“It’s fine dear. Say it” Toluwani prodded him on like she wasn’t worried but deep down inside her she was already burning with fears wondering if he was in a huge debts or having some emergency family problems.
“T-baby, what i want to ask you is—hmmmm” he sighed heavily and continued. “Since i won again, i want to ask you to kiss me”. He smeared his face with smiles. Toluwani couldn’t hold her nostalgic feelings. She was happy and unhappy at the same time, she gently pushed him asking if he wants to see the death of her. As they both laughed, she drew him closer, he moved closer and she touched his lips with her fingers. “You almost gave me a heart attack, she said as she kissed him again and again. Yinka gently stroked her hairs, rubbed her shoulders and kiss£d her from lips to her neck. She surrendered herself to him as she slowly fell to the ground as he held her w@ist kissing her neck, her chest and eventually putting his mouth against her succulent bre@stss. Fumilayo had secured a teaching job recently. Last time Yinka went to the office to pick up Toluwani because her car had a fault. George was very hostile towards him, Yinka never knew George, nor his unrequited love story.
“Please do you know where Toluwani Akimbode office is?” Yinka asked George unknowingly. George knew Yinka, he had seen his picture on Tolu’s phone during their trip last time.
“she has closed and gone home” he replied. He knew that was rather childish and uncalled for but what’s life of a man in love without childishness.
“I just spoke with her, she said she was in the office” Yinka muttered.
“Eh? Who are you by the way?”
“I’m Yinka, Toluwani is my wife to be”.
“Wife to what!!”George grinned glaring at him like he was about to swallowed a human being.
“Oh Mr Yinka, her office is that way, the last door my the right ” he intentionally misdirected him. He felt so good, he smiled for the first time since morning. The last office by the right in the direction he gave was the toilet. Yinka couldn’t fathom what in the world was wrong with that young man.
“Sir, that was really unnecessary” Toluwani told George but he smirked with satisfaction. Yinka asked who he was.
“he’s the man i refused because of you, he’s a director here”.
“Oh I see” Yinka wasn’t surprised anymore he wasn’t going to forgive him that easily.
Before everyone at the front of the gate including George, Yinka kissed Toluwani on the lips, she couldn’t hold her laugher. “How can you men be so petty” she said in a low voice as she kissed him back. Everybody except George gushes with smiles. “I go love oo” Jessica echoed.
During their three months anniversary, Yinka proposed to Toluwani, without hesitation, she accepted it. “the last three months has been some of the happiest moments in my life, i don’t have a family or money but with you I’m sure i will have a beautiful family and the little money i make will be appreciated. Please will you marry me!”. Yinka had proposed. Toluwani accepted it jubilantly, she was sincerely happy and grateful Yinka haven’t disappointed him so far.
When two people in a relationship are not too wise and are not after gain and loose, such relationship will blossom beyond the reach of a devil.
“Over my dead body Toluwani, not when I’m alive will you marry your security guard. Among all the men in the world, he’s the only one you can find. Despite all the education and the good career you have built, you can’t find a better person to compliment your achievements, it’s your security guard who has no single family for support that you wished to marry. Eh young man, I know your kind, you’re looking for someone to leech on and you think she’s the gullible one. You can’t marry my daughter” Toluwani’s mother flared up like an unpinned grenade.
