MY JOURNEY AS A SINGLE MOTHER.
Part 7.

I thought my friend was still a virgin. It was when I got to her hostel that I began to see the other side of her.
“Dami, could you believe my room mates set me up?” I said, trying to bring up an interesting conversation.
“And so? Why won’t they set you up when all you know how to do is holy holy.” She replied.
I was surprised.
“Is that all you will say? Aren’t we both christians? ” I asked.
She really insulted me. It was as if I should cry.
I thought she was a good sister. I remembered telling her all about my life.
I faced my business since she was attacking me badly with her words.
After one hour, we started talking again.
“Dami, how far? Is the lecturer still disturbing you?” I was very curious to know.
“That man? I finally allowed him to have his way ooo.” She said.
I shouted.
“What did you just say? Are you telling me you slept with him?” I asked.
“Yes, I’m tired of failing my examination. I’m tired, since God isn’t interested in me.” She said.
“You shouldn’t have done that. Dear, God has a great plan for you. He hasn’t forgotten you. Situations around you may make it seem as if God is far from you.
Even if you are passing through the hottest fire, God is still there with you. You shouldn’t have slept with him. God knows how to deliver His own. One thing I’m always sure of is that storms of life cannot overcome a believer.
God allowed him to fail you because of a reason. If God wasn’t aware of it, He wouldn’t have allowed him to fail you. God actually wanted to decorate your life with outstanding success despite all the failures you have been having. Sometimes, how God works is a mystery.
Sometimes, we don’t seem to understand things, but God knows what He is doing. God knows more than what we know. God is a wise God. That is why we have to allow things to flow as it is. That is why you must not assist or help God. Can anyone even help God?
That’s why we need to allow God to take the wheels of our lives. Let Him take over because you are limited. You don’t know what tomorrow holds for you, but He knows all.
God actually wanted to use your life to bless others. Your life would have been a lesson to many girls out there that are being threatened by lecturers. Your life would have been a source of inspiration to people. In fact, it would have encouraged many to stand firmly in Christ, but you were tired of the building process
You were tired of trusting God because you thought God was late.
You were tired of being moulded in the hands of God. You were tired of God, beautifying your life. You looked for shortcuts. May I tell you dear, that the devil is after you right now because you slept with a demon. Your glory has been taken away from you. You’ve become an empty vessel. Run to God for mercy.” I spoke to her as led by God.
” You are stup.id, Bisi. Well, you’ve given an interesting speech so far. I don’t know you can talk like these before? “She said sarcastically.
I was communing with God in my heart to touch her. If only she knew what having se.x with that man has caused her destiny. If only she knew that she was a walking corpse, she would have run to God for mercy as soon as possible.
” God, please open her eyes.” I muttered.
“God, please open her eyes to see what you’re showing me.” I prayed.
The devil really blinded her heart. I thought she was feeling guilty for her actions. I thought she was pleading for mercy in her heart, because we were silent for minutes.
“Yes, keep asking God for forgiveness. God can forgive you irrespective of your sins. God can give you a new chance. Yes, God is a God of second chance. God will in no wise cast you out from His presence. Keep praying to God.” I said, trying to motivate her to keep praying because I thought she was praying to God silently.
She laughed all of a sudden, sarcastically.
I became like a fool.
” Who is praying? Praying to your dead God that couldn’t help me? Spare me that.” She said as she walked to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
“God, no!!! The heart of a king is in your hand… I sense danger ahead of this girl. God, touch her heart. Have mercy on her…” I prayed fervently in the spirit for 2 hours.
After the prayers, she told me she wanted to visit one of her friends.
I told her to be very careful.
She smiled and left. It was as if God should touch her immediately because I knew she was going to the lecturer’s place for another dose.

Dear reader, I want you to know that God controls everything in life. Sometimes, answers to your prayers don’t come forth immediately. Some prayers are answered immediately.
Whether your prayers are answered immediately or not, I don’t want you to give up on God. As long as you’ve spoken to God about something, be rest assured that God will grant you answers AT THE APPOINTED TIME.
The appointed time may be very soon or later. So, keep your trust in God. Don’t be weary of waiting on God because it is only God that can give lasting solutions to your problems without collecting a dime.
But, if you look for shortcuts from the devil, be rest assured that, that short cut will definitely cut your life short. Devil doesn’t give anything without collecting something huge and special in return. Besides, devil gives temporary solutions to problems which aren’t free at all. So, BE CAREFUL.
Sometimes, it may seem as if God is silent about your matter. Well, I want you to know that God is not dead. He is not blind. He is not deaf. He is not dumb. He is still right there with you, working things out for you. Keep your faith high in God.
By the time God answers your prayers, don’t forget your authoress once said “God is not a man that He should lie. God will surely give answers to your prayers at the appointed time, which He has done.” Trust me, your life shall be a great testimony to millions of people out there. JUST KEEP HOLDING ON TO GOD🥰❤️.

Dami came back home tired. I let her be and went to church.
When I came back, she was awake. She was very happy.
” What actually happened, Dami? Gist me.” I asked.
“It’s the lecturer oo.” She replied happily.
“What about him? What has he done again?” I asked.
“Bisi, I passed my course. He even gave me money. I mean 150k for satisfying him well on bed.” She said.
“Dami, not again! You still slept with him? Do you want this man to finally ruin your life?” I asked.
“Bisi, no one told me that se.x is sweet oo. If I knew it was sweet, I would have been doing it for long.” She said happily.
I became confused.
“Dami, this se.x can lead you to your early grave if you don’t stop it.”I said trying to threathen her.
” Stu.pid girl. Shu.t up!!” She said.
In the midnight, something happened.
