It’s on Sunday morning, Jessica received a call from an unknown caller. It’s strange to her because she expected any call from anyone at such a time! Well, she rushed close to her bed and took her phone then received the call.
“Hello, good morning, please who’s on the line?”she said but couldn’t clearly hear what the caller was saying, then she hanged up the call.
“The blood of Jesus! The blood of Jesus, upon my soul, my spirit and body, I am protected by the blood of Jesus”, she was afraid because it was strange to her.
Jessica is just a tender youth with the zeal to serve God. She got passion so much in the things of God. Perhaps, she came from a Christian background!
Jessica, being a child of God has been facing challenges so much from the opposite s*x in the campus and also in the church! Her parent instructed her not to stay in the hostel, but she always return home after lectures to avoid being toiled around with those guys outside!
Her mother had told her how great she’s gonna become in future. Personally, she had several dreams that encourages her and tips the future for her and how it’s gonna become! But, her challenge was to overcome those proposals and friend request trilling in to her inbox every breaking of the he day! Why is she avoiding and turning down their proposals, because she is focus youth, and she knew that allowing those guys around her will definitely make her to loss the focus why she’s in school, perhaps she is Never ready for any relationship or marriage!
This is a serious case to the lent that she made a covenant to God and promise to her parent to make them proud and successful graduate from the high institution with her Bible.
It’s becoming a deal this days, many youth who hail from a Christian home/background,went to the university after their admission, they ended up turning to become another person and practicing an ungodly lifestyle, but later pretend when they arrive their home!
It’s amazing to see Jessica entering into a covenant with God after the dream she had before she entered in the university!
Jessica, after the strange call she received that Sunday morning,she prepared and rushed to the church. She arrived the church at 7am in the dot. Her apparel became captivating as she modestly walk into the church auditorium, majestically!
“Hey, isn’t this Jessica, the sister I told you about”, John whisper to his friend Harrison.
“Oh, this is the sister you’ve been telling me about. I never knew she’s the one, so pretty and beautiful like the sun set at 12 noon”, Harrison said as she took a look at her while she walked in to the church.
“Harrison, please respect yourself and stop looking at her.”, John shouted at him.
“John,am sorry, I will leave her for you as you told me that you will love her to be your friend, but remember you that you will need me to be alble to convince her to accept to your request”, Harrison replied and left John at that spot. While Harrison left, he was pleading with him to come back,but he insisted and left his way!
Few hours later after the service, John met Harrison and apologized to him, Harrison had no option than to accept his apology as his tight friend!
“So,how do I get to talk to her”, John inquired from his friend!
“It’s never a big deal. You can’t get the goat with a gold,but with just a weed because that’s what he eats”, Harrison replied,
“Harry, Harry, this one that you are speaking in the parables of the goat! You better be serious and stop talking about a goat but Jessica, I need her”, John reciprocated!
Harrison burst out laughing unecessaryly!
“Are you laughing at me, Harrison”, he said
“No,just feel like laughing because I don’t think you know where Jessica is coming from. Her background, do you think all those sisters you’ve cornered in the church are similar like her! Everyone cant be the same, if that’s what you are thinking then you’re getting it wrong!”, John cuts in,
“Excuse me Harrison,what are you insuating that she’s different from those sisters in the church? How many head was she created with? Don’t tell me she’s the holiest than others”
“John, listen, Jessica is coming from a Christain background,I learnt that she doesn’t mingle around with any man, she’s had to get, she’s had to talk to. Well, I cant predict if she will pay me attention, then,maybe she will fall in pleasant places to you”, Harrison replied,lo as they yet speak, Jessica was majestically coming out from the church auditorium.
“Its an opportunity for you to approach her now”, John reminded him,and Harrison ignored him but went straight to her!
“Hello, sister Jessica”, Harrison greeted
“Hi, how do you know my name?”, Jessica replied
“Well, not everyone that has a decerning spirit,I was able to decern your name”, he replied,
“Hey bro,forget about decerning spirit here, well, that’s by the way. How may I help you”, she asked,
“Wow, I saw you this morning while you coming to the church,you appear so beautiful,I never knew you were this beautiful”, he flattered Jessica
“Hey, please, stop flattering me,is that why you called my attention?”, She asked,
“Hmm…. Not really. I, I, (starmering) I , please can I get your contact?”, He requested
“My contact, hope no problem?,she qsked
“Well, nothing much,just needed to confirm something from you, I know you school in Nekede, he asked
“Yes, how did you know that?, She asked
“I told you I have a decerning spirit, Harrison replied
“Leave that decerning spirit alone,you aren’t decerning the right thing,I guess you’re also a student of Nekede?, She asked
“Yes, I am, he replied.
“Alright, no problem”, she said and gave him her contact and left!
John was already called on to their conversation acting like a young man playing a soccer game and reacting like when he wants to score a goal!
“Oh yes, I got her number,but I won’t give you yet”, Harrison said
“Why won’t you give me?,he asked.
“Because I know you will be a troubleshooter to her,but let me tell you, she’s very hard to get, infact,she’s hard like that of the shell of a tortise!, Harrison replied him, but later exchanged the number to him.
