The next day, Jessica was unable to attend school due to her dislocation yesternight. Harrison sent a message to her via SMS!
“Hello dear Jessy, how was your night? Trusting you are doing well! I hope the pains has reduced and you are now getting better! Can i Call you now or is mum around?”, She read the message and replied,
“Yes dear, you can call” Harrison’s call quickly came in to her phone as she received
“Hello dear, how was your night?”, He asked
“My night was fine and yours?” She replied
“My night was not all that fine.”, He said.
“What happened that to you that made your night not fine?” She asked
” I was praying for you all throughout the night to you can recover quickly to enable you to come to school today” he replied..
“Wow, that’s nice and Good of you, I really appreciate.” She appreciated
“It’s nothing for you to appreciate me! Just thank God and I believe you are coming to School today?” He inquired
“Not really, I need to relax myself because am still feeling the pains in my legs. But, I thought you said you prayed for me all throughout the night for my quick recovery,” she said
“Yes, I did, don’t you trust me again?” He replied
“Yes… Sorry, I mean, no I trust you,but why it seems your prayers didn’t have any effect on me because this morning I woke up, the pains was more than that of yesternight”, she said, testifying that his prayers wasn’t effective.
“My dear, have you forgotten our duty is to pray and God’s duty is to answer. As long we’ve done our duty we will leave the rest for God to perfect it. Just believe my prayers and don’t impute at Iota of doubt and you will get the answers.” He advised and wave away the matter.
“Okay… I hope you are also going to school today. Yes, am already on my way with my friend John,” he replied
“How’s is John, your friend?”, She asked
“John is fine by God’s Grace. And he’s also sending regards to you,” he replied
“Maybe, some other day we will meet,” she scheduled
Harrison and John finally made peace together and John being a full time fornicator gave his life to Christ and re-dedicated himself to the service of God. John became a preacher in the campus; spreading the gospel of Christ.
John had no choice of leaving Harrison behind because they live together and yet Harrison is still dwelling in the ocean of sin, mostly, immorality.
John has tried all his best to change Harrison and preach to him but Harrison isn’t yet convinced that John has truly repent when John shared to him the experience he had an his encounter with Christ the last time they almost fought at the sycamore tree because of Jessica.
They both were still on call when Harrison reminded her of her sister visitation to Nigeria from Dubai!
“Hello dear, I hope you haven’t forgotten about my sisters visitation on 13th of February for the celebration of the Valentine’s day coming up the next two days, that will be on Monday. I hope you getting yourself prepared to visit her and join us in the celebration”, he reminded her
“Oh yes,. I haven’t forgotten. Please let’s not talk about it here because when I remembered that, that was the information that got my legs dislocated I feel pains,” she said
“Alright, tomorrow when we meet in the church we will talk better about it, and next tomorrow been Monday is the Valentine’s day and my sisters visitation,” he replied
“Harry, have you you, we will talk about that when we meet next tomorrow on Sunday, then I will conclude if I was going to visit your sister or not.”, She said
“I trust you will come, I trust you very much well,” he said
“Harry, I know you trust me,but am not coming to visit you but your sister, and I haven’t concluded yet, tomorrow will tell if I would visit or not, so that’s by the way,” she replied her with smile….
Harrison hang up the call while he was with John ,on their way to school!
“Harrison,is that sister Jessica?” He asked
“Don’t you know she’s the one that called? You just love asking unecessary questions. Why not leave me alone John”, he replied
“Harrison, you know you are my friend and you won’t expect me to keep quite and watch you want to do the wrong thing. I know was once like you, I fornicated more than you, I m********e than you, I have many girlfriends excess than you do, and I never believed that God can forgive me and change my life, I told you the encounter I had the other day we fought because of Jessica in the school. I had a terrifying dream about how I found myself in Hell, since then o refrained my foot from evil and pleased for the mercy of God for weeks before God confirmed to me His mercy.”, He said and tears on their way….
“See, John, don’t come and disgrace yourself on the road and be crying like a child because of the dream you had.” Harrison replied so touched by his words
“Harrison, there is nothing important to my life that the experience I had with God. I don’t want to die as fornicator and end up in hell, I don’t want to die as an humanizer and stop in Hell, I Desire a better country like the people of old did. Many have left me because of my salvation, my name has become apostle John, the name my girlfriend’s call me including those I broke their virginity, they were not left behind as I told them about my experience in Hell and how I gave my life totally to Christ”, John revealed
“It’s okay John, stop those tears of yours! If I didn’t decide, nothing can change my own life; I will think about it because those tears of yours can’t make me change my decision. As for Jessica, she’s my woman and I will make sure I take care of her and make her the best woman among all I have on campus”, he said feeling less concerned about John’s advice.
