INTO THE UNKNOWN
Episode 1
Ifeoma and Uchenna were set to unite two prominent families in a grand wedding. The anticipation buzzed through the city, for both families were wealthy and influential. Ifeoma couldn’t contain her excitement about marrying her sweetheart; they had been through numerous ups and downs in their many years of dating.
Amara is Ifeoma’s best friend and chief bridesmaid, but a dark secret taints their friendship. During one of the moments when Ifeoma and Uchenna had taken a break from their relationship, Uchenna found solace in the arms of Amara. Even when Uche and Ifeoma rekindled their romance, the clandestine affair between Uche and Amara continued behind Ifeoma’s back. It was the ultimate betrayal: your fiancé, carrying on behind your back with your best friend.
One evening, they were all at the club together, and Uche was all over Ifeoma. “I can’t wait to make you my wife, Ifeoma Akuabia,” he whispered lovingly.
“I can’t wait to be yours, Uchenna Chiemeka. I love you,” Ifeoma replied with a radiant smile.
“I love you too,” Uche said as they embraced tightly. But as their bodies drew closer, Amara sat behind Ify, her eyes locking with Uche’s, who blew her a sly kiss.
Uche’s friend, Chidi, observed this exchange and later confronted Uche privately. “But seriously, bro, what game are you playing? Sleeping with Amara and planning to get married to Ifeoma.”
Chidi was taken aback. “Men, I’m just having fun; there are no strings attached for Amara and me. We are just having fun.”
Chidi’s voice was tinged with concern. “But have you thought about what it will do to Ifeoma if she finds out?”
Uche chuckled, “Who is going to tell her?”
“Dude, you are playing with fire, trust me. Let’s hope it doesn’t burn you.”
“Don’t worry, guy, I have everything under control.”
Chidi had been in love with Amara for a long time. Amara had treated him as though he wasn’t worth her time, which pained him deeply. To make matters worse, Uchenna knew about Chidi’s feelings and had even offered to talk to Amara on Chidi’s behalf. However, the next thing Chidi found out was that Uche and Amara were dating, which left him devastated. When he confronted Uche, Uche dismissed him, telling him to forget about Amara, saying, “She’s not into you.”
The stage was set for a web of love, betrayal, and secrets that would unravel and impact the lives of Ifeoma, Uchenna, Amara, and Chidi. The impending wedding concealed a storm of emotions that would ultimately change the course of their lives forever.

Episode 2
Chachi and Arinze had been best friends since their college days at Unilag. They pursued their dreams together, conquering law school, and eventually becoming junior partners at a prestigious law firm.
One fateful day, Chachi found himself facing a dilemma. He had met Dumebi, a brilliant medical student, and their connection was instant. Chachi was ready to take the next step and make her his wife. He looked into her eyes and said, “I love you, Dumebi, and there is nothing more I want than to make you, my wife.”
Dumebi, however, hesitated, her gaze fixed on her medical textbooks. “Common, Chachi, I have to finish my education. Getting married now will be a distraction.”
Chachi countered, “I don’t agree. Getting married won’t stop you from finishing medical school. What I can’t risk is not taking action now before someone else sweeps you off your feet.”
Dumebi chuckled, “Haha, lover boy, don’t you trust me?”
Chachi smiled and said, “I trust you, I don’t trust the guys out there with their roving eyes.”
“Okay,” Dumebi replied, “let me talk to my parents about it and let’s know what they think.”
“Excellent,” Chachi responded, “that’s a good place to start. I love you, Dumebi.”
“And I love you, Chachi.”
Later, when Chachi met up with Arinze, they discussed the matter. Arinze inquired, “So how did it go with Dumebi?”
Chachi replied, “She was reluctant, of course. Her concern is about finishing her studies, but I promised her that it wouldn’t interfere with her education. She promised to discuss it with her parents and find out their stand on the matter. She is travelling this weekend to see them.”
Chachi nodded, “Oh boy, this is becoming real. So, you actually want to get married. You want to abandon your friend and follow a woman.”
Chachi was resolute, “This is not just any woman. Remember what you told me about Tife back then in school? You said you had a feeling that she was somebody important in your life. That is the same way I feel about Dumebi. If I don’t marry her, I doubt if I can be with another woman.”
Arinze reflected, “Woah, this is serious. Talking about Tife, I wonder where she is and what she is doing with her life. I hope for her sake she has changed.”
Chachi agreed, “I hope so too, but enough about Tife before you start moping all over the place.”
Arinze grinned, “I don’t mope.”
Chachi playfully retorted, “Yes, you do.”
They both laughed.
