Episode 11
Paul shook his head in disbelief on seeing Tony and how some part of his face was swollen. The Policemen at first refused to let him leave but after a long talk with Paul, they finally agreed to grant him bail.
They left the police station and headed straight to the hotel where Tony parked his car and drove again to Paul’s house where he freshened up and narrated the whole incident to him
“We have to start acting now before you land into more trouble. We start with Ebere firstly as soon as possible before moving over to this Woman ” Paul told Tony who only nodded. He was seriously thinking of what to tell his wife about the swollen face when he gets home that evening.

It was a very cold evening. Tony had told Angela he will be returning very late. He was a bit nervous but he wanted to get it done. Getting Ebere out of the way will lessen his problems now leaving him with Madam Veronica.
He brought out the little bottle containing the liquid and looked at it again. He put it back into his pocket and headed out. He had already told Ebere he was coming. He remembered how Paul and Ike told him to make use of the liquid. They told him it starts working from two hours after being absorbed into the body.
He bought some packs of juice and fruits on his way. He wanted to make her feel very relaxed with him before attempting anything.
Ebere welcomed him with a deep embrace on seeing him. One thing that gladdened her heart the most was that Tony came to her on his own volition without being told to come and visit her.
Tony on his part made more happier when he told her that she should be well taken care of because women are supposed to be treated well and made to feel good every time.
They sat down and talked about many things. Tony reminded her that he still loves her. This time Ebere told him to stop deceiving her, that if he loves her, he won’t leave her for another woman.
“If you are talking of who loves who, Tony you should know that I love you but you showed me that I was not good enough for you ” Ebere said coldly.
Tony moved closer to her and held her passionately, looking into her eyes.
“If I don’t love you, I won’t be here” He assured her.
Ebere had to believe him to end the topic. She knew she wasn’t a child but there was nothing she could do now. Getting money from him and some attention and good s*x would be enough for now until she puts to bed.
Tony was determined to make her last hours a very happy one. He tried his best to make her happy that night. He told her about all the good things he liked about her and most importantly how she drives him crazy in bed.
Ebere fell for his sweet words and soon found herself all over him. His sweet words had turned her on. It’s now aย matter of time before she becomes past tense.
As he left her place, he called Paul and Ike and told them that he has done it. They arranged to meet soon to prepare for the second mission.

The next morning was Sunday. Tony never took going to church seriously. Angela was the one dragging him along every Sunday to church. He never wanted to go to church that Sunday morning due to what happened the previous night. He had killed someone. The issue of having extra marital affair that same previous night didn’t bother him much. It had become part of him but he was so worried about the life he took. All the efforts Angela put into getting him to church with her proved abortive. She had to go alone after telling him some piece of her mind as to why he refused to go to church. Tony didnt bother about whatever she said.
He poured himself some drink and sipped it at intervals. Different thoughts flooded his mind.
It was about 11am that same morning when his phone rang with a hidden number. He looked on as the phone rang, wondering who could be calling him with a hidden number.
The phone rang again the second time , this time he answered the call and kept quiet, waiting to hear from the caller first.
“Hello Tony” The female voice came. He tried to decipher the owner of the voice but he couldn’t. It sounded strange.
“Yes who is it” He replied.
“It’s someone you know. God said its not yet my time Tony. You have done your worst but it didn’t work. Watch out for mine ” Ebere said and hung up.
