IN LOVE WITH A S*X WORKER
EPISODE 4
Dave’s face turned red with anger and disgust. “How could you, Alex? She’s a prost.tute! You’re risking our family’s reputation and business by dating someone like her.” Alex stood firm, his eyes locked on Dave’s. “Maya is more than her past, Dave. She’s kind, smart, and beautiful. I love her, and I won’t abandon her because of your prejudices.” Dave sneered. “You’re blinded by love, Alex. Think about our family’s name, our business. If people find out you’re dating a prost.tute, it’ll ruin us.” Alex’s voice rose. “I won’t leave Maya, Dave. She deserves a chance at a new life, and I’m going to give it to her.” Dave’s expression turned cold. “Fine, Alex. If you won’t leave her, then I’ll inform Mom and Dad about your little relationship. They’ll put a stop to this n.nsense.” Alex’s eyes flashed with anger. “You wouldn’t dare, Dave. This is my life, not yours to control.” Dave smiled smugly. “Watch me, Alex. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect this family’s reputation.”
Maya’s eyes welled up with tears as she watched the exchange between the brothers. She felt like she was the source of the conflict, and it was tearing her apart. She took a step forward, her voice shaking. “Please, Dave, don’t tell your parents. I’m a changed person, I swear. I’ve left my past behind and I’m trying to start anew.”
Dave’s expression remained unyielding, his voice cold. “You can’t change who you are, Maya. You’re like a piece of paper that’s been burned – the scars will always remain. You can’t erase the past, no matter how hard you try.” Maya’s face contorted in desperation. “But I have changed, Dave! I’m not the same person I used to be. Please, don’t tell your parents. I’ll leave Alex, I’ll never come back.
Dave’s gaze was unrelenting. “Fine, get out. Leave Alex and never come back. That’s the only way to protect our family’s reputation.” Maya’s tears streamed down her face as she turned to flee, but Alex caught her arm. “Maya, wait! Don’t go.” But Maya shook him off, her eyes wild with fear. “I have to, Alex. I’ll ruin everything if I stay.”
Maya sprinted out of the office, her heels clicking down the hallway. Alex chased after her, his footsteps echoing off the walls. “Maya, stop! Please don’t go.” But Maya didn’t look back, her long legs carrying her swiftly through the building. She burst through the front doors and emerged into the cool night air, gasping for breath.
Alex followed close behind, his voice hoarse from shouting. “Maya, please!” But Maya kept running, her eyes fixed on a cab that had just pulled into the parking lot, dropping off a passenger. Maya sprinted towards it, yanking open the door and jumping in. “Please, take me away from here,” she begged the driver, her voice cracking.
The driver, a kind-eyed old man, nodded sympathetically. “Where to, miss?” Maya hesitated, then gave him an address in a nearby neighborhood. As the cab pulled away, Alex ran after it, his voice hoarse from shouting. “Maya, stop! Please don’t go.” But the cab drove off into the night, leaving Alex standing alone in the darkness. Dave’s voice echoed behind him, a cold smile spreading across his face. “She’s gone, Alex. And she won’t be back.”
Alex pushed Dave aside and jumped into his car. He started the engine and followed the cab that carried Maya. He had to make sure she was okay.
Maya arrived home and quickly entered her house, closing the door behind her. Alex pulled up behind the cab and ran to Maya’s house. He knocked on the door, but Maya refused to open it. “Go away, Alex,” she said through the door.
But Alex persisted. “Maya, please open the door. Don’t let your past define you. You are more than what happened to you. You are strong and beautiful, and I love you for who you are.”
Maya’s heart melted at Alex’s words. She opened the door, and Alex hugged her tightly. “I’m sorry,” she said, tears streaming down her face.
Alex and Maya sat down on the couch together. Maya said, “I don’t want to be the reason for you to have issues with your family.” But Alex replied, “Nothing like that will happen. My family will understand. I promise to love you all the days of my life.”
Maya smiled, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. She knew she had found her soulmate in Alex. They hugged again, and their issues were resolved.
