Episode 11
After showering I walked out and got dressed, I wore my night wears and then I heard a knock, I thought to myself that it could be Vera my personal maid but shockingly it wasn’t.
“Come in”.I said and got surprised on seeing Kip.
He walked in holding a balm, he moved close to me while I was still recovering from the shock he had given to me.
This was the first time he had knocked before entering my room, I felt at that point that he had home training but why then did he not obey it at the right time.
“I brought this balm, it will help relieve your pains and in a few days you will feel better”.He said and I let out a smile.
He held my hands and started applying the balm, caressing it as well. I just watched him without a word wondering where has this side been all along.
I had grown used to seeing his aggressive and mean side not this new side of this.
Is it simply because I’m talking to Edward and he doesn’t want me accepting or knowing anyone else.
“What all this affection for?”.I asked him and before he could answer my phone beeped and I was sure it was Edward.
I stared at my phone and then at him ” I’m done already, I will leave you now”.He said about leaving, I called him back and he turned to face me smiling and I wondered why, I pointed to the balm “Don’t forget that and thanks for the balm, I feel a bit better”.I told him and he stretched forth his hands and I held the balm and i gave it to him.
“Good night”.I said to him wrapping myself with the bedsheets.
I turned off the light and closed my eyes to sleep.

After breakfast, I walked downstairs only to see Kip, He gave me a welcoming smile and helped me down the stairs.
“What going on?” Was the next thing I asked myself.
“Ma’am, Ma’am”.Was the next thing I heard and I released I was day dreaming about Kip been close to me.
“Yes”.I responded Vera.
“Sir is waiting for you at the car”.She responded and I smiled.
Something was definitely wrong with me, last night I had a dream or maybe a nightmare that I was in love with kip and I was pregnant as well for him.
This was definitely a nightmare maybe because of the sudden treatment he had given me that was why I had felt that way.
I entered the car only to see Kip wasn’t there.
“Where’s the boss?”.I asked the driver who responded.
“Ohh sir says I should be one driving you from now onwards, he decided to stay in his third car”.The driver responded and started driving.
I felt a bit concerned and I had this tingly feeling inside and I didn’t understand why I had it, Was Kip Avoiding me?, I should be happy he is maintaining a distance from me so why then do I feel this way.
The driver helped me out in opening the car while I came out, I stared at the car moving close to where we parked ours, Kip came out and his eyes were fixed on me, he let out a smile and walking close to me.
“Today you’ll be going for a check up so your wounds will be checked and yes, your services will be terminated in a couple of days, after your recovery, you will no longer be needed here, and If you’re concerned about your money I promise to give you everything we bargained for”.He said shocking me right there.
He paused watching my reaction and before I could say anything,he said “I don’t want to hurt you anymore, I have done enough and I’m ashamed of myself for hurting you the way I did”.He said and I tried smiling.
I should be jumping out for joy now but why I’m I not happy?, The contract is going to be terminated soon, and still I was getting the five million dollars, I had sold my body for so why wasn’t I happy.
Edward came to welcome me in, “Why were you responding to my text?”.He asked me and I turned to see Kip staring at me.
He looked away immediately and then Edward held my chin, “What are you thinking of?”.He asked me and I responded “Nothing, I was busy last night that why I didn’t respond to your texts, I’m sorry”.I said and he smirked.
“it okay, so tell me how was your night? “.He asked and I tried smiling.
” It was good yours? “.I asked staring at him.
” It was fine”.He said smiling at me.
” Okay”.I said and I was about leaving when he held my hands.
“Let go to our office together please”.He begged and I tried smiling.
What’s he saying?, Edward is really cute and attractive but then I didn’t know why I couldn’t see him in that way but still he is the first man to make feel this way, happy.
I agreed and he escorted me to my office, I went in and started working, when it was my lunch break , he came there and asked me out for lunch and that was when he asked me out to dinner, he wanted us to go on a date.
I didn’t agree at first but then since my contract was ending soon what then do I want, I could go on a date with a man and be happy.
He held my hands smiling and he led me to the cafeteria, I searched through for Kip but didn’t find him.
After lunch, he promised to come pick me up tomorrow’s evening cause that was the companies off day for workers, I told him I would meet him there and that he should send me the restaurant address.
He nodded and surprisingly gave me a peck, I tried smiling at him and he smiled too.
“I’m sorry, I know I’m rushing this and all but I like you so much and I can’t just hide it”.Edward said and I smiled.
” It okay, I think I like you too”.I told him and he smiled.
“Then tomorrow’s dinner I will ask you an official question, I will really be glad if you say yes to me”.He said and gave me another peck this time around Kip walked out of his office with the same lady I saw him with the first day I was here.
I wondered what she came here to do again, She smiled caressing Kip and making sure she left him with a kiss on the lips.
I got irritated immediately, I was barely gone and now he is with her, he stared at me with Edward before entering his office.
Edward walked away while I went into my office to complete what I was doing, I needed Kip’s signature on a document and plus I will seek that opportunity to ask him for permission to go on my date with Edward, I need that permission because I was staying in his house so I walked into his office.
The lady was still there and this time, she was half dressed.
“Don’t you knock?”.She asked and I walked out immediately.
Why was Kip like this?, Somehow seeing that made me mad and I wondered why, I was irritated that he couldn’t control his urge but then why do I care?, He says he will terminate the contract in a few days and I have a date with Edward so I shouldn’t be concerned about what he does with any woman of his choice.
The lady walked away giving me the same glances she gave that last time.
“Come in”.I heard Kip say and I did.
“You should have knocked”.He said staring at me.
“Sir can you please sign this?”.I said staring away from his fixed gaze.
” What that?”.He asked staring at me.
“You can go through it”.I told him and he collected it from me, his hands touched mine and I quickly removed it, I was sure he noticed.
“Here, have signed it, anything else?”.He asked and I wondered if he just wanted me to go.
” Yes, Um sir…”He interrupted.
“Kip, call me Kip”.He said and I stared at him.
“Our contract is going to be terminated in a few days by you so I see no reason why I shouldn’t call you that besides all your employees call you sir and I’m one”.I told him and he just stared at me.
” You’re not just my employee, you’re different and special”.He said and smiled.
“Special how?,We both no in a matter of days, we won’t be sharing or having an intimate relationship”.I told him and he rolled his eyes.
“You’re making me regret letting you go, so tell me what you wanted to tell me”.He said and I responded, ” Edward asked me out to dinner, tomorrow night at so I need your permission so I could go”.I told him and he chuckled.
” What happened?”.I asked him confused.
” Amber you’re really so innocent, asking for my permission, I’m not your dad plus if you want to go then I can’t stop you, just be careful”.He said and I walked away.

“Edward baby”.Gina said coming close to hug me.
“Stay clear Gina, I told you before it over between us”.I told her but then she came close and whispered.
” Why?, Is it cause I wasn’t able to give you the kind of satisfaction you needed you dog”.She said and chuckled.
” Who knows?, Look Gina, don’t you dare make me repeat this to you again, I’m no longer interested in you, have seen everything in you and there’s nothing more to see, your legs are no longer the way I like it nowadays when you spread it for me they look irritating and old, I need something fresh and new, hope you know what I mean Gina”I told her but then she came close to me and kissed me caressing me.
I pushed her away on seeing my boss Mr Kip forlad, he walked to where we were and I bowed my head apologising.
“I’m sorry sir”.I told him but he walked away without saying a word.
“You dummy and good for nothing, I could have gotten fired today all cause of you,if you don’t value your job, I do”.I told her praying he never tells any one what he just saw.
