began to drink the anointing oil while declaring psalm 91.
After praying,I felt relieved and I convinced myself that it was my imagination and whatsoever I saw was not real, I managed to take my bath and somehow I slept off…
I woke up the next day feeling so empty because of Akor’s absence and the thought that he was in the hospital made it worse… I went to the hospital and saw that Akor was awake but very weak. I asked if he was hungry and he said yes… I went and bought him coke and bread…
Akor saw the coke and bread and had the gut to tell me “is this what you want a sick person to eat”? I looked at him and didn’t even know the befitting answer to give to him. I gave him the coke and bread and left to sit in the waiting room…
While I was at the waiting room… They rushed in a female patient, she was very strong and was beating the ward attendants… But some how she looked at me and smiled. Immediately she smiled at me, the nurse with them quickly approach me that it seems there’s a chemistry between the two of us… Immediately he said that I grabbed him by his shirt and told him not to ever make such statement again in his life… “Which kind badluck be this one this early morning?” I asked him but he calmly left. when I try to sit down I felt like I sat on something… I turned back and noticed I sat on the mad woman… I jumped and screamed. The attendants rushed to where I was and we’re acting as if there were not aware she was there… They dragged her inside a room and her mother came and met me…
She said, my son, Martha has been like this after she lost her father… Immediately she had the death of her father, she lost her senses. There was someone that usually help us to calm her down but we lost the person too… Seeing the way she reacted when she saw you meant likeness. She likes you my son and I want you to help me with her sometimes.
I listened to her carefully and felt pity on her, I told her okay… I will do my best. I was still talking to her when the nurse called her that her daughter is stable and she will be up in few hours, I saw how relieved she was and I felt for her…
After some time, I went to check on Akor but saw him sleeping… I turned my eyes to the fourth bunk in the room and saw one madman there twerking. I was staring in amazement when he turned abruptly and saw that I was staring at him, he started licking his lips and using his hands to tell me to come…
I picked my slippers in my hands and off I go… I ran into the waiting room and the security asked me what was chasing me and I told him one of their brother is twerking in the ward, he laughed and told me I am a very lucky guy, that almost all the mad people in their hospital likes me… What do you mean by that? Don’t ever say that again.
After few hours, Martha woke up and she was a bit stable but refused to eat, the mother brought her to the waiting room to sit and watch TV… She was still rejecting her food when I walked up to them and told her to eat her food… She pointed at me and said “husband” the mother said yes and she started smiling and eating her food… I left them and went and stood outside to receive fresh air when the mother called me by saying… “Your wife has refused to eat” I immediately told her, madam I don’t like this joke at all… Which one is my wife na. The stupid security man was busy laughing and tearing up.
I left the premises and decided to take a walk but one of the attendant came and told me the doctor has come and would like to have a word with me, I went there and saw the doctor… He led me into Akor’s ward and told me that my friend is stable now and fit to go home,Akor was very happy… I asked if we can go, the doctor handed over a note to me and told me our bill is 86,500… Immediately Akor had this, he told the doctor “oga I never well oooo” the doctor looked at him and said my friend nothing is wrong with you… While we were talking I saw Agnes walk in with a cooler of food. The doctor excused us and Agnes ask why we look so sad. I gave her the bill but she smiled and said “this is nothing now” she left with the bill and came back after some minutes with the receipt… I and Akor was dumbfounded. She gave us the receipt and told us she will see us at home. I quickly took the receipt to the cashier and he discharged us… We got home and saw Agnes mopping her room, we went to her to thank her but she told us she doesn’t know what we are talking about… That the only thing she knows is that she saw a lady moving her things into Akor’s room some minutes ago…

Episode 26

Akor went closer to Agnes and asked her to repeat herself… She told him exactly what she said earlier and Akor sat on the ground and started saying “I am finished”
I replied him ” you are not finished my friend, be a man”… Akor replied me
“I am not a man Peter, if this is the price of what it means to be a man then I don’t want again, what have I done to deserve all this? Is this not my life? I have the right to be with as many ladies as I want and no spirit has the right to disturb me, there is absolutely no relationship between light and darkness”
Wait Akor, please who is the light? Shey you are not referring to your self abi?
Peter I am the light, and remember the Bible said “judge not” why trying to judge me? Are you my God? Are you a creator? or are you deity? The Bible said touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm… Akor said
Shuuuuuuu I screamed, na dream I the dream abi na wetin… Akor quoting scriptures? Since you know who you are please go inside… To my surprise Akor, walked past me and headed straight to his room, I stood there dumbfounded because the Akor I know is too scared to do this…
AKOR’S POV
Which kind one I put myself like this, I said to myself as I was walking into the room… I can’t embarrass myself now that I have quoted all this scripture trying to show them I am not scared, this annoying girl called Agnes even brought chair and sat to watch.
I entered into my room and checked everywhere but they was nobody there. I quickly rushed into the bathroom to bath but while I was still washing myself with foam all over my body I heard a female voice laughing hard outside the bathroom, I taught my ears were deceiving me or maybe it’s because I was running water. I put off the water and this time around I heard footsteps approaching me really fast, the steps were so close to each other making the sound to be so scary…
I jumped out of the bathroom with the foam all over my body, thanks God for my towel that was very close by, I took the towel and started screaming and running, before I even ran out of my room I saw peter at the gate already and when Agnes saw me, she jumped to her feet and took off… I was running after peter and telling him to run to the hospital.
I ran to the hospital gate and the securities didn’t even wait for me to explain myself but bundled me and took me to the psychiatric ward, I think they acted that way because my face was already familiar…
The attendant saw me and were scolding why I came back… I told them I am seeing ghost and pleaded with them to believe me and help me if they can. They told me they know someone that can help me.
One of the security man made a call and told me I am lucky the person he called is within the hospital premises. I was so happy and thanked them.
After a while the man came and from every indication he was a pastor. He prayed for me and while praying he gave a prophecy that there’s a woman that I willingly accepted into my life… I told him everything that happened and he asked me to take him to My house, we left the hospital and got to my house and the pastor started praying… With my two eyes like this I saw real smoke coming out of my kitchen, the pastor continued praying and the smoke changed to Belial, she ask the pastor why the pastor is trying to come in between us… The pastor asked me if I have a relationship with her and I said no… The pastor told her to leave my life and told her she is banished forever. She looked at me with a sad face and at this point a fraction of me felt really sad and I wished she was human
I will go but only you can bring me back and she said and disappeared, we heard the door banged behind us. The pastor told me she is gone and that I should go and sin no more! I thanked him and he left.
Immediately the pastor left I saw peter coming to the house with some of the attendants from the hospital and security men, I asked what the problem was and they told us they just checked and realized we didn’t pay the hospital bill….
“Akor, call Belial tell her say she no pay the bill well na”, Peter said.
I told him “one pastor just banish her from this place ooo”…
Peter screamed “trouble”
