HOW SAMUEL MISTAKENLY SLEPT WITH HIS BROTHER’S WIFE (A true life story)

“Dad you won’t understand and besides, I don’t want you to involve my brother. I’m all grown up for crying out loud. Please stop treating me like a kid, I’m a grown up man and I can do everything all by myself. I said I want to start a business for myself are you giving me the money or not?”
My dad aborted the call.
I simply went to sit down as so many things kept reminiscing on my mind.
“this one that my father is asking me too much questions, is he going to send me this money?”
The thinking persisted till it got to the following morning when I received my credit alert from my dad. I checked and boom it was the cash.
I quickly got dressed, and headed straight to school, I went to discuss with the school administrator about Monica, and she told me she’s all aware that she had not been in school for days. I asked her what could be the reason because she was fully aware that she was my sister in-law.
“You are right in short let me call her” she said and brought out her phone.
I was looking for every possible means to avoid them so I was using the administrator as an opportunity to hear from them. I’ve already added both of their lines on blacklist.
She called her and told her that it’s just a little fever that she’d be okay,
“What about your husband hope she’s fine?” she asked Monica over the phone.
“Yes definitely. He’s taking good care of me ma and I promise you that I’ll recover very soon” Monica added.
“Alright take good care of yourself my dear” she replied and ended the call.
“I believe you’ve heard everything, and I strongly believe she’d get better. And you, don’t you have any class now?” she asked me.
“Ummm yes it’s almost 9 and I’m having a one hour class exactly 9am. I think I should be going.”
“Alright then.”
So I left, taught the students and went to the staff room and started thinking. After a while one of the teachers called me and asked me if everything was fine and I told him everything was going well.
“Are you sure? because since the last few days you’ve been absent and most of the days when you come you will just sit down and start thinking. And I noticed that you don’t always finish all your classes. I just hope everything is well just like you said. What about your other colleague Monica, I heard she’s not in a good shape hope she’s getting better?” he said as he kept staring at me.
“Daniel look, I told you everything is fine. Don’t have a phone? I don’t want any interruptions, so at least if you need her contact, all you have to do is ask. You could even call her to check on her, I don’t need disturbance right now.” I gave a bewildered expression in return and walked out of the staff room.
He called my name but I ignored him and left, I went straight to our administrators office to take an excuse from her that I want to leave.
“Samuel, I don’t understand you anymore! some days you don’t come to school, and you kept leaving the school premises anyhow you like.. Samuel are you aware that you came here to teach? I gave you a job and all you just do is to loiter about,”
“Mrs Jedidiah it’s just that… I’ve been through alot lately. It’s actually a long story. As I am right now, I’m not even feeling fine” I said to her while seriously looking at her.
“Oh really! what about me that’s a mother of 7kids, You’re not even married yet and You’re here telling me stories. Exams are by the corner and what do you expect from your students if you don’t teach them? are you aware that they would put all the blames on me the administrator if they perform poorly? you are not going anywhere today. In short, this is getting out of hands. I’m done talking! you can go” she added and left where she was seating..
I also left the staff room as well.
I went to the library to exhaust my time till the closing Bell was ranged.
I diligently went to my house, I called one of my nigga back then during my university days.
This was someone I could trust and I knew he won’t fail me.
“Paul see I have something urgent that I want you to do for me. This is very, very serious and I bet you that money is involved. Come with that your other colleague ola. You know my house Na, come I’m waiting and I want to see the both of you this evening.
“Alright boss we will be there shortly. Let me inform ola”
“Alright call me when you get here” I replied him and ended the call.
