A LIFE APART
EPISODE 10
WRITTEN BY RUKEVWE MERRY

Annabel’s eyes flickered open in the hospital bed, her mind foggy. Beside her, Mirabel lay bandaged and bruised. Memories flooded back, and Annabel’s face contorted in anguish.

“Mirabel, I’m sorry,” Annabel whispered, tears streaming down her face. “I was blind and selfish. I didn’t realize the pain I caused you.”

Mirabel’s eyes opened, filled with forgiveness.
“Love multiplies, it doesn’t divide,” Mirabel Said. “That’s the beauty of family.”

Annabel confessed, “I forced Mr. Johnson to take you to court, to get you out of the house. I was jealous of Father’s love for you.”

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron entered the room, smiling. “We’re so glad you’re both recovering,” Mrs. Aaron said. Christabel, their sister, asked about their health, relief etched on her face.

Years passed. Mirabel graduated from college, Annabel met David, and Mirabel met James. Christabel’s husband, Dennis, beamed with pride.

One day, Mr. and Mrs. Smith arrived, seeking forgiveness. “Mirabel, we’re deeply sorry for our wrong actions in your life,” Mr. Smith said. “We were wrong to maltreat you.” Mirabel forgave them, and the family reunited.

At the family reunion, Annabel turned to Mirabel and said, “You’re my rock, my sister.” Mirabel smiled. “Forever and always, sis.” Christabel added, “We’re united, and our love grows stronger.”

The three sisters, happily married to David, James, and Dennis, celebrated their unbreakable bond. “Family is everything,” Mr. Aaron said, smiling. “Love conquers all.”

THE END

Here is Mr. Aaron’s message:

“Dear friends, I’ve learned a valuable lesson: when God blesses you with children, He has a plan for them. Don’t give them up, no matter the struggles. You never know what they’ll face in another’s care.

As a parent, pray that God empowers you to provide for and protect your children. Don’t let difficulties lead you to give them away to unknown hands.

I regret my decision to separate my daughters. Mirabel’s journey as a cr!m!nal could have been avoided if I had kept my family together.

Cherish and nurture your children. You shape their destiny.

Trust God’s plan for your family.

Love and protect your children.

They are your blessing, your legacy.

— Mr. Aaron”
