Babe, you needed to see me today in the office when I was introduced as the Marketing Manager. People were congratulating me. I couldn’t explain how I was feeling but I know I was so excited. Susan said excitedly
The office of a marketing manager? has been vacant since or the person with the position just got promoted and you are given the position? Ken asked.
I wouldn’t know. All I know is I’m the newest marketing manager in town. Woooooo! Go! go! go! baby! Susan said dancing.

Amen! Amen o! Evangelist Susu. Ken said and they both laughed together.
There’s no single day that passes by Susan will come back home without telling her husband how her day went in the office. Ken got used to her wife’s story that every day he will be happy and wait for her wife to bring gist for him from the office but Susan started coming back home with a long face that now affects their laughter at home. Ken, could not place his hand on what the problem is but he concluded maybe his wife had changed towards him and was tired of seeing him at home doing nothing. Ken, puts more effort into getting another job.
Not quite long, he got a teaching job somewhere off the town. Susan came back home and Ken broke the news to her.
Hell No babe! You are not doing that! a primary school teacher in a school off town probably your salary will be twenty to thirty thousand and they will make you believe your rewards are in Heaven. Babe no! I don’t support you on this. Wait, have you considered the distance from here to that place you mentioned and the transportation fare involved? Susan asked Ken.
Wow! I’ve not thought of that but babe, it is still better than being at home all day doing nothing. There’s no way I will be teaching forever. At least let me be doing it while I look for another job. Your support on this will straighten me. Please I need your support. Ken, said with that tender voice that melts Susan’s heart.
Babbbbbby! Susan said moving closer to hold his hand. Baby, I can support you in every other thing but on this one? No! I just want you to see the reasons with me. There’s no how this teaching will allow you or give you that space to look for another job. Not like you even have passion for that…
But babe I can do it. Let’s forget about being passionate about it, this is just something I know I can do. Ken interrupted Susan.
I know you can do it, babe. I’m not doubting your capacity. No, I’m not. What about that joy you derive from your profession? What about the children you teach, can you make them happy? Will you be happy too? Common babe, we are talking about children’s future here. Susan said.

I wonder what you are doing as a marketing manager you better get your own Chamber so you will be winning cases for me. Ken said and they laughed so hard.
So, tell me. What has been happening in your office lately? You used to gist me all of a sudden you started coming home with a long face I started thinking it’s all about me. Ken said.
Hurh, it can never be about you, darling. Some people in that office have started getting me angry. Susan said as her mood changed.
Eeh! Some people are already getting you angry. Did you cross your boundaries? Well, I know you can’t do that because you are not a troublemaker. Look, babe, I want you to be careful in that place because there’s a lot of Jealousy, hatred, competition, envy, and a lot more in such places. All you need to do is avoid people. When you are been greeted respond with a smiley face and also greet with a smiley face. Focus on your team. Your office is where you will always be found. Stick to these rules and you won’t be in enmity with anybody.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. But Susan I’m offering you something big. Something I’ve never offered anyone before in my life. Something other women will gladly give their bodies and everything just to grab the offer. I’m willing to take care of your house rent, Blossom’s school fees, name it.
