……”What did you dream, please tell me cause you’re scaring me already,” Catherine said feeling frightened
“Hmmm my child “ her mother breathed heavily
“Mom what is it na, please talk to me,” Catherine said whining
“When last did you pray and have a fellowship with God en Catherine, “ her mother asked and she kept quiet
“ you see, I knew this dream was not ordinary and there must be something you are not doing right,” said her mom
“Mama I’m sorry is just school stress and classes here and there that’s why, “ Catherine said feeling sorry
“ no problem but please be careful and most of all be prayerful it is not everything that glitters that is gold,” said her mom
“ I will mama, but please what did u dream” Catherine asked still wanting to know
“ Don’t worry God revealed it so we can take precautions I have prayed against it already and I just need you to be focused “ her mother said reassuring her that everything was fine even though she dreamt that Catherine passed away
“Okay Mom I promise to heed to all you have said, “ Catherine said with a smile and her mother said a short prayer with her before hanging up

Catherine could not sleep again since it was almost dawn, her mom had been right all along she tried to think back to when she went to church last or even prayed but she could not remember it had always been from one excuse to another
“I need to get back on my feet with God, “ she said to herself. That evening she made sure she attended her weekly fellowship and her hope came alive
“Hey fine Bobo what’s up na” Sammy said to a guy on the phone smiling
“I’m good this one you are hailing me hope I’m safe and by the way why haven’t you been to class this week, for over a month now I can count the number of times you have attended classes, it’s really not nice, “ Patrick said to her
Patrick has been friends with Sammy since their very first year in school they actually met during their registration period and they bonded almost immediately
Patrick is from a wealthy home and being the only child he was well taken care of and lacked virtually nothing he had a car and was considered a rich kid even though he was very humble and never joked with his studies
He has been a great friend and more like a brother to Sammy he has tried talking to her to stop the kind of life she was leaving but she wouldn’t listen “You are from a rich home where you have everything at your beck and call and I bet you will never understand where I’m coming from “ those where are exact words to him on several occasions
“Don’t worry about me, okay, I have my way around my studies so you chill, “ Sammy said rolling her eyes
“Sorry boss lady, don’t be offended,” Patrick said jokingly
“The party I told you about is in three days and please don’t fall my hand oh, you know you’re a fine boy so I want you to lure my friend to bed with your charms, “ said Sammy
“Hmmm I will try to attend but luring your friend to bed is what I can’t guarantee, “ said Patrick
“You know you owe me right so you obviously can’t deny my request besides it will be for her good, “ said Sammy
“You are very pathetic oh, how can luring someone to bed be for her good, you must be Dululu,” Patrick said surprised at was she just said
“See you won’t understand okay, so just let me handle everything, “ Sammy said rolling her eyes “anyways I will try and drop by later “
Sammy said and eventually hung up
Catherine and her roommate were now in taking terms even though she refused them to talk out the clash they had
One faithful evening they strolled out to get some fruits on their way back a car kept horning and trying to get their attention but they just ignored it, eventually, the gentleman parked his car and came to them
“Hi pretty lady, good evening please can I get a minute of your time” the handsome-looking man said to Catherine
Catherine thought he was coming for her friend but was surprised it was her attention he needed, well she gave him a listening ear and they eventually exchanged contact after several pleas from him
“Mehn that boy is fine oh, you do catch fine Bobo oh,” Esther said teasing her friend
“You are just too funny besides he said he just wanted to be friends that’s all, “ Catherine said as they walked back home after she declined him dropping them off
The next day being Friday in the evening Sammy came to see Catherine with a lot of goody bag

“Xup baby girl” Catherine greeted sitting on her bed as she dropped the items on the floor
“ I’m good dear, always shinning, “ Catherine said admiring her hair
“I brought your clothes and shoes for the party tomorrow and some groceries for you including chocolate, “ Sammy said smiling as she handed the stuff to her
“Oh it’s really this weekend, thank you “ Catherine said a bit unease as she looked through the stuff
“Yes na, sha I have been reminding you don’t Come and fall my hand o, you know we have been planning this for long, “ Sammy said with a frown
“ I know okay, ah you get angry too quick, “ Catherine said teasing her she promised to show up and after a while, Sammy left
The evening of the party Sammy sent the address and also some money for her to book a ride, she took her bath and tried to wear what Sammy gave her but it was just too tight and short all her curves were exposed and she was not comfortable at all
“Ah, I can’t wear this oh, “ Catherine said picking up her phone to call Sammy
