IF ONLY I HAD WAITED

Part 11
“Could you believe that I met pastor Badelolu at one herbalist’s house.” I said.
“You mean Pastor Badelolu, the pastor of a very popular church in this land? ” He asked.
I replied positively.
“How did you know?” He asked.
I narrated my ordeals to him.
****
My friend took me to a man who happened to be a herbalist. He took me there out of pity and compassion😁. On getting to the man, the man told my friend to sleep with me. It wasn’t too easy at first for him to do so, but he later agreed.
Before we slept together, the man did a lot of rituals on my behalf. He made a lot of incantations on my friend’s body before we later did the real deed.
After the real act in the herbalist’s house, right in his presence, we were instructed to always perform the act regularly. That was what made me very frequent in my friend’s house.
I decided to visit the herbalist to complete the necessary rites that were needed to be done. On getting there, I met Pastor Badelolu. He was inside while Baba was chanting some incantations for him.
Immediately he saw me, he shivered because he was someone well known to me. I thought he was a real child of God. I thought he was a true minister of God.
He was speechless. The way he looked at me made me fret. He finally left. I was attended to.
When I got home, he placed a call across to me. He warned me not to tell anyone. He was sincere with me. He told me all he had been through as a result of trying to be a famous and well renowned pastor.
🤔 I think God used him to speak to me to turn back from what I had done. God used him to reveal what would be the aftermath. I knew it wasn’t easy for him to say somethings. It wasn’t easy. I knew he told me all he said at his own risk.
Instead of me to take heed to what he said, I turned dead ears.
To cut the whole long story short, the child later died. Pastor Badelolu later gave up the ghost. He was wise enough to counsel me, but he wasn’t wise enough to counsel himself. He didn’t do what he was telling me to do. All he ever had in a hurry went down the drain. All his fame, riches went just like that. At the end, he died a miserable death. His end was worst than his beginning.
If I had actually waited, I wouldn’t have wasted years in childbearing.
Remember I told you that my answer was very nigh when I went out of God’s will to get a child at all cost. If I had waited enough, I believe my children would have been married.
When I finally got my child from the devil, she died, when she was 10. I wasted more than 17 years before I was able to conceive.
Yes, my husband and I finally reconciled. I forgave him. He also forgave me for everything I did. We both drew ourselves to God. We started our journey afresh. Although, age wasn’t on our sides. We hoped against hope that God was going to finally give us our own child/children.
God finally remembered us. He gave us a set of twins.
I just want you to know that in God’s time table, there is no lateness. He is always on time. To you, you may think God is late. To Him, that is His appointed time. He knows and understands things more that you do. You can’t fathom why sometimes it takes time before our prayers are being answered.
Sarah got a child at the age of 90 years. It wasn’t as if she really committed a huge offence. It wasn’t as if she was hated by God. But, God allowed it to be like that. He permitted it like that. I’m sure Abraham prayed and fasted because of his childlessness, yet God answered him at the appointed time. Despite the delay, God challenged Abraham to keep following him with a perfect heart. He did and at the end, God rewarded him for being faithful.
Hannah was barren for years. Her husband second wife already gave birth to 10 children while she was yet to have one. She realized that human being couldn’t solve her problem. She knew her husband wasn’t in the right position to make her a mother. She knew human beings have limitations. That was why she poured out her heart to God. She groaned in her spirit. She couldn’t utter some words out to people hearings. She expressed herself in deep tears. No wonder her lips were moving. No wonder the priest thought she was drunk. The God of all flesh heard her prayers. God understood everything. God read her groans. God read her tears. God saw everything. Look at it, she finally gave birth to a son that was 100 times better than that of her husbandl second wife’s children. Or have you ever heard Peninnah’s child before in the Bible? You will agree with me that Samuel, the son of Hannah was well known in the Bible.
Sometimes, you may not understand the reasons behind the delay. I just want you to keep your gaze on God. No man has any solution to your problem.
Dear, don’t ask men what only God can do. If you do that, you will later end up wasting your time because no man can give solutions to your problems. Depending on devil to give solutions is just a waste of time because whatever devil gives you is temporary. He will collect it back from you in hundred folds. Your end may be miserable.
So, keep trusting God. God hasn’t forgotten you. He is going to make your life beautiful very soon. Just don’t cut shorts. Don’t look for shortcuts because shortcuts can cut your life short.
I know you’ll be wondering what happened to my mother-in-law.
Well, she gave up the ghost.
Don’t give up on God dear friend. The whole world may mock you and call you names, but by the time God transforms your life finish they will all be put to shame. They will never be able to recover from the news of what God has done for you.
Dear friend, keep trusting God. Don’t you dare forsake your maker who has solutions to all your problems. Don’t stop serving God because of mockery from people. Rather, keep serving Him because He will definitely reward your faithfulness and cause you to shout for joy.
Dear, your testimony is near. Keep holding on.
To everyone who is yet to have the fruits of the womb, may God remember you this year. May He put the devil to shame in your life. Amen.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
THE END.
