“Noo! Noooh! what am I seeing ? how can that happen? Noo! ” Afonja screamed as he watched Grace wake up from the dead .

“Somebody tell me I am dreaming !” Nike screamed as she smashed the glass of champagne in her hands on the tiled floor ,the house helps who were also junior members of the coven ran in and began clearing out the broken glass .
Afonja grabbed a bottle of champagne squeezed it so hard that it broke in many pieces .
Doctor Shade invited Maggie Into her office for counseling.
“Maggie , you have been in the hospital for a month now , I’ve seen your relationship with your husband, I think he loves you .” Doctor Shade said to Margaret.
“But you know when the devil doesn’t want good thing he does anything he can to scatter it.” she continued. “I heard you threatening your husband with divorce , what if you’re the one protecting him from the evil plans of the evil that meant to eat him up .” She said in a voice that was barely audible for Maggie to hear .
“Well I’m a medical doctor, but I was a Christian before I became a doctor , I believe in the power of darkness , my friend late doctor Dapo…” She paused , she couldn’t hold back the tears from falling from her eyes . “I believe if he believed in God he would have been alive today , but he didn’t believe , see how he ended up , I know how many times I’ve seen those cats around my house , tempering with my dishes in the kitchen, seeing them walking in my living room , and my children room . ” She paused again and took Margaret’s hands in hers .
“Divorce isn’t the solution , if truly your fears , that your in-laws have a hand in this is true , they’ll come for your husband, do wish for him to die ?” Maggie shook her head .
“But he doesn’t believe they have a hand in this , what am I to do ?” Margaret asked amidst the tears falling from her eyes .
“What do I do to make him believe everything? he loves his parents too much ,he would never take my side .” Margaret said crying . “What if my mother had not come back to life ?”
“Don’t worry Margaret I’m going to talk to your husband, even if his eyes have been covered by dark power , we would pray it out .”
in the mansion , Afonja and the coven were restless , and confused they couldn’t understand what was happening.
“Today we must all attack , we don’t have much time , three weeks has gone already we have only two months and a week , or else I and Nike will die , that was the agreement.” Afonja grunted in a sombre voice ,as he sat down on the couch the joy and celebration was gone .
“My husband calm down , we don’t rush this kind of mission, we take our time ,to plan it , if we rush in we would meet another defeat .” Nike adviced.
How could she die and come back alive ? He couldn’t believe his eyes .
“What are we going to do now now ? we have only two months left?” Afonja asked with a worried look .
Nike was shocked , she made sure she was dead before she left. She was thinking of a way to get she and her husband out of harms way .
Mrs Grace recovered at a very fast rate , she was discharged from the hospital in less than two weeks after she came back to life , her injuries had all healed .
“Jacob I don’t want to go to the house , I want to follow my mother to Makurdi, until this calms down .” Margaret said a week after they had returned home .
“But why Maggie I thought we’d talked about this already?” He asked confused . ” Why are you bringing this up again ? I told you I will bring the pastor to pray for the house .” Jacob contended .
“That is my problem with you Jacob you must have things done your way always! I told you I saw your dad attack me , you wouldn’t believe me , see the attacks in the hospital, Joshua was taken from my side, they attempted to kill our son! who would do that ? my mother almost lost her life ,an innocent police man was killed ” Margaret fretted with displeasure .
“You can’t take my baby out of this house Maggie , I’m sorry your mother was attacked , you don’t just expect me to believe you , that my parents are a sort of shape shifting monsters , where is the proof Margaret?” Jacob grunted .
“What about the CCTV footage from the hospital, could you not see her grab the baby , and tried to kill my mother , on camera ? was your mother never at any point admitted to the hospital with gun shot wounds ? Jacob why are you so blinded by the love you have for your parents ?” Maggie mewled. “Why do you want to wait till one of us or all of us are dead before you act?”
Jacob skin turned pale , as cold trickle down his spine , what if Maggie was saying the truth ? how could his mother be shot when she had a bullet proof car ,and on the same night they was a shooting in the hospital?
“Maggie I beg you in the name of God , just give me some time to sort this out , I’m going to get to the root cause of this , I’ll protect your mother, you and our baby , even if I have to die doing that .” He promised .
“What about the two servants your parents sent to us ? I don’t need a chef to cook my food , neither do I need a cleaner to clean the house , I can do those things myself .” Maggie was opposed to the idea of having house helps especially those that were recommended by Jacobs evil father .
He showed his ugly face when Mrs Grace and the baby were discharged from the hospital, then he proposed the idea to Jacob , that his new wife shouldn’t be working so hard .
That they had the money to pay for house helps, Jacob was against the idea, but he saw the truth in the situation, Maggie had to take care of her mother who was not as strong as she used to be , she was gradually doing better, and then take care of the baby , only if he knew the helpers were never helpers , he would never have allow them under his roof .
