The Asoebi Girls.
Episode 14.
Life seems perfect when you’re with the right person.
Getting to know more about Daniel, Joy now believes the saying;
“What you’re looking for in Sokoto is in your Shokoto.”
Who would believe that she has been neighbors with her boyfriend and didn’t know something this beautiful could be built.
I forgot to tell you.
Ben called Joy, as he promised Bella.
It wasn’t an easy period for him that the girl he had been eyeing for a long time was taken away before his eyes.
“What exactly did you tell her in the car that day?” Bella asked Ben as he laments about his loss blaming Bella for not helping him tell Joy about his feelings.
“How could you start by complimenting another girl in the presence of the girl you want to woo. Truly you don’t deserve Joy.”
“You won’t blame me totally. I couldn’t face her rejecting me. Even at that, I can’t lose twice. ”
“What do you mean by that?” Bella asked hoping it’s not what she was thinking.
“Since I couldn’t get Joy, I shouldn’t lose you either.”
“Godforbid.” Bella found herself spilling before she could take her words back.
“Am I that bad?” Ben asked looking at himself from his shirt, to his trousers and his shoes.
“You don’t look bad. You’re a handsome man, Ben, but I can’t date you.”
“Am not even talking about dating. I want to marry you, Bella. I have a car, I live in a comfortable house. I can provide your needs. I know we’re perfect for each other.”
Bella couldn’t help but chuckle, looking at him from head to toe and with all he has said, she feels guilty for trying to matchmake Ben with Joy.

“So you mean this was all that was going on?” Nancy asked as Bella explained everything to them. “Chioma actually thought that something was going on between you two.”
“Haba, Nancy. Must you mention my name? You’re not nice at all. Remember you also said you suspected something. ”
Chioma defended to avoid entering Bella’s black book. She knows her name is already there.
“Joy, won’t you say anything?” Bellas asked not knowing why she said what she said.
“What can I say? I’m glad he didn’t even ask if not, I wouldn’t have been with Daniel.”
“Awwwn.” Chioma and Nancy says simultaneously.

The next day, they had an unexpected visitor.
Adekunle Gold.
“Hi, pretty.” Adekunle said as soon as Chioma opens the door.
“Hi, Adekunle right?”
“Oh yes.” He replies showing those two sets of teeth that had an uncanny resemblance with that of a rabbit. It was Bella’s description of his teeth.
“Nice seeing you again though I wasn’t opportuned to meet you really the last time.” Chioma says as she stretches out her hand for a hand shake. “I’m sorry, Joy is not at home.”
“Oh. It’s fine. I didn’t really come to see Joy. I came to see you.”
Chioma didn’t like the sound of that. She’s the only one at home and has never been free talking with a guy in a quiet environment, not after what happened some years ago.
