My wicked father Episode 2

MY WICKED FATHER

Episode 2

In fact, as of right now, you are no longer my daughter,

I have disowned you, my father said.

and I have already called the bank manager to have your account frozen He spoke.

“Please leave my house and don’t go with anything.” He concluded.

I grinned because I assumed he was joking.

Has it come to that, Dad? I queried.

You’re a disgrace to my home.” He responded.

I turned to face my elder brother Jake,

What is going on? I asked.

Whaat? He retorted.

I used my mouth to indicate my father to him.

Heheh, the stubborn flies follows the corpse to the grave, he concluded.

My brother is in support of this, I reasoned,

So life is this cruel? I grinned wickedly.

I stood on the street of Ebefusa for some minutes with nothing except the clothes I wore.

The sound of the vehicle was really Intrigued, and I was enjoying it somehow.

The poor were wandering on the street ,

Some were selling sachet water, while others were selling akidi,

Some apprentice were kneeling by the side of the road, and their master was spanking them due to their tardiness.

And to be really honest, this is the first time I’ve stood on the road for so long.

My heart bled as I felt the suffering of the underprivileged on the heat of the sun.

I observed an eleven-year-old selling moimoi.

Why is my father refusing to assist people?

I know He won’t be able to assist everyone,

but at least he should be able to assist some. I pondered as tears formed in my eyes.

Why did I not know all of this when I was still with him? I questioned.

Why didn’t my father allowed me to be moving freely on the street,

At least I would have seen the suffering of the people, I reasoned.

“Madam you dey stand for road, motor go jam you o.” Agbero said, as I was thinking.

, I sigh, Thank you, i concluded.

I adjusted my position.

I was completely lost because it was an impromptu movement, and I had no idea where to go.

I had placed my face on the ground,
as I considered my next line of action.

My father forbids us from socializing with others, including my cousins, or even making friends.

This is why I will find this movement to be quite difficult, except Gods intervention.

As I was thinking, I heard a car horn, honking.

To be continue
