EPISODE 3
Maya was still reeling from Alex’s selfless gesture. No one had ever refused her advances before, and she didn’t know how to process her emotions. But as she looked into Alex’s kind eyes, she felt a sense of hope she hadn’t felt in years.
“Thank you, Alex,” Maya said, her voice barely above a whisper. “Thank you for being different.”
Alex smiled and hugged Maya back. “You deserve so much more than what life has given you, Maya. I want to help you start anew.”
And with that, Alex began to make good on his promise. He enrolled Maya in a local college, where she could pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. He also helped her find a part-time job at a nearby clinic, where she could gain experience and build her confidence.
As Maya settled into her new routine, she found herself feeling happier and more fulfilled than she had in years. She was excelling in her nursing program, and her part-time job at the clinic was giving her valuable hands-on experience. But more than that, she was feeling seen and heard by Alex, who had become her rock, her confidant, and her best friend.
As the days turned into weeks, Alex found himself falling deeply in love with Maya. He admired her strength, her resilience, and her determination to start anew. He loved the way she smiled when she talked about her dreams, and the way her eyes sparkled when she laughed.
But Maya, despite her growing feelings for Alex, couldn’t shake off the fear of her past. She knew that she wasn’t good enough for him, that her history would eventually catch up with her and hurt him. She tried to push him away, to tell him that she wasn’t worth his love, but Alex wouldn’t listen.
“Maya, I don’t care about your past,” Alex said, taking her hand in his. “I care about the present, and the future we can build together. I love you, Maya, not for who you were, but for who you are now.”
Maya’s heart skipped a beat as she looked into Alex’s eyes. She saw the sincerity there, the genuine love and acceptance. But she was still afraid.
“Alex, I don’t want to hurt you,” Maya said, her voice barely above a whisper. “My past is complicated, messy. I don’t want it to touch you, to soil you.”
Alex smiled and pulled her close. “Maya, I’m not afraid of your past. I’m afraid of losing you, of not being able to help you through the tough times. I want to be your rock, your safe haven. Let me in, Maya. Let me love you.”
Maya’s heart skipped a beat as she agreed to date Alex
Alex was so happy when Maya said yes to dating him. He hugged her tightly.
They started dating and couldn’t stay apart. Alex would visit Maya at work every day.
Dave, Alex’s brother, noticed Alex was happy. “What’s going on, Alex? You’re glowing!” he asked.
“I’m in love, Dave,” Alex said with a smile. “I’ve met the most beautiful girl.”
Dave was curious. “Who is she? I want to meet her!”
One evening, Alex asked Maya to dress up. He wanted to introduce her to Dave. Maya was excited. She got ready and looked stunning.
Alex took Maya to his father’s company. Maya was amazed by the big building. “You work here?” she asked. “Yes, my brother and I run this company,” Alex said.
They went to Alex’s office. It was luxurious. Then they went to Dave’s office. Alex hugged Dave and said, “My girlfriend is here.” Dave was eager to meet her.
But when Maya entered, Dave’s face changed. “She’s a prostitute!” he exclaimed.
Alex already knew Maya’s past, but Dave didn’t understand. “I know, Dave. I love her anyway,” Alex said calmly.
