Rachel thought of sending message to Elijah, she quickly typed it and waited for his reaction.
Elijah rushed out immediately,
“What happened to my roommate, what did Rebecca do to him. He promised to be at my bachelors eve last night but I didn’t see him, I wasn’t bothered because he never approved my marriage with Rebecca”
“You need to be bothered, Rebecca said your roommate made some statement some times ago, that he won’t allow you to marry her when he is alive. So.. he got him ki..lled” she stammered
“Killed who? Elijah fainted.
“Help me, please help” she raised alarm. Elijah was rushed quickly to the hospital
Rebecca kept looking at the time, “Where is my husband?” she asked pacing around the room
Some police men walked in,
“Please we are looking for one Rebecca Cosmos.”
“What happened where is my husband” she jumped up
“We are from the state CID you are under arrest for the murder of Nathan who happened to be Elijah’s roommate.”
“That’s not true Daddy don’t let them take me” He ran into her Father’s arm.
“Madam we will advise you to follow us gently, anything you say here will be used against you in the court of law”
“You can’t arrest me today is my wedding day.” Her Dad urge her to go, giving her assurance she will be back shortly.
She was presented before the DPO.
“Madam why did you kill Nathan”
“I did not kill him, what evidence do you have.” She asked bluntly
“You want me to bring out the evidence? ok bring them in” The DPO instructed one of the officers.
The officer returned with Rachel and the guys he sent to kill Nathan.
“Rachel you betrayed me” she cried
“Take them back, you can release Rachel.
So madam are you guilty or not?” The DPO asked again.
Rebecca could not reply but bowed her head in shame.
Rachel returned to the hospital where Elijah was admitted.
“How are you feeling sir?”
“I think I’m better, why will Rebecca do such a thing, Why?, what will become of my child that’s in her womb”
“The child is not yours” Rachel revealed “She got pregnant for one of our lecturers, she just wanted to force the pregnancy on you”
Elijah broke down in tears.
“I’ve been deceived”
Madam Cecilia was moved from one hospital to another.
“All the test I carried out on her showed nothing is wrong with her, I will advise you go spiritual” A Doctor advised her sister.

Mary assigned some committee to start awareness for her coming crusade which is going to start in Nigeria. They began publicity in the whole of Benin City.
Madam Cecilia Sister heard about the crusade
“Sister please relax, I heard there is a crusade coming up in weeks time, we should plan to attend since the Doctor advised we go spiritual.”
Elijah saw the flyer
“Is this not Mary?” He asked in disbelief.
“Saint Mary invade Benin City”
He read the caption again and again.
“No body can be looked down upon, so this is what God has in store for me, and I was busy forcing myself on Rebecca”
The Caregiver was seen in a beer parlour with her man friend.
“Do you hear about the crusade coming up next week” she asked.
“Yes oh, I saw the flyer from somebody and I will be there because there’s something I would like to confirm, the lady on the flyer look like my step daughter, but she can never be the one, who dash her monkey banana” They laughed.
The day of the crusade fully came. Thousands of people were gathered.
“Those who are sick should find their way forward before the guest minister mont the podium.” Pastor Noel said
Madam Cecilia sister dragged her to the front with baby Wealth on her back.
“Even if I’m not sick, I must see Mary” Elijah said finding his way to the front.
The Caregiver and her man friend; Mary’s step dad opened their mouth in awe when Mary mont the stage.
“She’s the one” He exclaimed
“This is your step daughter, I know her very well, she was in my rehabilitation center months ago”
“Let’s go” They left the gathering.
Before Mary uttered a word, many people has falling under her anointing.
“Praise God people of God, check yourself now, do those things you can’t do before, if your illness still persist, be on a straight line, I would love to lay hands on you.” She said
Noel whispered few words in her ear. Elijah who was already on the line became jealous after watching the scenario
“That must be her husband, he is all over her, let me respect myself and leave” He left the line, hid in a corner and cried. “I’ve lost her” He concluded.
Mary got to her mother’s turn.
She and her sister screamed “Jesus!” When they sighted her.
“Mummy?”
“Mary my pikin, na you be this?”
