“do you realize I left the carnival because of you when Emeka won’t let me be. she said angrily backing me.
I got down from the rock and started begging her not to mind Emeka because I told him not to disturb her if she doesn’t want to come.

she collected the rose from me and then hugged me telling me to be truthful with her in which I nodded my head. she then asked if I will be telling my grandmother about it.
“no, I can’t for now okay. but, very soon I will let her know about us. you know how rigid my grandma is now. I said why she nodded her head affirming it.
I then asked if she will be telling her parent also as she said she can’t either or else she’s ready to be disown.
“then what do we do?. I asked.
“don’t worry we can be coming to see along this way every Tuesday and Friday evening around 7pm.
“is that not too late for you?. I asked.
“it’s not as I always visit my aunty those two days in which I can go home anytime after helping her finished her home chores because she just put to bed.
I was really happy that she could find time out for us to see but the problem now with me is my grandma where will I tell her that I’m going or what can I come up with to leave before that Time.

“I’m thinking about you. I said as she laughed while we hold hands walking together back to the village square.
we suddenly heard her name called from behind and looked back seeing her father coming from where we were coming from as he is seen carrying a big bush meat.
“what are you two doing together holding hands? . he asked looking at us as we kept mute.
“are you two deaf!. he said shouting at us.

he calmed her down to talk instead of stammering as he smiled at her. I was like ehn! this one that he is smiling I hope he’s not going to deal with her when she gets home.

he draw her closer to him as I almost jumped at his front thinking he wanted to beat her.

I left her as I walked away joyfully bidding her bye. I went back to where I left my grandma and couldn’t see her there I was shocked hoping she hasn’t caught us. I suddenly heard my grandmother calling out my name from behind as I ran about looking for her. immediately she saw me she began to question me my whereabouts that she has asked Emeka and he said he doesn’t know my whereabouts.

AT NIGHT.
I was dreaming seeing myself in a full long hair as same with Ada as she pulls me over into a wide stream as she sang and danced while I kept blushing while we ran around then I decided to pour water on her in which she suddenly screamed and her leg turned into a mermaid tail. I also screamed and suddenly began to catch cold as she walked closer to me telling me not to panick. immediately she hugged me the coldness left and my body became calm.
