. XPractical! During the holiday, how possible is it that
“her mother said in shock, she immediately
knew something was not right with Sammy
The other day you two were acting weird to each other or is there something I am missing out “ her mother said giving her a stern look
“No mama there is nothing oh I’m sure is because of the cost of coming and going back again that’s why she decided to stay back, “ Catherine said not wanting to tell her mother about the kind of life Sammy was living in school
“Well if you say so, “ her mother said facing what she was doing
Sammy and Jesse eventually went on the boat cruise vacation it was all she imagined and even more. She and her friend had fun to the fullest exploring different food and drinks, the weather also was very cozy
All through the holiday her mother tried reaching out to her to know how she was faring and also inform her about her father’s health condition which was deteriorating day by day
“Where is my daughter Sammy, I want to see her “ her father kept requesting her presence but Sammy was nowhere to be found unknown to them she was on a big ship has one of the best times of her life with men that were old enough to be her father all because she wanted a classy life at all cost
“Good morning pretty angel” Patrick greeted when Catherine okayed the call at the other end “ Good morning sweet talker “ she responded with a smile
“How are you preparing for resumption, hope you are aware school resumes next week, “ he asked
“Of course I know and I’m super excited, “ she said giggling “Oh you are tired of being at home around, “ said Patrick with raised brows
“Not that, of course, I love being at home with my family but I’m excited that I will no longer be called a newbie, cause I will be in 200 level and a senior student, “ she said adjusting the shoulders of her dress as if Patrick can even see her
“ oh that’s nice, what about my proposal you still yet to give me an answer, “ Patrick said frowning
“I have told you we can only be friends and nothing more, I have promised my parents that I’m going to give my education my full time and attention so I can excel, “ said Catherine
“If truly you love me as you claim then you have to be patient and wait for me hopefully till after my studies “ she added
“ that’s too far my love, or can we just get married and you continue with your studies afterward “ Patrick said heaving a sign of hope m
“There is no way my parents are going to accept that especially my mother so don’t even bother about it, “ said Catherine rolling her eyes brows
Catherine liked Patrick so much and wished he could be patient with her till after her studies she did not want any form of distraction and her major goal was to make her parents proud
Within a twinkling of an eye, everyone was back to school as they began a fresh calendar year, Catherine and Patrick’s friendship continued to wax stronger, and he promised to stay by her side till whenever she was ready
He aided her through some of her difficult courses in school and everything was going smoothly
One faithful day after classes Patrick offered to buy Catherine lunch and they headed to one of the school cafeterias to get food. When they got there they sat at the extreme of the cafeteria and placed orders for their meal
While waiting and gisting they suddenly saw a familiar figure walk into the restaurant and she moved straight to the table of one of their senior lecturer who was eaten
She took her seat brought out a very hefty envelope handed it to him and left immediately . Patrick and Catherine were shocked it was obvious the envelope was money and for her to pass her courses
Patrick and Catherine immediately turned their gaze at each other and shook their heads in disappointment at the moment their food was served and they up without mentioning Sammy not wanting to ruin their moment
Patrick being a generous guy got an extra plate for her roommate and snacks for herself, for the very first Catherine allowed him to drop her off at her hostel and he was filled with excitement
“ this your fine bobo is very generous oh,” Esther said when she opened the plate of food smiling
“ Because you have seen food Abi, “ Catherine said giving her a stern look
“No oh I just noticed how he cares for you genuinely and I am happy about it, “ Esther said happily
Just then Catherine picked up her phone which had been ringing and okayed it
“ my daughter how are doing please can you help text me Sammy’s school address “ Sammy’s mother said
“What!” Catherine shouted surprisingly
