I pushed her away on seeing my boss Mr Kip forlad, he walked to where we were and I bowed my head apologising.
“I’m sorry sir”.I told him but he walked away without saying a word.
“You dummy and good for nothing, I could have gotten fired today all cause of you,if you don’t value your job, I do”.I told her praying he never tells any one what he just saw.

I didn’t hear all what Edward had said but I had this gut feeling in me that he was no good to her.
I bumped into Amber and her phone had fallen, I helped her pick it up only to see that you had hearted Edward’s name, Was she in love with him?, No, Amber please don’t be, I’m here.
“Have you had lunch?”.I asked her hoping to start a conversation with her.
“Not yet, it a few minute to lunch break and Edward promised to take me out for lunch” Was Amber response and right there, I knew it was either I was possessive of Amber or Jealous.
I watched her leave with Kip to go have lunch, I called Candy, the girl who usually come over to satisfy my urges.
She jumped at the idea that I was taking her for a lunch, I knew she had anticipated for a closer relationship for the both of us but I never wanted commitment.
Life is too short to be tied with just one person, you enjoy as you want and I need to acquire every good thing on Earth.
She arrived just in time and I had started following Edward’s Car and he stopped at a little restaurant and I did the same.
I waited a bit for them to enter before I led Candy who was shocked.
We got to the little restaurant and I realized it wasn’t a restaurant but a joint where people come to eat affordable meals at lower and cheaper prices.
I made an order for fried rice and chicken, it was then I realized they don’t serve those.
Candy didn’t for once hide the fact that she hated the place, She would just stare at the people around feeling irritated and she didn’t stop asking me when we should leave.
I fixed my gaze on Amber wondering how she felt about this place, funny thing is that she was relaxed and it really amazed me.
She was the first girl I have ever come across that doesn’t act like an hypocrite but just the way she was.
I wished I was the one sitting across the table staring at her beautiful face and not Edward.
“Kip, our order is here”.Candy said bringing me back to reality.
“Gosh, what this?, Kip you don’t expect me to eat this?”.She said almost screaming.
Sadly this foolish girl has brought the attention of all the customers including Amber and Edward.
Amber eyes were fixed on me immediately and I knew what she was thinking, She had probably felt I was stalking her.
Was she right?, I think I am, I mean look at me, I’m here sitting in a joint about to have lunch all cause she went there with Edward.
She excused herself and walked outside and I did the same, I knew when I came back, Candy would have been calm and would stop ranting like a mad dog.
“Hey”.I said coming close to Amber.
“Why are you here?”.was the question she threw at me.
“To have lunch”.I responded and her gaze showed she knew I wasn’t here for just that.
“I think I get it now”.She said and I stared at her.
“Get what?”.I asked confused.
“You’re here only to make fun of me and ruin my date with Edward”.She said and i just wondered what got her thinking such.
” No I’m not”.I told her.
“Okay then tell me why you are here”.She asked and I wondered why.
” I don’t know, I have no idea why I’m here”.I told her knowing that wasn’t enough reason to justify why my presence is needed here.
“Oh really?, You yourself said there’s no strings attached and you wanted to terminate the contract so why are you here?”.She blurted out to me.
” I really don’t know, I have no idea”.I told her and she stared at me while shaking her head in disappointment.
“We are both allowed to be with someone else other than each other,I mean you don’t see me complaining whenever you are with that girl”.She said taking a short pause.
” If you have ever considered me to be your friend, you would trust me enough to let me make and meet someone other than you without fear of you stalking me”.She told me and I knew she was disappointed.
She walked a bit close to me and whispered “If you’re scared of me spreading my legs for Edward then let me assure you, I won’t, I’m not that cheap”.She said and walked away.
I just stood there for a while, this was actually the second time I had felt I had hurt her and I could see hatred for me in her eyes and I wouldn’t blame her, I have caused her a lot of pains.
I decided to help her out since she wanted to start her life afresh with Edward and I wasn’t sure of what I’m feeling towards her, She hates me already so adding more to her hatred wasn’t something I was physically ready for.
I bought a beautiful long blue gown, long probably because I didn’t want Edward staring at her attractive legs, there were mine to stare at and not her’s.
I added 2 million dollar gold necklace and earrings to match as well, the dress had cost a million dollar imported from Italy.
She deserved the best and I wanted her to look her best at the family dinner, Edward had invited her to, we both became a bit close after that incident at the joint, I came apologising and she agreed.
I promised to be a friend and help out when I’m needed, though Edward claimed he loved Amber somehow I felt something was just wrong.
I didn’t like him one bit but I hid it from Amber maybe because she has grown to like Edward a lot.
They had both started dating based on me advising Amber to go for what she wanted and since it was Edward.
I planned to call my lawyer who says he would return to Nigeria in two days, he has been the reason why the contract has not been cancelled.
If this contract get terminated then we’ll both not be together again, I made sure Amber was styled by the best in the business.
She hugged me and thanked me for all my help and I somehow didn’t want her to disengage from the hug.
I wasn’t sure of what I felt towards her especially when she is close, I thought I was being protective of her because I had a right to her body but getting to know her, I’m not sure of what I feel and I’m scared of getting hurt.
Just for this girl Kip forlad is scared!
