SAINT MARY

Episode 9
Mary began preparations to travel abroad.
The caregiver collected all the money given to her in the name of helping her to get a quick visa.
“Mary your flight kicks off tomorrow make sure you did not miss it”
“Wow, thank you ma, thank you Jesus” she sang praises to God.
She woke up as early as possible the next morning to catch up with her flight.
Mary landed in Europe many hours later, she waited in the embassy for Madam Ben as instructed.
“Hello, are you Mary?”
“Yes ma”
“Mary the healer, I’ve heard so much about you, let’s go” She drove her away, then sniffed a substance on her, that made her fall asleep.
Mary’s Stepfather was healed as well. He refused to return to the village.
“I can’t go back to the village where they mocked me” He left for the city.
Rebecca had been feeling sick for some weeks, Her friend took her to the hospital for a body check-up.
“Doctor, how is it?”
“Is a good news your friend is few weeks gone, I mean she’s pregnant”
“Pregnant?” Rebecca placed her two hands on her head
Her friend dragged her out of the Doctor’s office
“Rebecca how come”
“Mr. Deji has ruined my life, you know I had a carryover in his course, he asked me to sleep with him so he can rule out the carryover, Rachel I don’t want to have extra year that’s why I accepted” she cried
“Too bad, a whole sister coordinator, what will you do now? If you are going to protect your image then you have to terminate it.”
“That’s not possible the last one I did almost took my life.”
“Then tell Mr. Deji about it.?”
“I can’t be a third wife, Mr. Deji has two wives already, Rachel my Dad will kill me he does not support premarital affairs.
Yes I have a plan” she wiped her tears immediately
“What is the plan?”
“I will force the pregnancy on Elijah”
“Wait, has he ever had intercourse with you?”
“No, but I will make it happen”
“Rebecca this is dangerous.”
“I don’t have a choice.”

Mary woke up hours later.
“Where am I,” she asked looking around the empty room
Madam Ben and a man walked in.
“Turn around…” She instructed
“Turn around for what?”
“How dare you question my order” she slapped her
“I say turnaround!”
She obeyed tearfully
“I don’t like her,” the man said.
She brought another and he said the same thing.
All the men she brought in rejected Mary.
She threatened to kill her and sell her body parts if no one comes for her in the next 48 hours.
Mary cried bitterly, praying to God to bring someone who will rescue her.
“God you have always shown up for me, show up stronger this time”
Rebecca called Elijah and lied she had stomachache
“Please come to my rescue I’m dying oh my stomach” she screamed
“Mama I’m coming please stop crying” he started dressing up
“Elijah where are you going this time? Is late already, past 10?” His roommate questioned him
“Mama just called now, I think she needs help”
“And so what??”
“I’m going to check up on her” Elijah rushed out
Mary continued praying for her freedom, she heard a loud voice saying “The time is now!” And Immediately her eyes were opened she began to see visions.
“Madam Ben your only child is suffering from cancer” she said
“What!” Madam Ben expressed shock “Who told you?”
“I saw it, she’s currently in the hospital, preparing for another surgery. If you believe and you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour, then she will be healed. Her sickness is a result of your atrocities.”
Madam Ben became mute, staring at Mary with amusement.
“Who are you!”
“I’m Mary but the greatest physician lives in me”
She bowed soberly in tears
“My daughter was diagnosed with cancer of the liver last year, she has been told she have few months to live.”
“Are you ready to accept Jesus?”
She nodded in agreement
She prayed with her
“Your daughter is healed now!
One more thing, you must make restitution with all the ladies you have destroy their lives”
Madam Ben was still crying when the Doctor called to inform her, her daughter is cancer free
She hugged Mary begging for her forgiveness.

Rebecca added sleeping pills to a drink before Elijah arrived.
“Mama what happened?”
“I nearly died but I’m fine now”
“You should have called me back that you are fine” He turned back to leave
“Stop you can’t leave like that, relax for some seconds” she gave him the drink “cool yourself with this” Elijah drank without hesitating.
He woke up the following morning to see himself on the same bed with Rebecca, naked.
“Jesus what have I done?” He lamented
