Chapter 5
Sandra was bathing her three years old daughter Kiara when her phone rang, she took a good look at the phone and sighed
An unknown number was calling her, Edozie urged her to pick the call which she gladly did
“That girl belongs to me Sandra, she is mine” Michael roared through the phone
Who are you please? Which girl belongs to you? Sandra questioned pretending not to know who the caller was
I’ll be in Abuja by Sunday, I’ll call you and tell you where to drop that girl… Michael said and ended the call
“That’s Michael” Edozie said laughing
Michael should let me be,why is he disturbing my life eh,he denied this girl ooo what does he want again? Sandra shouted crying
It’s fine stop crying, Michael wants to dare me,we shall see..
Edozie stood up and left the house fuming, Khloe came inside looking at Sandra with a frowned face
Better return this girl to the owner.. Khloe told her
Are you sick? Were you not there when he denied the pregnancy? Something is wrong with your brain? Sandra shouted at her with tears all over her face
I’m not sick Sandra,I’m just telling you this to avoid Michael’s trouble, I don’t even want to keep talking about all this nonsense.. Khloe replied and left her
Sandra stared at her baby and wiped off her tears, she stood up from where she has been sitting and went to the parlour still petting her daughter for her to sleep

Michael tried reaching Sandra’s mum but her phone was switched off,he decided to pay her a visit with lots of goodies
He was bringing down the goodies when Sandra’s mum came out looking at him like when someone has seen a ghost, she didn’t respond to his greetings she kept on looking at him until he was done bringing out his bribes
What do you want? Sandra’s mum asked
Let’s go inside and talk ma..He replied smiling
Enter where? Inside my house? Are you stupid? After denying Sandra’s pregnancy you still have the audacity to step your filthy feet’s here, now before the counting of 5 you have disappeared from here..1..2.. oh you’re still there,wait for me I’m coming.. Sandra’s mum shouted going inside the house
She came out with a cutlass and started cutting everything into two, she destroyed Michael’s car, Michael had no other option but to leave everything behind,he booked an Uber and left the compound
Clara, khloe’s mum came out the moment she saw Mary going inside the house, she packed half of the goodies and tried running inside with them when Mary screamed calling her names
“I was thinking that you don’t need them ooo” Clara said with a calm voice
“Thinking your head Clara,go and drop those things now ” Mary commanded
I don’t want this things to waste mummy Sandra and we haven’t been feeding well for three days now.. Clara pleaded
So your voice can be this low eh? Mary asked laughing
Please I’m sorry for everything biko Nwunye dim ( please my co-wife)
Mary had pity on her and asked to carry them,Clara thanked her

Michael located Edozie’s house in Abuja,he paid them a surprise visit
Sandra was shocked, she ran and carried her daughter the moment Michael entered the house
Edozie stood up from where he sat,he moped at Michael for a while and then shook hands with him
Edozie picked up his phone and sent a text message to Sandra not knowing that Sandra’s phone was beside Michael who tapped the screen of the phone and the text message popped up “Honey take Kiara out of the house from the back door” said the text message
Michael looked at him and smiled like nothing happened
“SHE IS MINE” Michael said as his eyes got stucked at the framed picture on the wall
Please don’t start Michael, leave my house.. Edozie shouted
I am not going anywhere without my daughter, that girl belongs to me.. Michael replied
You denied her didn’t you?
I never did Edozie, ain’t you ashamed of yourself? You got married to my woman, the mother of my kid Edozie.. Michael barked hitting his hand on the table
Sandra came downstairs carrying Kiara
Edozie’s eyes widened,he wasn’t expecting such from Sandra
He looked at Sandra from head to toe and shouted telling her to run upstairs knowing fully well that Sandra and Kiara were in danger including his own life
