….While going home she brought her phone out and dialed a contact “Hey what’s up, I told you she was naive and was going to fall” Sammy said laughing out
Just then she accidentally hit someone on the shoulders and she just waved at the person and left unknown to her it was Catherine’s roommate who just stood scanning her from head to toe to be sure of who she just saw
She was shocked to see her in the hostel and to worsen her curiosity she saw her leave her room. Esther quickly rushed to her room when Sammy was not in view
“Babe Xup, this one you smiling so, did you win a jackpot “ Esther said when she entered the room and met her smiling
“Oh, you’re back, welcome, “ Catherine said adjusting herself
“ you still have not answered my question by the way,” Esther said sitting down on her bed
“ It’s nothing jare” Catherine just laughed out loud
“I saw a very popular face in school leave this room when she accidentally bumped into me, do you by any chance know her “ Esther quizzed
“Oh you mean Sammy she is my friend, “Catherine said with a smile
“What,! Your friend how? That girl is a big shot in this school, every single person knows her name how on earth did u know her “ Esther asked with her eyes popping out, she never imagined her roommate of all people would be friends with someone like that
“Woh slow down, we grew up together and we have been friends for ages “ Catherine let out written by Annie Alex
“ then why are you disguising as a poor man’s child, you can barely feed in this room just take a look at what you are wearing it can be likened to rags sorry to say, “ Esther said a bit paranoid
“ And why on earth will you assume what you don’t know “ Catherine said as her mood went south she never thought her roommate could think so low of her
“What now explains your relationship with her, she is the daughter of a senator so definitely any of her acquaintances should be of the same level, “ Esther said throwing her hands in the air in disgust
“Oh so that is what you think, you don’t know a single fact about Sam so I would suggest you stop saying things you don’t know, “ Catherine said already feeling bad about herself
“ well you can suit yourself for all I care just stop pretending to be what you are not, it’s sickening, “ Esther said and stormed out of the room angrily
Catherine was shocked to her bone marrow she tried stopping her roommate but she wouldn’t listen “Why will she even assume a thing like that or is it because of the food she gives to me once in a while “ she said almost tearing up
“Who exactly is Sammy? Cause it’s obvious the person I know is different from the one in this school or am I mistaking her for someone else “ Catherine said out loud
That night she tried reaching her roommate but she wouldn’t pick up, she tried the line again it was ringing yet she didn’t pick up. Catherine immediately sent her a text “ I’m sorry roomy please come back let’s talk this out”
Catherine waited for a respond to her text but she didn’t get any, she tried sleeping but she just couldn’t this is the first time they are having issues
“Who exactly is Sammy in this school and why does everyone think so highly of her cause the Sammy I know is just from a barely average family like myself where are parents are Evangelists and preachers of the gospel, “ Catherine thought to herself
“ I need to dig into her ’cause I can’t seem to fathom how on earth she is a minister’s daughter “ she let out. After thinking for a while she eventually drafted into sleep
The following day she got a call from Sammy “Hey babes, Xup with you, any plans for the afternoon I was thinking if we could have brunch together “ Sammy said when she picked up
“ I’m good dear and I hope you are too, that will be fine just send me the address “ Catherine responded and she did just that
“ I think this will be a perfect time for me to know who exactly she is,” Catherine said getting ready to go meet with her
