All what the lecturer taught that day was helpful but faded from her heart and memory because her taught was already on Harry!
Successfully, the lecture was over. Immediately, Harry’s call came in to Jessica’s phone,
“Hello, Jessy, Jessy, how are you doing today?, He greeted
“Hey, Harry, am fine, thank you. Where are you?, She asked
“Okay, meet me at the sycamore tree in the school car park, he replied and Jessica walked down majestically to the sycamore tree but couldn’t meet Harry! Not quit long, Harry appeared….
“Hey, Harry, why did you keep me late here since? I don’t like taking time here in the school premises so I won’t arrive home late, she explained
“I understand where you are coming from’, he replied
“Really, what do you mean by you understand where am coming from? Do you know where I live, do you even know who I am?, She asked him and laughed out while talking to him
“Jessy,bwhy are you laughing unecessarily, am I mistaken in my words? Or you’ve forgotten that am a good spirit discerner. Infact, I am a prophet in case you don’t kmow. Whatever I tell people that’s what happens and that’s true?” He replied, while Jessica laughed out louder than before!
He did all that to get her attention, but Jessica hasn’t lost her identity.
“Okay, wait! Harry, you mean that you know where am coming from?, She asked again
“Yes, or are you doubting my truth? Harry replied and walked down close to the tree, sat on a contrusted seat there!
Jessica also sat close to him on the same seat!
Harrison was already caught up with joy in his heart. His happiness was that, his lustful desires to have Jessica is making progress!
Meanwhile, John, Harrison’s friend was the one that gave Harrison the contract to talk to Jessica and get her for him as his girlfriend! But, Harrison has mallover the contract because Jessica was an exquisiting lady that no one would look upon her and won’t be attracted to look at her a thousand times; such a captivating creature!
While they were sitted there; Jessica’s phone rang… It was mum that called her, but she ignored the call. Not quit long, Harry’s phone rang also, It was John, Harry’s best friend, but he also ignored the call.
“Why will you ignore your call? Is it because I ignored mine? I think, your girlfriend will be the one calling you?, Jessica spoke,
“Girlfriend?, Hmmm……. I don’t have a girlfriend?, Harrison lied,
“Okay, back to the matter, you’ve made me laugh enough today, and am already late to go home. So, tell me, what was your reason of demanding for my contact that Sunday we met first in the church? What is your mission?, Jessica inquired to know why Harrison’s requested for her contact!
“Fine, nothing much, nothing less, I think, (he snizzed) aren’t you happy the way you are sitted here with me?, Harrison replied with a question that shooked Jessica
Tho, she had feeling’s for him, the feelings aren’t the thoughts of Harrison, that’s where confusion comes in…. Differentiating LOVE from LUST!
“You mean what? I don’t understand what you are insuating Harrison, she replied with a smile…. and continued, oh.. okay, you want me as one of them?”, She asked
“Yes, but you will be the one I will love than all of them, please I know where you are coming from, I know people like you are hard like the SHELL OF A TORTISE, HARD TO BREAK!, but give me this chance”, Harrison requested.
What a request!
Hey, Harry, will you wish to have me reply your request now or later?, Jessica inquired from him
“Jessy I understand how you feel”, he replied
“That’s not what I asked from you. I said, will you need me to reply you now or later, or when?”, She asked again
“Hmmm…. Anytime you wish, okay, tomorrow is another day I trust we will meet tomorrow”, Harrison suggested she should reply him tomorrow again at their meeting point….
They dismissed immediately……….
“Can I have you escourts to your house since it’s close?, Harrison requested,
“Well, nothing much, it’s not a big deal for you to do that, but I can do that myself, just take care of yourself, good night, Jessica replied and diverted at that spot!
Jessica has made Harrison’s day the best! It’s not easy to break the shell of a tortise! He taught he had gotten her all, but never knew what her reply would be when they assembly at the sycamore tree tomorrow!
When, Harrison got home, he met his best friend John at the door post of their house!…
“Harry, you haven’t returned home late at this Time of the night! Parhaps, after school hours I didn’t see you again in the campus, you just vanished, John was inquiring from him, Harry ignored him and proceed the room, took his bath and took his phone to call Jessica unknown to him that John was closeby when he dailed her number!
The exact hour Jessica arrived at home and met her mum at the sitting room in anticipation to hear from her,
“Jessica, where have you been since you closed from school today or the lectures took more than your time?, Her mum asked, she was speechless and was contemplating if she would lie to her mum, but Jessica told her the truth
“Mum, i went to see a Friend of mine?, She replied
“A friend? At this time of the night, at least, you should be able to see the so called your friend by day and not by night, you know that everyone outside here this night is on risk. Perhaps, who is that friend of yours?”, Her mum asked
Jessica was bitting her fingers… Stammering to reply her… While she was still confused how to narrate Harry to her mum, immediately, Harry’s call came in to her phone… She refused picking the calls in the presence of her mum!
“Who’s calling you?”, Her mum quarried her but she kept mute and couldn’t reply.
“Jessica, can’t you pick your calls again?”, Her mum, kept pushing her to pick the calls, and later she finally picked!
John was already at the corner and heard all his conversation, then he detected that he was already toiling round with Jessica!
“Hello, Jessy, I want to confirm if you are home? I hope mum isn’t agry with you?, He asked,
“No, problem, we will talk tomorrow, thank you, Jessica pretended and smiled.
“Who was the caller?, Her mum kept querying her.
“Mum, it’s my course mate”, she replied.
“How many friends have you gotten this days, perhaps they aren’t believers! What are you turning your faith to? Can I ask you, what does light has to do with darkness? What has Christ to do with belia? What has the temple of God has to do with idol?. Jessica, we need to talk seriously, I need to tell you about the Shell”, her mother spoke to her, Jessica has already felt guilty of her lies and pretence.
Her mother left her at that spot and went to the sitting room. Jessica followed after her immediately.
After Harrison has finished making his calls with Jessica to confirm her arrival at home, John suddenly barge in to the room where Harrison was!
“Harrison, I guess you just called Jessica! I can now see that you are the one running the contract I gave to you, Harry”, John angrily addressed him
“Really? So, you wish to have all the ladies and sisters in the church, and you have hired me as a contractor to get them for you? What do you take me for, a fool? Or a sheep that had no direction for himself? Listen, I’ve been fooling myself for you all this while, this time around, it’s time for everyone to bear his father’s name and not another man’s name!, Harrison stood up with annoyance and relied John roughly. It was so suprising to John because he never had any crash with Harrison for the past 5 years they had stay together as friend!
John stood still like a pole of light mounted to the ground and watched Harrison express himself!
“Listen, John, as for Jessica, I’ve told you that she’s not easy to get along with her. She’s so hard like the shell of a tortise and only I, myself can get her an win her heart for myself and not for you! You already have other ladies you are toiling with, and rubbing shoulders with even in the church, but for this sister Jessica, lock up! and watch me get her successfully. And if you think you want to try your lock, you have her contact already; call her or better still encounter her physically and tell her whatever you want to, let’s see how it works”, Harrison expressed
“Alright, I can see, don’t forget the fact that at the first place, I told you about her, I know her first before you, but don’t worry I will get her and make sure I have what I want because I love her”, John replied and angrily left the room like an angrily wolf,and almost pulled the door of the room down to the ground!
Jessicas mum was sitted in room as Jessica followed her at the back like a goat that is hunrgy for the pills of the yam!
“Mum, can you please tell me about the SHELL. I don’t understand what you mean by that, can you please talk to me, am eager to know what you are talking about”, she pleaded to her mum, longing to know what she meant by the SHELL?
