🧸🧸EPISODE 3🧸🧸

“Run”, that was the last word my Dad muttered to me before he fell to his death. His last word still rings in my ear anytime I remember him and the scene that led to his death.

Losing two very close person the same night, the same time, at the same place and seeing so much blood on them is surely more than what a ten year old girl like me could bear. The sight was just so much for me to behold.

I was almost at the verge of puking after seeing my sister’s slitted neck when the teddy bear advanced towards me with his hands raised in the air. He was just about to stab me to my own death when my mother knocked the teddy bear with a shoe from the back and it flew over me.

My mother grabbed me and raised me up from the ground and without asking me a further question, she pulled me towards her room and locked us inside it.

The teddy bear came after us with full speed but my Mum was also faster than him. We got into the room before he could get to us and my mum was quick to lock it.

“What happened to your sister”?, My mum asked me in an attempt to compound her fear and surprise. “And what happened to your father”, She added immediately.

“I don’t understand mummy. We were just silently playing with the teddy bear when it turned into something else and killed my sister and….”.

I was still explaining to my mum when a loud bang landed on the door, interrupting my explanation.

“Open the door, you d*mn fools and offer your lives silently to me without restraining”, the teddy bear shouted from the other side of the door and the thickness of his voice sent a bit of shiver down my spine.

“If you so much desire our lives, come and take it. You d*mned bear”, My Mum fired back immediately.

I was apparently taken back by her fierceness and boldness. I wasn’t expectingit.

“You are going to explain everything to me after we are done with this monster”, My mum said to me while drawing me to herself. I could see a bit of tear drops forming on her face too as she held me tightly to her bosom.

Another loud bang restored us back to reality and it was as if this bang unbolted a screw in my Mum’s brain because she stood up immediately and grabbed a small tiny rod that was lying under the bed.

She pulled me up and we both moved nearer to the door with the rod still in her hands. It was as if the teddy bear was able to see through the door because he knocked it open immediately we got to the door. We almost fell over, but mu mum was strong enough to hold me.

My mum didn’t waste any more time in shoving the rod right into his skull. Oops, teddy bear doesn’t have a skull. She shoved the rod right into his foamy head and this made him staggered back a little and it lost his balance.

He removed the rod easily from his head as if it was nothing and he started laughing hysterically.

“Fire, we have to use fire”, my mum kept on whispering as if an angel has whispered a solution to her.

She pulled me with her to the kitchen and the teddy bear followed us immediately with the knife still in his hands. It was as if we were running in a game of “temple run” because we were literally running for our lives.

My mum immediately lighted all the four burners on the gas immediately we got into the kitchen and she waited patiently for the teddy bear to get to us.

Though, my mum was quick but she wasn’t so lucky when the teddy bear got to us.

He stabbed her right in her stomach immediately he got to our side and it also opened a chance for my mum to destroy it. She carried the teddy bear effortlessly from the ground and put it on the fire.

She held the teddy bear on the four burners till it started burning and writhing in pain.

“Run, run, run”, my mum kept on whispering till she fell on her knees and breathed her last.
