Sandra lay on the hospital bed half lifeless, she was breathing slowly
She fell I’ll after one week Khloe told her about the plan, she was rushed to the hospital where the doctor confirmed that she is suffering from kidney failure
Khloe didn’t waste time to inform Sandra’s parents and Michael about it
Sandra’s mum couldn’t hold herself, she wailed all through the night begging her husband to transport her to Abuja to go see her daughter
Her husband tried his best to console her but couldn’t he had no other alternative than to send her to Abuja the next day, Khloe picked her from the park and took her to the hospital where Sandra lay with her swollen face and legs
Sandra!! Her mum screamed immediately she saw her daughter
Mum.. she responded slowly
What did the doctor say Khloe? Sandra’s mum asked touching her daughter
Transplant ma, the doctor has already spoken to Edozie about it… She replied
Did he accept? She asked again and Khloe nodded
He is such a good husband,a good husband who loves his wife so much,thank God for giving me such a good son in-law… She said lifting her hands up
Edozie entered with a flask of hot water,he came with his daughter Kiara
Michael rushed in with paschal, Sandra’s mum gave them a stern look, Michael became scared and left the ward covering his face
Please calm down,stop crying mich.. paschal consoled
They don’t want to do anything about Sandra’s health, she is just lying there like a log of wood
Yesterday I asked the doctor if they have made any payments for the kidney transplant, the doctor’s response shocked me… Michael said wiping off his tears
What was his response? Paschal asked
Edozie doesn’t have money that was his response, Edozie doesn’t have money but he has money to get abortion pills for Khloe paschal,who does that eh… Michael shouted pointing at Sandra’s ward
Edozie doesn’t have money? Paschal asked laughing
Guy I’m tired,I can’t just sit and watch Sandra die.. Michael said going to the doctor’s office
The doctor wasn’t in his office,he came outside and dialed his number but was switched off
He roared and entered the ward not looking at anyone’s face,he sat beside Sandra
You will be fine okay.. Michael assured,to the surprise of everyone Sandra sighed and faced the wall
I know you’re patiently waiting for my demise.. Sandra told him
Edozie pushed Michael roughly,he fell and bruised his arm
Paschal stared at Edozie and shook his head,he helped Michael back to his feet
Michael sat outside waiting for the doctor to come back from wherever he went to
You actually want to give Sandra your kidney? Paschal asked him dusting his trouser
Yes paschal,I can’t bear the loss please… Michael replied
You’re risking your life Michael, what if you die eh…
I rather die than seeing Sandra dead,who will take care of my daughter then?
Paschal laughed and told him to stand up because it was getting late
Guy I’m not sleeping here with you ooo,I’m going abeg.. paschal told him
Dey go nah,I’ll wait for that doctor.. Michael replied killing the ant that was crawling on his sandals
Paschal entered his car and drove off within some minutes he drove in
Edozie was busy planning on how to elope with Khloe and Kiara,he called Khloe into his bedroom and told her about his plans
That’s a great idea babe.. Khloe said giving him a handshake
I hope Sandra’s mum won’t find out? She is so addicted to Kiara… Edozie said
I’ll play a tricks on her and get Kiara.. Khloe replied
I trust you my love.. Edozie said laughing
Khloe left the bedroom and met Sandra’s mum going towards the kitchen
Auntie Mary! Khloe called smiling
Ahh, I’ve been looking for you Khloe.. Sandra’s mum said
Is there any problem auntie Mary? Khloe asked shaking her head
Why haven’t Sandra given birth again since she gave birth to Kiara? Mary asked
I don’t know auntie Mary,you can ask her whenever she gets better… Khloe replied as her heart skipped
Is there something you are not telling me? Mary asked again
I think she just want to rest.. Khloe replied as she became uncomfortable with the questions
Seems like Edozie is not man enough,I think so..Mary said
Hmmmmm,if only this woman knows how many times Edozie has gotten me pregnant.. Khloe murmured to herself
What did you say Khloe? Mary asked
Nothing auntie Mary, how’s my parents and sister? Khloe asked changing the topic
Oh,they’re fine..let me go and prepare so that Edozie can drop me at the hospital before going to work.. She said and left Khloe who was in deep thoughts
