Why would Micheal be angry at thomas, is it because of me,is he jealous?i said in my mind.
“When are you going? I asked him.
“Next week, i don’t even know anybody in that state, i don’t even know why the CEO is doing this to me” he said sadly.
“Don’t worry the lord will see you through ” i said as i patted him. Michael entered my office and saw the both of us.
“Mr thomas what are you doing here? He asked.
“I came to give her something, i will take my leave now , miss hannah see you later” he said as he walked out of my office.
“Miss hannah, i can see that you are very free enough to entertain people,sort out this files ” he said as he dropped the files on my table and he left. What’s wrong with this man 😅. When it was closing time, i was done with my files so i went to the CEO office and i submitted them to him.
” am sure ,thomas must be waiting for you to offer you his last ride,hope you know he is getting transferred? He asked.
“Yes sir ,i know” i replied.
“That’s good , enjoy the ride” he said as he faced what he was doing before, when i got outside the company, i didn’t see thomas so i called him.
“Hello, where are you? I thought you said you were outside? I said.
“Sorry sweetie, the CEO called me back in to sort some out somethings, sorry i won’t be able to take you home today, i am so sorry” thomas said .
“Okay, no problem ” i said as i ended the call. Then someone packed in front of me , it was micheal.
“Hop in, let me take you home” he said as he opened the door. I was just looking at him. I was excited because he wanted to take me home, but i had to pretend😏.
“Don’t worry sir, i will sort myself out” i said.
“Hannah, don’t let me repeat myself ” he said angrily. Do you want to kidnap me?i said in my mind as i later entered his car. I didn’t talk much in the car, he was just gisting me and i was laughing at some funny ones, i was also directing him, when we got to my house, he looked at me.
“Why are you not living in your former house, i thought it was your dad that built it, why are you living in this place? He asked as he observed our house from outside.
“Yea, it was my dad that built it, but something happened we had to sell it” i said sadly.
“What happened? He asked.
“Don’t worry, it is in the past ” i said. He held my hand and looked into my eyes, i was staring into his beautiful eyes.
“Hannah,please tell me, what happened? He asked. Then i decided to tell him.
“My dad had kidney problem that time , when we were still dating so we had to raise money for kidney transplant, that was why we had to sell the house” i said.
“You mean your dad had kidney problem and you didn’t tell me then” he said.
“Yes, i didn’t want to tell you” i replied.
“Don’t tell me that, that was the reason why you broke up with me? He asked.
“No, yes that was part of the reason, i didn’t mean to breakup with you, but that time i needed money” i said.
” you should have asked me” he said.
“No i was ashamed, you have done enough for our family, you were the one that paid my mom loan and so many other things, i was ashamed, you couldn’t even provide that huge amount that time, so i had to find other means to raise up the money, my mom’s friend was very rich , so my mom asked her to borrow her money, she decided to even give my mom money for free,if only i could marry her physically challenged son, trust me ,i didn’t want to but i had no option, so i had to break up with you that time”i said .
” did you marry him ? He asked me. If i married him will i be here😒🙄
“No, i didn’t ,my dad old friend later raised the money for us, i couldn’t come back to meet you because i was ashamed, because i knew i hurt you” i said as i bursted into tears, he hugged me and comforted me.
