THE PRICE FOR CHANGE
Chapter 8
When Jude open the door,he couldn’t recognize Beatrice anymore. She had grown thin over night and was looking so cranky. She asked him where her children were. That was when jude recalled he had dropped them at school and asked what time they usually closed.
Beatrice told him it was already an hour past the closing time. He rushed to his room, put on some clothes and rushed out. Beatrice didn’t know what was going on. She crawled to the kitchen and looked for bread and started eating for strength.
She was done eating and had a little strength but she went into the children’s room but couldn’t find them. She started wailing when Jude’s side chick heard her cries and ran out to check.
She met her crying and was pacifying her.
Jude had earlier told her Beatrice was his sister when she saw her picture and asked.
Beatrice was inconsolable as she couldn’t understand if Jude was so heartless to hurt his on children. She was busy crying when she heard the parlor door opening she rushed to attack Jude but was surprised to see her children in school uniforms that was when it became clear to her why Jude was asking after their closing time earlier.
She was so happy to see her children that the pains she was feeling disappeared. They asked her why she was crying but she lied and said something entered her eyes and took them to go changed their clothes .
Jude was shocked to see his side chick together with Beatrice. He was still processing if Beatrice has told her the truth when she walked to him and wrapped her hands around him and told him they should go inside for another round before she leaves cause she was running late.
She even praised him for helping his sister out with the kids and cursing on the man who abandoned her sister in such states. But Jude cover her mouth with a kiss and told her not to curse the guy.
Beatrice prepared food for everyone cause she didn’t want any trouble anymore. When Jude was done he was surprised to see the dining table set and a note to thank his side chick for consoling her earlier today though she never wrote the word side chick on the paper.
Jude made sure they ate faster as he never wanted madam Sylvia to see her. When they were done, he send her off and returned to the house. He went straight to Beatrice room to asked her why she never threw a tantrum this time around.
He was surprised to find Beatrice sleeping peacefully on the bed . He tapped her to wake up. And he asked her.
Beatrice told him never to come close to her. That he irritates her and thank him for paying people to beat and r@ped her.
He was shocked to hear the r@ped part, he never told them to sleep with her. He needed to find out who instructed them to do such but then he realized only madam Sylvia could do such. He couldn’t imagine those thugs ravaging his own wife.
He went back to his room and waited patiently for Madam Sylvia to arrived . She came back very late looking wasted but he still confronted her and she admitted it was her and she don’t regret anything.
Jude wanted to send her out of his house but she transferred a huge amount of money to him asking him to make Love to her and before Jude could open his mouth she removed all her clothes and that was all it could take for her to get Jude to forget about his wife.
They bang each other all night. And Beatrice was surprised to see them acting like love birds. She had thought to her self Jude still care when she saw the anger in his face but now she finally knows she meant nothing to him. He was not going to stopped.
She prepared breakfast for everyone and took her kids with her. Though it was weekend, she couldn’t leave her kids in the house. She needed to go to the hospital for check up and get good painkillers cause her body wasn’t giving.
