MY JOURNEY AS A SINGLE MOTHER.

Part 17

By Authoress Rhoda.

“Esther, who is Leke to you?” I asked.

I was just curious to know who that guy was.

***

“Bisi, Leke is the Prayer coordinator in my previous fellowship. I was attending his fellowship before I left, because I wasn’t stable in God. I left that fellowship because I was like a nonentity there. No love at all. It was as if I was the only sinner in the church while others were saints going to heaven.

When I was raped, the shame became unbearable for me to attend that fellowship, because I was not really welcomed in their midst. In fact, they really did a lot that I don’t think I will like to talk about.

So, I had no choice than to leave that church for them. Immediately I left, I stopped attending any fellowship until I encountered Christ in my dream.

The following day I had that dream, someone was sent to me to show me the way just like in the case of Paul and Brother Anania in the Bible. Along the line, I ended up attending her fellowship that you are attending now. That sister that God sent to me is our current sister welfare coordinator.” She said.

” You mean Sister Adebimpe?” I asked.

She nodded her head.

” Wow, God is good.” I replied.

” Yes, Bisi, when I was still in that fellowship, Leke was a tongue speaking brother. He performed miracles. He did a lot. I mean, he really did great exploits. I had him in my heart. I had a soft spot for him.

I wish he was my husband. I really lusted after him because he was handsome and very spiritual. I could remember I really tried my best to have his attention, because of how desperate I was to have him as my man, I cooked for him for days and took those meals to the secretariat yet, he didn’t notice me. He didn’t know I had a mission. I nursed the feelings in my heart for long. I knew I was madly in love with him.

When I finally left the fellowship, I discarded all the feelings I had about him.

When he told me he wanted to see me one day, I never thought of “relationship” or “will of God issue”. I thought he wanted to see me based on the fact that I left the fellowship.

Even if it was for that reason, that means they didn’t do well at all. Imagine someone calling you or asking after you after 4 months of being absent in the fellowship. In fact not even a single member of that fellowship visited me to know why I left the fellowship.

To cut the long story short, I went to see him. That was when he told me he was interested in me.

My joy knew no bound when he proposed to me. That was someone I lusted after for months. I didn’t really pray about it because I felt as a prayer coordinator, God would have revealed it to him that I was his perfect match. I felt he was walking very close to God to the extent of listening and hearing God’s heart beats.

I never knew I was wrong since all this while.” She narrated.

Hmmmm, Esther, your phone is ringing, pick it up.” I said as I passed the phone to her.

Before I handed over the phone to her, I checked who the caller was. I saw ” my lover”. My lover was the caller

“If you call this line again you fool, I will make sure I disgrace you.” Esther said angrily.

I asked who her lover was.

“Brother Leke.” She said, looking at me as if I was disgusting because she knew I was going to mock her.

” OK ooo, lover girl. What has the lover said or done again this time o.” I said sarcastically.

“Bisi, you want me to kill the devil in you.” She said angrily as she threw the pillow at me. I laughed.

🤣🤣🤣

*Bisi, Leke begged me not to inform anyone about the incidence inorder not to spoil his reputation in the church.” She said.

I laughed 🤣🤣🤣.

“His reputation is gone.” I shouted.

“Esther, God cannot be deceived. In fact, no one can deceive God. Look at my case. Brother Gbolahan was someone I never thought could have done what he did, because I thought he was a very sound Christian.

Don’t be surprised if your so called pastor doesn’t make it to heaven because of his secret sins. Don’t be surprised if your so called “papa”, “mama” don’t later make it to heaven. I mean, don’t be deceived by tongues. Many people blast into tongues that are not recognized in heaven. Yes, powerless tongues, yet many people are deceived, not knowing that people like that are abandoned vessels before God.

Get me right, sister. I am not saying that our pastor will go to hell. ” I said trying to make myself clear.

Esther nodded her head.

” Esther, not everyone that calls “Lord!” shall enter into the kingdom of God. Not everyone that speaks in tongues shall enter into the kingdom of God. Not everyone that goes to church, carries bible, sing as a member of the chorister, do this or that in the vineyard of God shall enter into the kingdom of God, except those that do the will of God.

Sister, we cannot deceive God. We can’t hide anything from God. We can cover our sins, thinking no body knows. Remember, God sees everything! God knows everything!

No wonder the Bible says in the book of Psalm 94:9👇

“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?”

In verse 11, the Lord knoweth the thoughts of man.

Nothing, I mean nothing is hidden
in the sight of God. We can deceive our leaders. We can deceive every one in the fellowship, but we just can’t deceive our creator.

No wonder the bible made us to understand in the book of 1st Timothy chapter 2 verse 19 that the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, THE LORD KNOWS THEM THAT ARE HIS.

Dear, let’s keep serving God even when our leaders in the church are hypocrites, because I believe God recognize us.” I said.

” Bisi, you are very right. May we not be abandoned vessels in the hands of God in Jesus name.”She said.

” Amen!!! ” I shouted.

” At least, you need to thank God for His mercy despite the fact that you didn’t even involve Him in your relationship with Leke. Yet, mercy spoke for you.

God’s mercy delivered you from his hands. Maybe you would have married a devil claiming to be an angel that can devour your life at anytime without you suspecting any thing.” I said.

” It is true, Bisi. I thought it was just a little matter.” She said.

” What do you mean by little matter. What you just called little matter has destroyed the lives of millions of people today. In fact, even if it is a little matter, can’t you involve God?

God is interested in that tiny matter of your life. In fact, God knows the tiny matters in your life. No wonder he knows the number of hair you have on that your small head.” I said, touching her head.

“You are not serious. I’m the one having small head, right? My head is even bigger than your head. It is true Esther. As from now, I will involve God in every thing I do whether small or great.” Esther said.

“That’s my darling sister. “I shouted.

We discussed other issues. As we were still discussing, Esther received a message.
