Evening***
I laid down on my bed and was ready to sleep when Julie’s voice came out.
I thought she was asleep. Her face was on her wall, with her body laying on the bed by the side.
“Rose?” She called.
“Yeah, Julie?” I replied.
“What do you study? I’m a chemistry student” She told me.
“I study philosophy” I replied.
Julie looked at me and smiled.
“Cool. You know philosophist are supposed to be wise since they are lovers of wisdom. They ought to have sense,, alongside logic” She told me.
I blinked my eyes.
“I’m not a philosophist” I told her.
Julie chuckled.
“That’s what you be called since you study philosophy. I can be called a chemist since I study chemistry” She said.
I shook my head.
“A philosophist is a person who pretends to be wise. Instead of philosophist,, we call ourselves Philosopher. That’s the real and true word”
Julie’s forehead brought out deep wrinkles.
“Oh…” She muttered.
“Have a nice sleep then. I’m getting really sleepy” She told me.
“Me too” I replied.
“Have a good sleep” I added.
“Sweet dreams, Rose” She said, and turned over again.
“You too, Julie” I said, before dozing off.
Next Morning***
I was able to ask around for where my other course mates were. I eventually made friends with two people by name, Lily and Vin.
They were friends already. I even wondered how a guy and girl were able to be friends without falling in love. To me, it was rubbish cause I thought even if they don’t date, they might have s*x sometimes.
Friends with benefits as they would call them…
They took me to where the class was holding and also met with the course representative who took my number and added me to the WhatsApp class group.
I slowly entered the huge hall with Lily linking her arm with mine. Vin’s hands were tucked inside his trousers pockets as he entered.
“Here,, let’s seat down here, Rose” She told me, pointing at an empty row of seat.
I nodded and walked with her. We sat down and I ended up sitting in between Vin and Lily.
Class hasn’t yet started so I decided to while away time by asking them few questions.
“Lily?” I called.
“Hmm?” She replied, and looked at me.
“I wanna ask about you both… can I?” I asked, pointing at Vin.
Vin and Lily exchanged glances before looking at me.
“Ask away… though I’m not surprised,, Philosophers ask a lot of questions” She chuckled.
Lily was cute. She has a baby like attitude and face. Her face was small with a bit of plump cheeks.
Vin is handsome. He’s average in height,, unlike Lily who is really short. He looks a bit introverted,, just like me.
“For how long have you been friends?” I asked, softly.
Lily blinked her eyes.
“It’s been a year now” She answered.
“Oh” I nodded.
“Was that what you wanted to ask?” Vin asked.
I looked at him and nodded.
“Yeah… yeah”
Soon, a lot of students began to flock into the hall like they planned it.
“Wait. Are these ones also studying philosophy?” I asked, staring at the people who rushed in.
“Nope. They are English students… I guess they computer lecturer didn’t show up today again” Lily said.
“Oh. We are supposed to have computer?” I asked.
Lily nodded.
“English students are supposed to have computer as well but since they teacher is absent, they might have it with us” She further explained and I nodded.
“Hey, dude…” I heard a familiar voice say.
I quickly turned around to see Axel. He was looking at Vin but when I turned to him, he looked back at me and gave a quick smile.
“Huh? What’s he doing here?” Lily freaked out.
I looked away. What does he want! Oh wait,, He wants my p*ssy again. He’s such a luna*tic.
“Go to the other side. I wanna sit here” He told Vin.
Vin inhaled deeply and stood up. I quickly held his arm.
“Seat” I said.
“No, I’m fine” Vin said, and took my hand off. He went to Lily and sat close to her.
*Well, I don’t care if you’re fine, Vin I’m the one who isn’t fine here*
“Hey, Rose” He muttered to my ear. His lips even touched the tip of my ear.
I felt my whole body vibrate. I just took my eyes to the front and that was when the lecturer, a woman with glasses walked in.
On the other hand, Axel kept on disturbing me, calling my name in class and whispering all kinds of s*xual things that I almost felt wet.
I could hardly concentrate in class.
After Class***
“Lily. Leave without me. I wanna check something out. You can go with Vin” I told her.
She nodded and followed Vin away.
I went after Axel and pulled him somewhere hidden.
“I wanna warn you” I started, glaring hard at him.
He only raised his brows.
“Leave me alone! Please, leave me! You’re my roommate boyfriend for crying out loud. I don’t want to have anything to do with you, got it?”
He chuckled.
“You didn’t guess why I came late for lecture, this morning?” He asked.
“I don’t care so why would I ask?”
“I f*cked her already,, so it’s over between Julie and I”
“What?”
“She knows already… I don’t last with girls. I simply f*ck and leave. She wanted to get f*cked too”
“You aren’t ashamed?”
“Why should I?” He scoffed.
“No one asked them to offer their p*ssies when they know I’m gonna leave them”
I blinked my eyes.
“I’m leaving. Just stay away from me… Far way” I said, and made to go away.
However, he drew me back and pulled me closer by my waist, close to his body.
I swallowed hard. I felt butterflies all over.
“I know you want me. I’m irresistible” He whispered.
I said nothing. My eyes were locked with his handsome and glowing face.
“Do you wanna be my s*x partner?” He asked and I quickly pushed him off.
