News about Jerry’s mother’s death began circulating. Another poster posted that, “Linna was killed on purpose. It was not to kill Henry that she sacrificed her life, it was a death on purpose.” So many comments were posted and it became the most searched and trending topic on Google. Jerry’s bad reputation was brought to the public. What he thought he was hiding was now brought out and shown to the world. This was a big shame and disgrace to the Brandon family.

Henry felt bad and wondered why his dad had to remarry and give birth to this monster. A monster who wanted all of them dead. He thought of his wife. It’s been two years and 11 months since Jenny left. He put on the lights to his study and dropped to the chair. He felt really bad and needed someone to comfort him.

The very next day, the IP address of the poster who posted about Henry cheating with his wife’s younger sister was found. It was directed to Jerry’s computer. The internet was flooded again and wondered how bad a man could be to bring to ruin his whole family. Why couldn’t him find a way to resolve the issue and gain peace? It was also revealed to the public that Jerry had made a bet with the 4 major shareholders who withdrew their shares from the company. It was also revealed that he was given a billion dollar and that came about his buying a house, car and stocking up the shop with expensive wears. A picture of them discussing was posted but the shareholders faces were blurred out. It was only Jerry’s face that shined out.

This was a public disgrace. This news almost brought down the empire if not for the persistence of the remaining shareholders who acquired more shares in the company.

Henry felt someone was helping him behind the scenes but he couldn’t tell who. He thought of the possibility of Jenny but he shrugged it off. Jenny doesn’t have such power.
Episode 22
The reading of minds in Jenny was disappearing but she was waiting for one person to come visit her and bring her back home.
Patty bought a lot of health supplements for her mother. She bought presents also for Jenny. She didn’t know Jenny had given birth. She packed them all and drove over to her mother’s residence.

Old Mrs. McCarthy welcomed Patty in. She was glad to see her runaway daughter who couldn’t even visit. She knew the reason why Patty visited but pretended as if knowing nothing.

Patty couldn’t bear seeing Henry left alone with no one to console him so she made a bet with him, “if I bring sister to you, would you be willing to give me half of your shares in the company?”
Henry had looked at her and laughed, “I have searched everywhere for her and haven’t found her, who are you to find her?” He had asked.
“Brother in-law, you have searched all but one place,” she had said.
“Where?” He asked surprised.
“My mother’s place,” she replied him.
“Your mom?” Henry repeated.
“Yes, she keeps lying to you but I am sure my sister is there.”
“How am I sure you also don’t know that she’s been there all this while?”
“You can search my phone. She haven’t called me once,” she replied.
“You want half of my shares,” he was saying, “you sure are greedy and nothing like your sister.”
“That’s why we are different,” she replied him, “interested or not?”
“Interested,” he replied.

Patty sat in the sitting room having a gist with her mother when the door to the house opened. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw a resemblance of Henry running to go hug her mother. She looked at her sister and sneered in her heart. Unknowingly, Jenny do hear her thoughts. “So you do have a child?” She said in her mind and smiled at Jenny.
“Hey there sister,” she greeted and watched Jenny smile and hug her.
“Patty,” she screamed, “it’s been long, Pat.”
“Yes, it’s been. I have missed you,” she said to Jenny.
“Miss my foot,” Jenny said in her mind, “same here,” she replied and called Alexis, “this is my son, Alexis,” she said to Patty.
“Wow! He is handsome,” Patty replied.
“Yes he is like his father is,” she added and held Patty’s hand. This gesture felt like a warm gesture but in reality she was checking the warmness of her hand to see her sincerity.
“Hello, Alexis,” Patty called and smiled at Alexis who held her hands.
“Heyo,” he told her and ran back to where Margarita was seated.

“Please come back home,” Patty pleaded with Jenny, “he really needs company.”
“I don’t know what to say. I divorced him Patty, he is free to marry anybody,” Jenny said and watched Patty.
“Yes he is free but he is not sparing me the glance because of you,” she said in her thoughts. “He is free but he wants you,” she said to Jenny.
Jenny pretended to be thinking about it but was hearing Patty’s line of thought, “get over with your thinking and come back home. I am now powerful than you. You have nothing while I have half of your husband’s shares,” she smiled and held Jenny’s hand, “I am richer than you now,” she said in her thoughts and left Jenny in her thoughts.
