THE BROKEN SHELL π

EPISODE 10
Jessica got home with her left leg discolated with pains. Her mother was surprised to meet her leaping in to the sitting room that night.
“Jessica, Jessica, what happened to you”, her mother rushed quickly and supported her to sit down while she began to inquire the cause of her dicloation.
“Jessica, who did this to you?, What happened to your leg.” She asked
“Mum, I was on my way home and mistakenly the hill I was putting on shifted from the ground that was why my leg got dislocated “, she replied
“And perhaps, why are you returning back home late at this time of the night? Where have you been to since the time you closed from school”, she asked
“Mum, have you forgotten that today is our campus fellowship? I didn’t go to anywhere at all, or mum don’t you trust me again”, she replied
“Jessica, I still trust you but I need to know how you go about your movement because this time around you got to be extraordinary careful. Or did you went to see Harrison again today?”, She asked suspeciously
“Haa!, mum, I didn’t have any appointment with Harrison, I only met him at the campus fellowship meeting before everyone departed to their various destination”, she replied her
Jessica’s conscience was beating so high because it’s a surprise thing to her when her mother suspected her of going to Harrison’s house!
“Jessica, I can feel this deeply in my heart, the spirit of God is laying something in my heart now and I can’t doubt what He’s laying in my heart now”, she said
Jessica became afraid because she knows whom her mother is, and how good God has blessed her with a decerning spirit.
“Jessica”, she called
“Yes mum”, she replied
“Somebody brought you here from the point where you had a dislocation on your legs, but I don’t know the person, now tell me, who is he?”, She asked by the decerning spirit in her.
Jessica was speechless for some times, and her heart was beating so fast than the first!.
“Jessica, won’t you reply me again? I asked you, who is the person that brought you here before you entered and you kept mute. Well, am waiting for you to answer me because I can see you are becoming a big girl, and your eyes are now beholding the pleasures of Lust”, she spoke bitterly.
While she was yet speaking, Harrison’s call came in to Jessica’s phone immediately. She declined the call swiftly.
“Who’s call was that?” She asked
“It was Harrison that called”, she replied
“Pick up your call and call him back then turn on your speaker and volume it,” she instructed
“Mum, but I have nothing to do with him, maybe he called me mistakenly”, Jessica refused
“Jessica, do what I asked you now!!,” She repeated
Jessica reluctantly took her phone and dailed Harrison’s number, and turned on the speaker! Harrison received the call on loud speaker
“Hello, Jessica, how are you feeling now? I hope your mum didn’t query you for coming late home?”, He said
“Harrison, I’m fine, thank you for calling I appreciate”, she replied to hang up the call
“And wait, don’t forget what I told you. Don’t allow that your leader to disturb you at all and when he calls, let him know that you aren’t interested in any relationship.”, He advice. Jessica’s mother heard all their conversation and before Jessica hanged up the call.
“Jessica, what do you have to say?”, She asked
“Mum, I have nothing to say” she replied
“Yes, I said I have nothing to say, that’s all”, she harshly replied
Jessica’s mother stood up and majestically walked in to the room leaving her behind! Even Jessica didn’t care about her mother’s reaction, she also left to her room, freshen up and went to bed; she was about sleeping when brother Chisom called her,
“Hello, sister Jessica, have you arrived home?”, He asked
“Good evening sir, not quite long I arrived sir. Sorry, I meant to say, I’ve arrived home”, she twisted
“It is well with your soul”, he replied with a declaration
“Amen sir! But, why did you call me when I just left the campus fellowship meeting and you weren’t able to reach the information you have for me”, she asked
“I had to speak to you on call as I told you before that, my observation was the reason why I called you to clearify data’s from you”, he replied
“What data do you want to clearify sir? I don’t understand because it’s not an office documents that we should be talking about data this time of the night”, she replied
“Okay! Am sorry, am not talking about office documents. But, its a surprising thing to me that the sister Jessica I use to know before is not the one am beholding now.”, He said
“Yes you are right, very right; but have you forgotten that human can change any moment because we are bound to adapt to change in any way it comes to us, either spiritually, physical or emotionally, so if you notice my changes, it’s not my fault but the choice and call of Nature to every being. Or can you tell me that you are still the same since 5years ago you started serving God up till now?” She asked after replying his question
“I’m not the same person in nature but in the spirit realm I know the level am up to”, he replied her very well
“That concerns you ooo”, she said
“Jessica, you have to be careful with those you walk around with; nobody is worthy trusting this days! Your enemy can be your best friend today and your best friend can turn to become your enemy tomorrow. You can never predict the mortif every human has in mind. I didn’t say you shouldn’t Love, but you need to taste the spirit of that Love, if it’s link to Lust or it’s pure, then you will be able to know where you belong to,” while he was yet speaking, Jessica cuts in*******************
“Who told you I’m in love with someone? Is that all what you have to say to me? Was that the reason why you called me to spend up my time when I should be sleeping at this moment” she replied him aggressively.
“I’m so sorry for disturbing your sleep or whatever you want to do, but I was troubled in my spirit to drop this message to you so that you can be able to take cautious for the betterment of your future and your ministry. Don’t forget, that whenever a shell is BROKEN, it doesn’t take prayers to remould it back. When a shell is broken, it doesn’t take fasting for weeks, months or years to recover it back to it’s form! Whenever it’s BROKEN, it remains forever broken and unrepaired. It’s my responsibility as a leader whenever I see my flock going astray or see what’s ahead of them, to caution them to re-step their foot.”, He advised.
Jessica was touched by those words from brother Chisom the campus fellowship leader.
“Thanks sir for your candid advice, I do really appreciate sir,” she appreciated
“It’s well with your soul,” he replied and hanged up the call…..
Jessica was unable to speak for good 20 minutes. She began to meditate on those words he heard for the last caller. Why he spoke to her about the shell.
While those thoughts and many others were running through her heart like a moving object. She Laid down on her bed, faced the ceiling with her eyes opened, then she immediately ran through a trance where she saw herself weeping seriously like a child. She was just crying out loud before her phone rang in the physical realm, it was Harrison.
“Hello dear Jessy”, Harry called
“Harry, am okay”, she replied
“Are you sure?” He asked
“Yes, I’m very sure, just that you shouldn’t have called me that moment when you got home, because I don’t want any crash with mum”, she said
“What’s the matter, is your mum angrily with you? Or did you disclose anything to her?”, He inquired
“She asked me what resulted to the dislocation of my leg, then she was able to decern that someone brought me home and that I went to see someone after the fellowship. It’s a surprise to me because I didn’t expect it at all how she came to know about all that,” she disclosed to Harrison her mother’s reaction.
“Jessy, you shouldn’t have acted as if tho it’s something serious. And next time before I call you, I will do send you a text so as to know when you are available for the call without your mum’s disturbance, and don’t tell her anything about me again. Trust me, I will make sure I make you the happiest woman on Earth with my time and care with excess Love I never shown to anyone; just trust me,” he advice and promised!
“Really?, You will make the happiest woman on Earth?,” She asked
“Yes, I promise I will, just watch out for me”, he assured
“Wow, am already feeling the fragrance of your Love”, Jessica Replied…..
