Madam Bamina’s Br0thel
Episode 5 (The end)
The clock in Cheta’s room chimed 6:20am and that was exactly when she woke up. She slept very peacefully the previous night. It was almost as if she took a sedative that made her sleep without turning even once in the night. It may be because she slept with the love of her life, Tunde.
When she woke up that morning, she did not see Tunde on the bed. Her heart started beating very fast as she became very worried and terribly disturbed.
“Where is my love? Where is Tunde?” Cheta asked no one in particular. She was not wearing anything, so she stood up from the bed and covered herself with the bedclothes. She pulled the door of her room open but before she could leave outside, Tunde entered the room with his toothbrush and a cup in his hand.
“Oh, my God! You scared me. I was becoming afraid that you are dead. Thank goodness you are alive.” Cheta tells Tunde.
“Why would I die? Or is there poison in your body? Did you give me poison in the night?” Tunde asked, bewildered.
“No, I mean…….I mean I’m just happy that we spent the night together and we made love. It was so wonderful that it is almost making me mad. It is making me to say ‘yeye yeye things.” Cheta responded.
She did not want to go further so that she will not say too much about herself. Inwardly, she was so happy that Tunde did not die like every other man that have touched her in the past. She decided to change the topic.
“So when are you going to see my parents?” Cheta asked. She did not want to waste any more time now that she has finally found a man she loves and who did not die after touching her.
After Tunde made love to her the previous night, it was like a veil fell from her eyes and she could then see clearly. The strong love between her and Tunde broke the yoke placed on her by her father.
“Actually, I have been thinking about that.” Tunde said.
“So when are we going to Nigeria?” Cheta kept asking. She wanted to get a definite answer from Tunde. Like every other wise girl, she needed to know the direction of the relationship so that she will not be waiting for a ship at the airport.
“I can only travel to Nigeria by next year. I just returned from home a few months ago. But you know what? Let’s get married here. By next year, we can go to your village and perform the marriage rites.” Tunde said.
“That sounds like a perfect idea. I have been having this bad feeling about my village. I feel like the place is not for me. I could not progress until I left the place. Somehow, I feel like Madam Bambina helped to rescue me from something bad in my father’s compound. I never made love while in the village and I never desired men like a normal lady.” Cheta said.

“I didn’t know you are a superstitious person.” Tunde responded.
“I’m not, really. I just have a different feeling since yesterday night after you took my virginity. I liked it when I saw the blood flowing like a river from me. It feels awesome. Like, I was liberated from something sinister. Love is truly something very strong.” Cheta said as she drew closer to Tunde. By then, he had entered the room and dropped his cup and toothbrush on the center table. Both Tunde and Cheta were now sitting on the bed. The mattress is so high that when they sat on it, their legs barely touched the floor.
Weeks ago, Tunde had decided that he would spend the rest of his life with Cheta. He had bought a diamond engagement ring but was not sure of himself because Cheta had rebuffed all pleas to allow him to make love to her. At one point, he started to think that she may be a lesbian. But since last night, the matter became settled and he was now finally ready to pop the question.
They were still seated on the bed when Tunde went down on his knees and brought out the sparkling diamond ring from his shirt pocket.
“Will you marry me Cheta?” Tunde asked. Cheta felt a rush of happiness down her spine. She had never felt that way before in the presence of a man. The feeling was so powerful that she did not waste any time in accepting the ring.
“Yes! Yes! Yes a thousand times. I will marry you Tunde.” She said as Tunde gently inserted the ring into her finger. It was such a romantic moment. Cheta was totally over the moon. They both kissed each other passionately.

“Sorry, I have not brushed my teeth. Is my mouth smelling?” Cheta asked Tunde after they kissed.
“I don’t care about the odour of your mouth. I love you even if you smell.” Tunde said as he drew her closer and kissed her passionately again. It was not long before they fell on the bed and started from where they stopped the night before. It was like a celebration of conjugal bliss.
Three months after the proposal, Tunde and Cheta went to a court in Lybia and sealed their marriage. Cheta was already pregnant with their first baby and she had moved into Tunde’s house.
That was how a girl trafficked into pr0stitution found the love of her life.
