Episode 10.
Hannah didn’t know Joy saw her.
She went back into her apartment looking gloomy and without saying anything, she slump into the sofa.
“How did it go?” Her friend asked her.
“Eunice, just leave me alone. I’m not in the mood.”
“Haba. Am the one who asked you to go seduce a man?”
“Eunice, I go slap you o. Mind your business.”
Hannah was so pained that her plan to get Daniel take her into his room failed. She has been crushing on Daniel for sometime now but as soon as she found out that he’s a banker, she made up her mind to get him at all cost.
“Tomorrow, we go again.”
“Hannah. Hannah. I’ll advise you to stay on your own and pray for your own man than force yourself on someone only to appear cheap later.”
“I don’t care. Don’t meddle in my affairs. Goodnight.”

Joy was just happy. She was thinking if she should share the good news with her friends on their WhatsApp group chat or not.
“No gist tonight.” Chioma typed and sent with an emoji with just two eyes and no mouth.
“Today is just gloomy. Anita’s cousin who died today just spoiled my day.”
“May her soul rest in peace.” They all typed except Nancy.
“Which soul? Someone who committed abortion? Haba na. We should stop deceiving ourselves. Her soul cannot rest o.” Nancy typed as Bella quickly replied.
“Please, respect the dead.”
“Yes, respect the dead. Bella we grieve with you.” Chioma sends after Bella replied to Nancy’s message.
“With me? how?”
“She would have been your in-law.”
“How again? Chioma I’m not in the mood o. What is it?”
“You told us that Ben is related to them. So. . .you and Ben, that makes you guys to become..”
“There’s nothing going on between Ben and I.” Bella countered.
Joy just kept quiet as she read the messages.
She doesn’t want to hear anything about Ben so she decides to share the news with them.
“Guess what, girls?”
“Typing…”
“Typing…’
“Typing…”
“You got a new gig?” Chioma went first.
“Adekunle Gold called you?” That was Nancy’s.
“Ben finally asked you out?” Bella’s message came in last.
She has even forgotten about Adekunle and she prays he doesn’t remember to call because she might end up blocking his number.
Chioma reacted with an angry emoji on Bella’s message.
“Chommy, what is it?”
“Ben should park one side first. Joy, who guessed right?”
“Nobody. The real gist is that. . .” Joy stopped typing and sent the message like that.
“Joy stop the suspense. What is it?”
“Tell us already na”
“I know it’s Ben. True or false?”
“I finally have a man!!” Joy sends as Chioma started flooding their group chat with a dancing emoji.
“We finally have a man.” Chioma sends.
“Who is the we?” Joy asked with an angry emoji. It was all a facade.
“You can pluralize every other thing but don’t pluralize my man.” Joy sends with a laughing emoji.
“Wahala for who no get man.” Nancy sends with a laughing emoji too.
“So tell us. Who is it. It’s Ben abi.” Bella sends eagerly waiting to know who it was.
