Episode 14
“Noel stop that, stop pretending. You want to tell me you are innocent.?” Mary flared up.
“Mary is so unfair to think I will be behind this, what will I gain?”
“You heard all I said yesterday didn’t you?, and today, you are using them against me plus the fact that you know Madam Ben.”
“Mary I won’t argue with you, but God will vindicate me”
The caregiver rushed to her man friend, “see what I heard today.” He showed him the poster,
“Is that true she has a child for you.” She asked angrily
“Is not what you think..” He tried to defend himself
“You are a shameless man, you impregnated your step daughter”
“Stop! don’t shout at me you this harlot, are you not the one who sold her to the sex trafficker, I heard your conversation with her, asking why she let her go, why will you do that to my step daughter”
“I will expose you shameless man”
Mary’s step dad beat her up till she became unconscious.
Neighbors called the police, he was arrested while the caregiver was taken to the hospital.
Madam Cecilia was seen roaming the street, her son caleb died after barking like a dog for hours. She herself turned a beggar.
“Mary stop keeping malice with me, stop avoiding me, I don’t know anything about those posters, If you will listen to me, I will advice you write an article about yourself, publish it. Whatever you revealed will no longer be a secret, and will not be used against you. One more thing, find your mother forgive her, I know is difficult, but for your own peace of mind, please” Noel begged
“Okay I’ve heard you. I will write everything now, and ensure is published three days time, which happens to be my birthday”
“Very good” Noel smiled.
Rachel and Elijah tried all they could to ensure Rebecca did not go to prison, she had already lost her pregnancy due to the tortures. Rachel and Elijah visited Nathan’s family begging them to let go of the case.
“We promise to stand in place of Nathan, what he can’t do when he’s alive, we will do more than that for you” they begged intensively.
After much plea Nathan’s mother accepted to cancel the case.
“I leave her to face God wrath”
Rebecca was released, she appreciated Rachel and Elijah.
“Thanks for standing by me, and Elijah just want to let you know I’m now a changed person, if there’s a second chance I will appreciate it”
Is Mary’s birthday celebration, everyone thrived to attend.
“We can’t wait to hear her own side of the story” They said.
She narrated her story, all the congregations where so sorry for her, some in tears.
“You can’t predict the future, that child you neglected, that child you hated so much, that child you called a dullard, might be the pillar in the future. And if you are here under the sound of my voice, you’re sure God has called you, please answer the call, don’t decline.
You think what he has called you to do is beyond you? well, that’s God for you, he will call you to do something that is bigger than yourself, irrespective of your past, your background, your charisma or your ability.
Just look at me, God had me do things for which there’s no human explanation. I can’t point to my ministry and tell you that is blessed because of my great talent or ability. As a matter of fact, If I were God, I wouldn’t have chosen me.” She broke down in tears.
The Audience cheered her up.
“One more thing the people will want to know before we leave” the moderator cleared her throat
“Are you in a relationship?”
She smiled, “No still waiting for Mr right”
Elijah walked out from the crowed. Mary’s face brightened up immediately.
“Mary I know you are surprised to see me, I’m here to ask for your forgiveness”
“You did not offend me, oh I’m glad to see you again, thanks for all you do”
“I offended you Mary” He went on his kneels “I wouldn’t have done what I did, I thought you are married and I was jealous. I’m behind the propaganda.”
“What! Why? That’s not true, you don’t know Madam Ben. Do you?”
“After my wedding ceremony got crashed, I searched for you. I met the Doctor, he directed me to the rehab center, there I met the caregiver, she said nothing good about you, she said I should forget about you, that you are a sex trafficker, then she sent me the picture as a prove, it was the same picture I attached the poster.”
“Why did you do that, I was busy praying to God to preserve you for me” she could not hold back her tears.
“I have replaced him long time ago…” The holy spirit whispered to Mary.
Noel clapped his hands and all attention was shifted to him..
“You see now, that I deserve an apology.”
“I’m Sorry”
“Don’t be” Noel wiped her tears and proposed to her right there.

Mary made peace with her mother. But she lost her to death a month after her wedding with Noel. Her marriage was blessed with two beautiful kids.
Mary step father was charged for the death of the Caregiver. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Elijah eventually took Rebecca has his wife. They became one of the ministers under Saint Mary’s Ministry.
Saint Mary Noel performed thousands of miracle in her lifestyle, and at her old age the mantle was passed to her daughter; Rosemary.
