But Queen mother, it is obvious we are no match for these people. You may be immortal, but I’m not. I’m still young. I didn’t bargain for this.” Linda shook with fear.

This ignorant girl is giving me problems and is likely to cause trouble for me. Queen mother was beginning to regret the action of kidnapping and initiating Linda into the kingdom at a very tender age.

“Then stay back! You’ll only be a distraction anyway.” Queen mother barked.

“THUS SAITH THE LORD, My children, I forbeared with you for long, thinking you will repent and go back to your first love, but you didn’t. So I sent a girl into your midst to prove you and, that in your weaknesses you will turn back to Me as your only source of strength and power. My mercy abounds forever and My covenant is sealed upon this household.” The Gen sec, Sister Modupe cried out under a strong prophetic unction.

The Shekinah glory of God was heavy upon the house as the HolySpirit fell upon them afresh.
There were breakouts into new gifts and a sharpening of former ones.

President Gbile, who had not heard the voice of God in months, could now hear Him audibly, and began to speak in diverse kinds of tongues.

Sister Eunice, who hadn’t spoken one tongue in her entire life, broke out in prophecy, unable to control herself as she shook hysterically, scattering all the plastic chairs around her.

Sister Modupe’s discernment got sharpened and without stress, she could distinguish between an angel of light and that of darkness. She was no longer concerned about outward beauty anymore. Her obsession had changed.

Bro Fola’s passion for the lost was multiplied unto him as the Lord overwhelmed him with compassion for lost souls accompanied with the gift of the working of miracles and a voice that can’t be ignored or overlooked. Anyone who he would preach Christ to, would get converted at that spot.

It was a midnight of fresh outpouring.
Everyone got something. The nine gifts of the HolySpirit was poured out freely as He willed.

As for Prayo Moses, he was no longer in the church auditorium. He had transcended to another realm.

“If you can hear me, hear me!” President Gbile said at the top of his voice, because many of the Executive were already slain in the Spirit.

“The Lord says we are on the battle ground already. Forces are coming, but this battle is not ours to fight. Let’s take this warfare song.

It is the Lord’s battle
It is not our battle
The Lord will fight for us
And we will hold our peace
It is the Holy Ghost war!

The sound of their clapping hands were deafening and with their voices roaring like thunder, they were charged for battle.
After some minutes…

“Brethren stop! My spirit tells me we are not alone.” Sister Modupe said.
And indeed, they weren’t.

Just outside the auditorium, the forces of darkness had stationed themselves. The agents of darkness were prepared for battle. Queen Mother took position as the leader in front of them as she held on to her Sceptre of power with all her might.

It was almost dawn.
By this time, most of the Exco who were slain in the Spirit had risen up from their journey.
Their boldness came from above as they marched fearlessly to the entrance of the church building to confront the trespassers.

With the full armour of God, and the Word of God in their hands and hearts, they felt invincible.
The President took a stand as the leader in front of the other Executive.

“Surrender now, and we would spare the lives of Kenneth in the hospital, and Rotimi who lay lifeless in your midst!” Queen Mother shouted. They couldn’t go anywhere near the fellowship grounds, so they gave a reasonable distance between them and the fellowship which was enveloped in thick white clouds.

“Insist to battle, and you not only lose them, but lose your wretched lives also.” Her eyes had turned bloody with power. Before coming to challenge them, she had bathed with the blood of her dear son, Haman. Her mourning had turned to wrath, and she planned to release it all on the fellowship.

The children of Light could feel the rage in her voice as she spoke. But they were unshakable.

“What fellowship has Light with darkness? Or what communion does the children of God have with Belial? We don’t negotiate with the devil!” President Gbile announced.

“Then prepare to face your doom! It’s a pity you all are too young to die, but if that’s how you want it…” Queen mother was swaying as she spoke. Her eyeballs were dancing around her eye as her hair floated on its own accord. They seemed to have a life of their own.

“Never!” President Gbile boomeranged.
“Is it not written? That I shall not die, but live, to declare the works of the Lord, in the land of the living?!”

“Shut up your mouth! That may be true, but the Holy book says, ‘the wages of sin is death’. You and your ignorant folks won’t live to see the dawn of day”. She retorted.

“Yes, it also says, ‘and the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord’.” At the mention of the name Jesus, Queen mother staggered few feet backwards and managed to maintain balance with her staff but many of her cohorts fell to the ground.

“Lift up your heads o ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, that the King of Glory will come in.” President Gbile charged.

“And who is this King of Glory? Where is he?!” Queen mother looked sideways. Seeing nobody, she let out a laugh in mockery.

“The Lord, mighty in battle, He is the king of glory!” President Gbile fired back. “The Lord is our light and our salvation. Whom shall we fear? The Lord is the strength of our lives. Of whom shall we be afraid? When the wicked, even our enemies and our foes, came upon us to eat up our flesh, they stumble and fell!”

When he saw they were short of words, he switched to tongues, then continued. The rest of the Exco were blasting in fiery tongues behind him.
